JerryvonKramer Posted December 9, 2015 Report Posted December 9, 2015 I always assumed it was Dave just because Earl was evil twin.
GSR Posted December 9, 2015 Report Posted December 9, 2015 And this is why I miss the 'comments that don't warrant a thread' thread
JerryvonKramer Posted December 9, 2015 Report Posted December 9, 2015 Using my top-level research skills, it appears that Earl is actually the older brother: http://www.kayfabenews.com/dave-hebner-finally-admits-that-he-not-earl-screwed-bret/ In other Hebner related news, apparently it was Dave and not Earl who screwed Bret!
RCS1988 Posted December 9, 2015 Author Report Posted December 9, 2015 It's Dave considering he got into the business in 1963 and Earl in 1977.
RCS1988 Posted December 10, 2015 Author Report Posted December 10, 2015 That's what it says in Dave's Wikipedia page, although it said 1970's, on the side of the page, it says 1963.
Ricky Jackson Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 Twins are usually born seconds apart, not years apart ☺
RCS1988 Posted December 10, 2015 Author Report Posted December 10, 2015 I know that Pretty Ricky (R-Truth reference), but Twins don't come out at the exact same time, thus one twin would be older by a few seconds.
GSR Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 It's Dave considering he got into the business in 1963 and Earl in 1977. If you know the answer why on earth have you started this terrible thread?
RCS1988 Posted December 10, 2015 Author Report Posted December 10, 2015 It doesn't say who is the older twin. If it did, then I wouldn't have made this HOT topic.
JerryvonKramer Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 That wiki entry is almost certainly wrong. Dave started in late 70s same as earl.
RCS1988 Posted December 10, 2015 Author Report Posted December 10, 2015 Exactly, unless he started in 1963 doing stuff like selling food at the arena.
El McKell Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 Using my top-level research skills, it appears that Earl is actually the older brother:http://www.kayfabenews.com/dave-hebner-finally-admits-that-he-not-earl-screwed-bret/In other Hebner related news, apparently it was Dave and not Earl who screwed Bret! This post made this terrible idea for a thread worth it.
Loss Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 And this is why I miss the 'comments that don't warrant a thread' thread We don't need a thread this specific, no, but no reason we can't start this as a thread about Referee Factoids or something along those lines.
JerryvonKramer Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 Ive been thinking about that, and I'm not sure that I believe it. Here is Montreal If you google image search, there is a pic of Dave and Earl together in 1999, three years later. Dave had put on a lot more weight than Earl.
JerryvonKramer Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 Someone get me a pic of Montrel!
Johnny Sorrow Posted December 11, 2015 Report Posted December 11, 2015 Someone get me a pic of Montrel!
goc Posted December 11, 2015 Report Posted December 11, 2015 Holy shit JVK I thought you were joking when you linked that. It's KAYFABE NEWS! It's a freaking parody site. This is like if you were linking Onion stories like it was real news. I guess the other big news sites have so far missed this story:http://www.kayfabenews.com/helmsley-mcmahon-released-told-creative-nothing-authority/ World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announced today the release of two top executives and on-air personalities, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, after it was deemed that the company’s so-called Creative team had “nothing for The Authority.” “We wish Mr. Helmsley and Mrs. McMahon-Helmsley all the best in their future endeavors,” reads the tersely worded press release. The news comes as a shock to wrestling fans worldwide, who had become accustomed to seeing the tyrannical power-couple (known collectively as The Authority) deliver interminable in-ring soliloquys during the opening 40 minutes of WWE’s weekly program, Monday Night Raw. The company offered no reason for the termination aside from stating “it was best for business.” Effective immediately, the roles of The Authority will be portrayed by Terry Taylor and Lita. Helmsley and McMahon-Helmsley, meanwhile, have already begun taking bookings on the independent wrestling circuit, and will appear this weekend at Cleveland’s Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW) as “The Bureaucrats.”
Happ Hazzard Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Dave was always noticeably fatter than Earl, even back at "The Big Event" when Earl debuted in WWF. Dave never refereed after that point, they just used Earl as "Dave Hebner" for a few years before people forgot about the screwing of Hogan. Dave would sometimes make appearances such as trying to free Warrior from the coffin, and trying to stop Elizabeth going to the ring at WM8.
Zenjo Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 How I wish that Mrs Hebner had only given birth to one son. Although it probably would've just been Earl had that been the case. Or he'd have appeared at a later date. It's like one of those sci-fi stories where someone keeps going back in time to prevent an atrocity, but they still end up happening no matter what.
