GeneJackson95
Looking forward to Richmond! I agree with Lowblow on the fact that having guys who were famous in a territory can sorta limit you to following a certain pattern, I think it's really freshened up both Mid Atlantic and the WWF with this curve ball and is really allowing for some fun and unique booking opportunities that we otherwise would have never seen. kevinmcfl
Even though he did not get the win tonight, I like the push you are giving Sweet Brown Sugar. He was very underrated.  Terry Taylor seems to be on fire but he is on a big collision course with Rip Oliver  and now the main event... WOW! If there ever were two people who could put Dibiase in his place it would be Dusty and Hacksaw. This is going to get real interesting
SirEdger
You honestly couldn't have picked a better tag team partner for Jim Duggan than Dusty Rhodes. Especially considering his ties in the Florida territory where he was such a star. Fantastic main event and it was great to see the Dibiase/Hansen pairing work together several years before they did IRL in All-Japan! gordi
DiBiase & Hansen vs Dusty & Duggan is just such a first-rate pure quality pro wrestling match-up. I can only imagine the heat for that one. Â I love the picture you paint of Armand bravely hanging on Bundy's back while JJ panics about maybe losing the 10 Gs. Awesome image. Â Greatness is a perfect name for a heel team like Sammartino & Robinson. You don't need any other reason to boo them, that name does the trick. GeneJackson95
I love the $10,000 Challenge! Â Awesome job with the mystery partner, this is the perfect venue for a Dusty debut in Mid Atlantic....Things are seemingly far from over between Dusty and Dibiase...and even Hansen for that matter. gordi
Orndorff and Idol are an interesting good guy tag team in that they could easily work just as well as a bad guy pairing. All you need to do to get them over as babyfaces is have them play to the crowd, and put them in there against a couple of true heels. And it works! They should stick together, maybe get a tag team name. Â I like how Mulligan, Mr. Brad, and the Assassins all cheat to win in different ways. dawho5
Acknowledging Baba's win was a nice touch. Like Rock Riddle I was also thrilled Davey Baby was back. He just brings out so much more in Riddle than Tony ever does. Kirchner and Armand Rougeau are looking to make an impact. Sammartino being taken under Robinson's wing is such a great idea. Loved Teddy's TV promo. Â Taylor against the Paul Jones Army should be a fun feud. Not sure I'd pile on against Armand. There are bigger fish in the Rougeau clan. Sugar and the Cobra would have been cutting edge for 1986. Hell of a main event with Big Dust showing up in Orlando. Would have sent the fans home very happy. Â Rheingans putting one over on Bob is a great way to extend the feud. In fact, the closing 4 matches on the Charleston show were all great. I liked putting Orndorff's win on last, send the fans home happy. Â I know the Horsemen were big in Mid Atlantic, but I love how creative your booking has gotten in their absence. Not only that, but it takes guys who were being built up well on TV and gets them out of the shadow of the Horsemen. I know you have a new crop of big names that came in like Bundy, Dibiase and Singh. But this gives people like Prichard, Taylor, Rock Riddle a chance to be a bigger part of the whole. kevinmcfl
The people of West Virginia got a treat here. I agree with Gordi in that I thought the heel cheating variety was fun to follow. I also like Idol and Orndorff here but I must say that my favorite MACW team right now is Polynesian Power.
GeneJackson95
What a great card! Love the main event! What's fun about it is depending on where you have this match at the heels and babyfaces could be interchangeable.

Along with me is my partner David Crockett.  Crockett: Thank you Tony, boy do we have a show tonight. Our main event will be The Steiner Brothers taking on The Assassins led by The Assassin of course.  Schiavone: That should be a good one as those teams have been fighting all over the Mid Atlantic area. Everybody better buckle up because the team of Tiger Jeet Singh and WWC Champion Abdullah the Butcher will be here live!  Crockett: Tony, I fear for the safety of everyone in the building. Also in action will be Paul Orndorff, Hacksaw Duggan, Mark Youngblood, Rip Oliver, Austin Idol, The Southern Ramblers, The Fabulous Blondes, The Caspian Empire and Hot Property.  Schiavone: And we will be hearing from the Canadian International Champion, Don Kernodle. That should be very interesting. Fans lets go to the ring.  Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Thomas Greco Duggan gets the crowd going as he powerslams Greco. Duggan swings Greco to the ropes and takes him down with a shoulder tackle. Duggan backs up and gets in his 3 point stance. Greco staggers up and Duggan nails him with a running clothesline to get the pin! The fans roar as Duggan heads to the podium. Crockett: Well Hacksaw the fans in Florida got a real surprise as you and the American Dream Dusty Rhodes defeated the team of Stan Hansen and Ted Dibiase. I know you had to feel pretty good about that.  Duggan: It felt great David Crockett! I know I can count on Dusty and he told me not to worry anymore about Stan Hansen, he'll take care of him. As for you Dibiase, on May 25th at the Memorial Day Event, it's you and me, one on one for the United States title. I pinned you in Florida and the next time I pin you, I'll be holding up that US title!  Commercial Break Southern Ramblers w/Paul Jones vs. Tim Straw and Vic DeMarco Rich slams Straw's head on the turnbuckle then tags in Rose. Rose body slams Straw then hops up on the 2nd turnbuckles and hits a corner slingshot splash then tags in Rich. Rich picks up Straw and hits the snake eyes on the top turnbuckle. It's only a matter of time before the Southern Ramblers have gold around their waists. But first I would like them to finish off those 2nd rate losers, the Bar Room Brawlers. I'm sorry, I meant that poor OLD sap Jimmy Valiant (More Laughs) I hope you're paying attention at what I'm capable of Terry Taylor, because come May 25th you're going to get a big dose of what I'm serving and I don't think you're going to like it at all!  Commercial Break The Fabulous Blondes w/Rock Riddle vs. Carl Hillman and Aaron Arbuckle Timbs swings Hillman to the ropes and nails him with a high knee then tags in Crews. gordi
I love the way that every single segment is building toward something for the future, but without getting repetitive. You use interviews, angles, post-match stuff... and that card in Richmond just keeps getting hotter and hotter.
dawho5
That Richmond card is getting ridiculous kinds of great. I loved the Kernodle/Kirchner segment and I think that is your hottest feud right now. Riddle correcting Youngblood on the correct way to address Davi-Davey Baby is gold. Assassins taking out their frustrations on Hot Property is the right way to go. Also, good to see Abby getting some recognition as the completely undeserving champion of the WWC. kevinmcfl
I am so glad that we made the deal where Rip Oliver went to you. You have done such a great job and have him right in the middle of everything which is what I failed to accomplish. Oliver was and should be a star in the territorial system. Â Speaking if the territory system... what a week this is going to be for the NWA. Martel heads to Japan for a big match on the 24th, on the 25th we have the Supercard in Richmond for MACW, the 26th sees the UWF and Memorial Day Bash and the 31st we have the David VonErich Parade of Champions not to mention Andre the Giant heading up to Canada to help out Jos Leduc. If I left anything out, I am sorry but WOW! This is going to be fun. Â We need to buy Bill Apter some plane tickets cause he should be at each event! gordi
Nice to see the Steiners getting a win before they come over here.  I believe his name is Mister Brad.  That's exact;y how I'd book Idol vs Singh, too.  The Agency just has so many ways to cheat to win.  Nice "turn about is fair play" spots between Mulligan and #1derful  I like all the various tag feuds coming together in the US Tag Team Title Bout.  Then a good, close fight in the Main Event. I'm loving heel champ Dibiase in MACW.
GeneJackson95
Man, nobody does a better job developing their mid card guys and undercard than you do. Rock Riddle and the Agency are quickly developing into stars and "must see" segments each week! Duggan has established himself as a top babyface here in short order and filled the spot of Magnum TA well. Â A really solid card from top to bottom but there's no way I'm not driving to Richmond to see the Roadies vs. Abby/Tiger...that should be wild for sure!! SirEdger
Great card in Hampton. Loved the draw finish between Mark Youngblood and Rip Oliver. Perfect example of a great use of a manager during a match!
dawho5
Duggan again sends the fans home happy. He's making a habit of that. The Hot Property/Assassins tag was good and had a nice overbooked ending. Prichard barely beating Kirchner because of Kernodle's interference is such an awesome heel way to keep the TV title.
