Grimmas Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 Weekends always have the least participation on the board, Mondays are usually pretty good. Especially during Raw.
Grimmas Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 I was wondering if 88 Hogan or 89 Flair would be first. Tough call.
gordi Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 Here's hoping we get at least two rounds in today. . Here's hoping we get two * picks * in
Grimmas Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 Someone want to set up a PM with everyone in the draft, that way most ppl will get e-mails to notify them?
LowBlowPodcast Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 Someone want to set up a PM with everyone in the draft, that way most ppl will get e-mails to notify them? I tried but the admins only have it for 6 people
Grimmas Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 Someone want to set up a PM with everyone in the draft, that way most ppl will get e-mails to notify them? I tried but the admins only have it for 6 people Oh.. haven't tried since I wasn't an admin.
gordi Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 Well... I'm off to bed soon. LowBlow, I'll send you a short proxy list in case things get rolling. I'll check in when I wake up.
LowBlowPodcast Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 Sounds good. joeg is up.
gordi Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 Thanks, LowBlow! I love Jetlag's pick! I took Osaka instead of Tokyo hoping that someone would want to do a death match or shoot style or indy sleaze promotion and I figured Tokyo would suit that better. Though, of course, Motegi would make an equal amount of sense in Philly, among other places...
rainmakerrtv Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 If nothing else, if he ever has a tournament, we know who is going out in the first round.
Beast Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 Happy Hogan is off the table so I don't have to choose him. Fairly certain my top pick will make it to me.....we will see.
LowBlowPodcast Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 Happy Hogan is off the table so I don't have to choose him. Fairly certain my top pick will make it to me.....we will see. Johhny B Badd will be off the table when it's your turn beast... So move on to number 2
Grimmas Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 12 hours or 24 before the person gets passed?
Grimmas Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 12 makes more sense. People only sleep for 8 hours, usually. 12 gives people lots of time.
LowBlowPodcast Posted November 7, 2017 Author Report Posted November 7, 2017 12 makes more sense. People only sleep for 8 hours, usually. 12 gives people lots of time. If we continue to have this much after the first round I say we go 12.
Lee Casebolt Posted November 7, 2017 Report Posted November 7, 2017 I've run similar games on other boards and the format we always used was 24 hours for the first round and 6 hours for subsequent rounds.
LowBlowPodcast Posted November 7, 2017 Author Report Posted November 7, 2017 Maybe 12 until round 10 and 6 after? That seems easy enough... you have to be invested in something like this to finish it...
El Boricua Posted November 7, 2017 Report Posted November 7, 2017 Has anyone DM'd joeg make sure he knows we're live and it's his turn? I think almost everyone had checked in at some point the past few days.
LowBlowPodcast Posted November 7, 2017 Author Report Posted November 7, 2017 Yeah I messaged him but nothing.
elliott Posted November 7, 2017 Report Posted November 7, 2017 I've been traveling and only just saw this. Would love to jump in if it isn't too late. But is anyone thinking about Mexico? I'm interested in joining up, but I'm not sure it makes sense if I was just drafting the luchadores against myself.
LowBlowPodcast Posted November 7, 2017 Author Report Posted November 7, 2017 Honestly, if I had to put you in, I would have to rearrange every round... best I could do is make you the last pick in every round unless everyone wants me to re-do the draft order for each round? I could maybe throw you in the later rounds but again it is re-doing every rounds order that we've already put up.
Lee Casebolt Posted November 7, 2017 Report Posted November 7, 2017 Early picks reinforce my long-held belief that 1989 is the best year in wrestling history.
