KawadaSmile Posted June 20, 2018 Author Report Posted June 20, 2018 Cass did not cool Bryan off at all, what are you guys saying? In fact I'd say it was smart to pair him up with Cass - they actually could get a superstar out of Cass if he wasn't impossible to work with, and you don't want to go straight to the Miz feud right off the gate, so he was useful as a warm up at the very least. Jmare007 Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 Yeah, I'm not sure in what way has Bryan cooled off. Just right now he got by far the biggest pop out of the people in the gauntlet. He's been more protected than during any other time in his career - except the month before he got the Cena match at Summerslam, during the "weak link" angle -, got a new finisher and has constantly main evented over the WWE title program, something people LOVE to bitch about when it's any other guy besides D-Bry he's the face of SD as much or even more than AJ at this point. Anyways, can't wait for the Gauntlet knowing there's not gonna be any Big Cass fuckery. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 20, 2018 Author Report Posted June 20, 2018 Mella is money. Having a goon like Ellsworth enhances the act so much. If everything goes right, she'll have a career path similar to Miz and that is VERY high praise. Quote
C.S. Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 E.A. and Large Mass will end up in TNA by the end of the year IMO. Quote
Coffey Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 Good riddance. Cass is fuckin' garb. He brought nothing to the table. At least Rowan is a good fit in some tag team stuff... Quote
Mad Dog Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 E.A. and Large Mass will end up in TNA by the end of the year IMO. My joke was Cassidy of Unusual Size for his TNA name. Quote
Jmare007 Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 Bryan starting the Gauntlet, another iron man performance? Quote
Loss Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 I don't have nearly the problem with DB booking that a lot of people do, but he has cooled off some from when people were hanging on his every word the night he returned and Owens and Zayn beating him up was the easiest heat in the world. I know it's tough to keep that exact same emotional level for the entire time he's around, but I do think they could have sustained it for a long time if he was only in matches people wanted to see. KawadaSmile Posted June 20, 2018 Author Report Posted June 20, 2018 Sanity vs Bludgeon Brothers is a Hell in a Cell match waiting to happen. Also, Bludgeon Brothers vs Finn/Strowman is legit one of the best tag matches they can do right now, in terms of brand crossover matches. Quote
Loss Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 To just be the first part of a gauntlet match, Bryan vs Big E was really, really strong. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 20, 2018 Author Report Posted June 20, 2018 Yo... DB vs Big E was fucking amazing. Quote
Jmare007 Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 To just be the first part of a gauntlet match, Bryan vs Big E was really, really strong. Yup, left me wanting to see more singles Big E. He had great chemistry with Bryan. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 20, 2018 Author Report Posted June 20, 2018 Joe nearly broke Bryan's neck on a powerslam. Shit was hard to watch. Quote
Jmare007 Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 I need this fucking match in full. WWE better upload it on youtube or something Quote
Strummer Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 So are we getting a team Hell No reunion as .Bryan is clearly going to Rowan and Harper? Who will his partner be? Quote
Jmare007 Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 Not sure a filler feud with the Bludgeon Brothers is what's hot in these streets, but that win by Miz was perfect. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 20, 2018 Author Report Posted June 20, 2018 Holy FUCK this match is awesome. Might even top the RAW gauntlet at this rate. Quote
WingedEagle Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 Let's discuss the vital issue of the day -- is such a gauntlet one match or multiple matches? I generally feel pretty strongly that its a series of individual, separate matches, but with Bryan and his story dominating an overwhelming portion of the entire presentation I'm open to considering it as one package. Quote
WingedEagle Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 Also, I absolutely loved the finishes to Bryan/Big E and *especially* Bryan/Joe. That latter one was just phenomenal. Quote

Chikara treats a gauntlet as individual matches as far as their point system goes. Quote
Strummer Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 Rusev!! Wasn't expecting that finish! Quote
WingedEagle Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 Loved the gauntlet and the finish, as I was absolutely positive Miz was winning at that stage. It'll be a ton of fun looking forward to a fresh title program, even if only for one PPV. Quote
Jmare007 Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 HOLY SHIT RUSEV WON!!!! Can't fucking wait for AJ vs Rusev, I'm so happy right now. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 20, 2018 Author Report Posted June 20, 2018 Yeah, Bryan was totally cooled off, guys. This match. My God. I'm taking it as a single match because it had a more cohesive story that actually played into the match nearly seamlessly, in contrast to RAW's more disjointed, but still amazing gauntlet. Quote
