Sheepherders carry over their AWA momentum and get a big win here over the Killer Bees. Looks like Charland gave OMG a battle but comes up short. Nice to see Los Infernales come back to Lutte and get a strong win. Jacques has been on a tear recently. St. Clair gets a little break from Singh and gets a solid win, but I believe he's back on a plane to WWC to face Singh. I wonder if this intense week of travel will affect him?? Man, Kernodle is making a lot of dangerous enemies. His days as champ might be numbered.

Sheepherders and Bees would have been a spectacle for sure.  Not sure if they would have clicked at all, but it would have been memorable.  Charland lasting 25 against OMG is impressive.  Los Infernales look strong and I like that.  Davis pulls off at least (probably more) a mild upset victory.  Bruce and Jacques both get solid wins and Jacques has been tearing it up lately.  St. Kernodle has been a great heel champ in two promotions.

I like the idea of opening the show with Andre.  Gets the crowd into things right away.  That and all of the title matches coming up. :)  Charland has had a good build, Satanico beating him is actually pretty good.  Paul E.'s stable is on a huge roll in Lutte.  Dump vs. Monster Ripper is a battle of the lady monsters and it would have gone over well.  Adias and Sunny continue to have their issues.  When is somebody going to notice and give them a match?  Kokina and OMG as a feud has been really good.  The ultimate showdown is going to be something.

Looking forward to tomorrow night's show. :)

You know it's going to be a hot show when Andre/Mulligan open. Satanico gets a big win over Charland. The GAEA showcase match looked pretty amazing. This Adias/Sunny situation is really heating up well. That's going to be one heck of a collision when they finally meet one on one. The very same goes for OMG and Kokina. SST and Killer Bees put on a great main event. Fatu showed he can really handle himself.

Good way to start the show with two feuds boiling over.  Is Kokina or OMG the heel here?  Infernales stay hot with a  win, I like it.  Roadies have been in Lutte quite a bit lately.  Glad to see they are still going strong.  Kernodle as your heel champ has been a great run so far.

The tension and heat is really building on some great feuds. The Jacques/OMG match ends in chaos as their enemies interfere. I have a good feeling we're going to get some huge matches soon. Infernales are racking up the wins. The Road Warriors and SST going at it is always money to me. MS-1 pulls double duty tonight and looks strong but that dirty Don Kernodle manages to walk out with the title.

Man, you've done such a great job with this Sunny WarCloud/Brian Adias angle...a great mid-card feud!

A lot of great talented big men in Lutte and One Man Gang makes for formidable adversary for Kokina.

Loving Don Kernodle as a heel and he's been on quite the roll for monthes now, great stuff!

Bees vs. SST is a great main event!

NWA Canadian International TV Championship: "Maniac" Matt Borne beat Jacques Rougeau in 18:30 to retain. Postmatch, "GORGEOUS" JIMMY GARVIN & PRECIOUS attacked Matt Borne! Precious sprayed something in the eyes of Borne and Garvin hit a piledriver on Borne. What's Garvin's purpose here???

Martel's win over OMG is big and puts him right back in title contention. Road Warriors retain but for me their opponents were the story here. What a combo with Graham and Ole. They might of done alright if Ole hadn't of walked out. Ole is making a lot of enemies of late. MS-1/Cobra, Goto/Satanico and Lane/Brunzell are a string of exciting and fast paced matches that must of kept the crowd hot. Kernodle continues his reign. Borne gets a huge win over Jacques but gets a surprise attack from Jimmy Garvin. Very interested to see where this goes.

Martel getting a win over OMG is huge.  Ole is just being a humongous prick of late.  To everyone.  So basically he's being Ole.  MS-1 and the Cobra is a very interesting matchup.  I'm not sure if it played out great or like a trainwreck, but it would have been memorable.  Anything with Satanico in it is good.  Seriously, I've never seen a match where I didn't at least love how Satanico played his part.  Stan Lane and Jim Brunzell is a really good under the radar match.  Both underrated workers.  Kernodle vs. Fatu is heel vs. heel, not sure how the crowd would have reacted.  Garvin attacking Borne can only lead to good things.

NWA Lutte Internationale/International Wrestling TV LIVE!

July 12th, 1986

Buffalo, NY

fwa1.jpgnwa.jpg

Quick and dirty results

-As the show starts, we see some highlights of the events from last night when Jimmy Garvin & Precious attacked Matt Borne after his successful TV title defense. After the footage, Jimmy Garvin shows up at the broadcast booth and is asked about the purpose of his actions. Garvin says that all he could hear about is how Matt Borne is a great TV champion. Jimmy is offended because he thinks he can be a greater TV champion that Matt Borne can ever be. So Garvin will stalk Borne until he gets his shot at the TV title and beats him. Once he's done with him, Jimmy Garvin will prove without a shadow of a doubt that Borne was only a footnote in wrestling history.

NWA Canadian International Tag Team Championship: The Samoan SWAT Team (w/Paul E. Dangerously) beat The Fabulous Ones in 14:03 to retain after Kokina Maximus pinned Stan Lane

-Hot Property beat The Hart Brothers in 6:56 when Joe Savoldi pinned Keith Hart

-The One Man Gang (w/Floyd Creatchman) beat Tatsutoshi Goto  in 9:48 . Postmatch, Hiro Saito ran in and threw powder in the Gang's face while Paul E. Dangerously was trying to distract him. Still, the Gang was able to put his hands on Paul E but Hiro Saito & Tatsutoshi Goto hit an Assisted Backdrop Suplex on the Gang while Paul E pummeled Floyd with his phone. Paul E then introduced the newest addition to his Dangerous Alliance: Tatsutoshi Goto & Hiro Saito aka the Blond Outlaws!

-Jumpin' Jim Brunzell beat "Suicide Blond" Chris Candido in 15:08

-Brian Adias beat Al Madril in 9:09. Postmatch, Adias tries to attack Madril even more but Sunny War Cloud runs in and jumps on Adias. Security shows up and is able to separate both men and send them back to the locker room.

NWA World Tag Team Championship: The Road Warriors beat The Southern Ramblers in 19:08 to retain after Hawk pinned Randy Rose following the Doomsday Device

-Gilles Poisson & Matt Borne beat The Rock N' Roll RPMs in 12:08 when Borne pinned Mike Davis. After the match, Jimmy Garvin attacked Matt Borne one more time. Precious sprayed something in the eyes of Poisson while Garvin piledrove Borne on the TV title belt!

Don Kernodle shows up for his match and claims that Jacques Rougeau will never get what he wants, meaning his rematch for his title because Frank Valois is biased and they'll do everything to take the title away from him. Therefore, he will dictate if and when Rougeau gets his rematch.

NWA Canadian International Heavyweight Championship: In the complete confusion, it seems like B. Brian Blair defeated Don Kernodle after interference from Jacques Rougeau following an accidental ref bump. The crowd goes completely nuts as Jacques nailed Kernodle with his title belt and draped Blair over Kernodle. However, referees, Bruno Sammartino & Frank Valois were seen discussing at ringside since the bell signaling the end of the time limit sounded at the same time Luigi Macera registered the pinfall. B. Brian Blair still walked out with the title, celebrating with Jacques Rougeau.

NWA LUTTE INTERNATIONALE PRESS STATEMENT FOLLOWING THE MAIN EVENT IN BUFFALO, NY

After video review of the main event of the TV event in Buffalo, NY, Frank Valois, Bruno Sammartino and NWA President Bob Geigel have decided to overturn the decision of the main event and thus, return the NWA Canadian International Heavyweight Championship to Don Kernodle for the following reasons:

-The unwarranted interference of Jacques Rougeau who hit Don Kernodle with the championship belt and physically impacted the results of the match by draping B. Brian Blair over Don Kernodle.

-Furthermore, extensive replay showed that the 60-minute time limit expired before Luigi Macera completed the 3-count that gave B. Brian Blair the victory. Therefore, the official decision is a time limit draw

However, Lutte promoter Frank Valois and NWA President unequivocally refutes the allegations of a obvious bias against him in favor of Jacques Rougeau and reminds Mr. Kernodle that the National Wrestling Alliance will decide when and where Jacques Rougeau will get a title shot. However, because of his actions, Jacques Rougeau will be ineligible to receive a title shot for the next 90 days and will enter a probation period in which his actions will severely monitored. At the end of that period, should Jacques Rougeau have respected the conditions of his probation, he will be granted his official rematch against Don Kernodle for the NWA Canadian International Heavyweight Championship.

Don Kernodle has also been fined $25,000 for his inflammatory comments against the National Wrestling Alliance and Frank Valois.

Garvin makes a huge TV debut here and makes his intentions known, then backs those intentions up with a piledriver. The SST/Fab Ones match was awesome. SST is really becoming a top NWA team. Hot Property represented MACW well with a huge win over the Harts. The Adias/Sunny feud continues to build tension and heat. Wow, looking forward to the Blond Outlaws and what they stir up here. Southern Ramblers have given the Road Warriors some good matches but once again the champs prevail. What a way to end the show. That dirty Kernodle manages to once again barely hold on to that title. Poor Jacques, pretty heavy penalty laid on him. Expect the unexpected in Lutte.
