In the fourth installment of the Parejas Increibles Podcast, Stacey and Matt continue their trek across the International Date Line and through their GWE lists, this time soldiering on from 45-34, with Stacey as spirited about her picks as ever and Matt still making preposterous moral statements on life through specific placings.

Which illustrious wrestler gets compared to Trish Stratus? (Possibly not even by me!)
Who should have their own TV show set in space?
Just how badly can we butcher the Spanish language?

All important questions that will be answered.

More great discussion here. I especially liked the stuff on Eadie, thought it had some pretty interesting takes.

I saw the placement of Christian largely as a troll.

On Patterson, his banner year on tape is 79 imo, if you haven't you should both check that entire first IC title run out.I haven't seen than 68 match, sounds cool. There is some San Fran out there but it's badly labelled and hard to watch because no sound. I did my own commentary on one match.

I liked Jimmy's enthusiasm about Sarge and I largely feel the same way.

Was entertained by the butchering of Spanish.

It definitely wasn't what she said. That's a more springboardy thingee.

You'll note very earnest discussion of Christian afterwards so if it is a troll, it's one with a lot of heart, dammit.

I've read Matt on Eadie many times but he pulled it all together for an impressive testimonial to his guy at the end of this show. Also thought Stacey delivered a smart defense of Jeff Hardy.

I honestly struggle with the idea of Parv being anti-Christian. He's basically a Misawa tribute act during his WWECW run. Regardless of his rating on Matt's list vis a vis Ted, he feels like a guy JVK would like during that period if nothing else

Which ignores the major point for earnest banter, by the way as in i proffered a specific initiative.

And I can spell quebradora but boy was it not rolling off the lips.

That was mainly me, Matt knew what he was trying to say, but I'm inarticulate AND ignorant about what Lucha moves are actually called. Wouldn't know a quebradora from a quiche.

One is an egg dish and the other is...

I knew Demolition/Brainbusters would come up at some point with you two. I never feel more distant with you both than on that awful, awful series of matches. Im actually excited and dreading those matches for Tag Teams Back Again. Excited to see what Kelly thinks and dreading because they suck.

The best tag team series of matches in WWF history.

I appreciate Marty's tastes. They're earnest, enthusiastic, and add a great deal the community. I'm sure he'll settle down once he sees the wiser part of 30. He's the Tom Zenk to Kelly's Rick Martel, but, you know, with more upside. The Justin Gabriel to Kelly's Matt Hardy?

Matt, my parents have been waiting for me to settle/calm down for 26 years and all I got to say is ain't happening, brutha! WOOOOOOOOO! I would be totally happy to Tom Zenk to Kelly's Ricky Martel. You can take your technical proficiency, all about getting paid & laid. :P

Smash is yucky.

Now I have never felt closer to Matt when he couldn't remember the Spanish name for the Atlantis move and said he is from Boston as why he couldn't pronounce it. it is so true people from Boston (my father and myself especially) cant pronounce shit.

All in one podcast, Matt D taking me on that ride.

For the record, heel Demolition in 1988 is quite good. The fact the face teams always had to double up their move and tag in and out is awesome. You are totally correct. My malfunction is 1989 babyface Demolition, which is dreadful. You know how Parv complains about Bob Backlund, babyface Demolition is infinitely worse. 1990-91 Demolition they were washed up., but still there is a Rockers match that timeframe that is decent and I liked the Warrior/Road Warriors six-mans.
