Cornette fires a shot at RPG. We'll see how RPG responds. This could be the best verbal feud of all time.

Rose recruits the Bruise Brothers. Sin City Superstars are already questioning a promised title shot, I have a feeling this could blow up on Rose.

I see big things ahead for the Force of July. Loving these guys!

It's funny, when Windham came out with the NOE, I immediately went to his Widowmaker character. So glad you did that. Now we can see its full potential. Another reason why I love this game.

You've got a gem feud with Owen and Buzz.

Snow's win over Malenko gets him immediate credibility.

I think Eddie and Barr will be wearing gold soon.

Cow Palace,

Pierre shows Cactus that he can get a little nuts as well.

Blackman's woes continue.

St. Clair shows off his toughness.

Grave Digger buries the Ladies Man.

Force of July puts the Sin City Superstars title request on hold.

Rose shows young Brian the ropes.

The Brigade/NOE feud is going to set 88 on fire.

Fresno,

Cheetah Kid is rapidly rising the LHW ranks.

Damn, beating the Southern Boys proves the Bruise Brothers are for real.

The champions better not forget about Billy Jack.

Windham knocks over the first Brigade domino.

Nothing like two young, energetic and hungry teams going at it.

Oh man I can't wait for the Hitman/Anvil TV title match!

Hall is off and running as CA. Champ. Hall's had some good territory runs in our game but 88 could make him a bonafide main eventer.

Al Snow vs. Gary Albright

Leif Cassidy | Ring the Damn Bell Gary Albright (Wrestling) - TV Tropes

"The Animal" Gary Albright has been tearing through the opposition in PCW without breaking much of a sweat, and didn't seem particularly impressed looking at Al Snow. Snow has been on his own since leaving the Knights Templar, and while he has had the fans behind him, he has been working hard to find his own identity. A big victory last week over Joe Malenko has given him a considerable boost, so this week he would be taking on another member of the Pride in the Animal. Once the match started, Albright rushed in for a lockup, but Snow wouldn't go for it, instead getting in some quick jabs and kicks before backing off. Other wrestlers had attempted hit and run tactics on Albright but eventually the big Animal caught up with them. Snow, however, was far more effective with them, landing some hard forearms shots that actually staggered Albright. Albright was able to get in some big throws on Snow, but Snow was able to roll through them and bounce back, ready to take him on. Snow ultimately made the fatal error of getting Albright in a waistlock and trying to take him down. Albright staggered him with a huge elbow smash, then hit a belly to belly suplex that took the wind out of Snow. He locked him in a Dragon Sleeper , and Snow, realizing there was no escape, swiftly tapped out. But that was not enough for Albright. He kept raining hard elbows on Snow after the match, until Dan Severn and Steve Blackman ran out to drive him off. Severn and Blackman then protectively helped Snow to the back.

Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring

Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests are a part of the vibrant PCW tag team scene … Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express.

Bobby Eaton dead at 62: Tributes paid to wrestling legend who was one half of iconic The Midnight Express tag-team | The US Sun

The crowd boos as Jim Cornette leads his men to the ring, but he didn't seem to take any notice. Cornette clearly had a bug under his collar about something already.

Coss : Jim Cornette, the Midnight Express have had a lot of success in PCW, winning the Pacific Tag Team Titles twice. But with all of the new teams arriving recently , the competition has gotten much more fierce. How do you plan to stay relevant in this new era of tag team action?

Cornette : Well, I've got something to say about that! All of these teams have nothing on the Midnight Express. We are the elite, the platinum standard of tag team wrestling. There's some red-faced yammer-head who keeps flapping his gums about how great his team is. I hate guys like that! He keeps saying his boys are the team of the future. They won't have any future if they keep going the way they are going in the present. They will never be fit to even step in the same ring as Sweet Stan and Beautiful Bobby.

Cornette is cut off as Ronnie P. Gossett, backed up by Bull Payne and Curtis Hughes, waddles out to the ring. Gossett is clearly boiling mad and demands the microphone.

image.jpeg.b9dbf85de89400ab4611c1ca528ac4a0.jpegBull Pain - Feel the Pain | wrestlingjunkiesCurtis Hughes, your thoughts? | Wrestling Forum

Gossett : What's the big deal, insulting me like that? You're lucky Mike and Wayne are working out at the gym right now, because they would give you what for! My boys are the team of the future and your day is done! You might as well just pack it in and make way for the Destruction Crew!

Cornette : The day my men clear out for the likes of you, Satan will be skating to work! You and your goons better get out of my interview, before the Midnight Express teaches you a lesson in manners.

Cornette is cut off as Mike Enos and Wayne Bloom sneak in the ring behind him and ambush the Midnight Express with the handles of their sledgehammers.  Payne and Hughes hold him trapped with an arm each as he watches aghast while the Destruction Crew pummel the Midnight Express. The Crew then hoist him up and execute the Wrecking Ball on the helpless manager. The crowd watches in horror as Gossett and his men leave, laughing all the way, with the three members of the Midnight Express laying prone in the ring.

Brian Lee vs. Jimmie Lee

Wrestling With Sin: Route 66 | Ring the Damn Bellimage.jpeg.6beee5449516125935d468dbe40293e8.jpeg

Both of these men have quickly become hot new prospects in PCW, the Bulldozer as a singles wrestler and the Gravedigger as one half of the Hollywood Vampires. Jimmie's partner the Vampire Warrior was at ringside along with his manager Paul Bearer, while Brian was on his own. Brian didn't let that faze him at all, and these two bruisers had a rollicking, heavy hitting bout. Both men landed some big moves, but it looked like it would go to the Grave Digger when he tossed Brian into the ropes for the Spinal Grinder. But Brian just ploughed through him like a proverbial Bulldozer , blasting him in the head with a forearm smash before hitting the Prime Time Slam for the pinfall. Vampire Warrior dove into the ring to try to attack Brian post match, but the Bulldozer slid out of the ring and returned to the locker room. Methinks that Brian Lee will need to watch his back from now on.

Dustin Rhodes & Lou Perez vs. Osten Taylor & Andrew Savage

Dustin Rhodes (Character) - Giant Bomb Lou Perez – Online World of Wrestling

Dustin and Lou had made appearances before, including the big 8 man tag with the Brigade against the Neighborhood Of Evil, but this would be their first chance on Pacific Wrestling Showcase to really show what they could on their own. Rhodes was very promising, the lanky Texan proving very much at ease in the ring and showing the good humour of his father, the American Dream. Lou Perez showed a lot of the technical polish of his brother Al, but with a particular flair of his own. It was Al who finished off Savage with a Helicopter Slam. Even after the loss of their leader Barry Windham to the dark side, it is clear that the Brigade are determined to carry on.

Brian Christopher vs. Curtis Hughes

Remembering Brian Christopher... - Classic Memphis Wrestling | Facebook Curtis Hughes, your thoughts? | Wrestling Forum

The young Christopher was giving up a lot of size and power to Mr. Hughes but wasn't going to let that deter him. He was more than willing to throw down with Hughes and was quick enough to dodge his shots while landing some of his own. He did well until he tried a spinning leg kick on Hughes, who caught him and slammed him hard onto the mat. Hughes then went to work on Christopher, eventually putting him down with the Cat's Claw (modified side slam onto the knee). A good effort by Christopher, but Mr. Hughes was just too much to overcome.

The Force Of July (The Patriot & The Eagle) vs. The Sin City Superstars (Scotty The Body & Reno Riggins)

Well That Didn't work: The Patriot | Ring the Damn BellProWresBlog: All Japan Pro Wrestling 2/25/1993 - Kenta Kobashi and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi vs The Patriot and The Eagleتويتر \ Rasslin' History 101 على تويتر: "A hot young prospect down in Portland:Scotty the Body.1990 https://t.co/NhzMQiNCvm"Reno Riggins – Online World of Wrestling

With their colourful masks and gear and their athletic style, the Force Of July have swiftly become big favorites with the Pacific Coast fans. They would be facing an equally colourful team, albeit in a much more garish way, in the Sin City Superstars. The new members of the Playboy Club did their best to confound the masked men, and to give credit where it is due they were able to stymie the Force Of July with dirty tricks and double teams. Their luck ran out when Reno failed to notice that the Eagle had tagged in the Patriot, and was shocked to find himself trapped in a Full Nelson. Patriot then hit the Uncle Slam and the victory went to the Force Of July. Don't mess with the powers of liberty and justice for all.

Steve Blackman vs. Buddy Rose

WWE cult hero Steve Blackman unrecognizable as former star makes rare public appearance alongside the Hardy Boys | The US Sunimage.jpeg.1fe511b9555a882f12fbacf5e2a5c6be.jpeg

With the end of Black Gold and the departure of Shane Douglas, Steve Blackman has struggled to find his place, both in the Army and in Pacific Coast Wrestling. Looking to prove himself, he faces a considerable challenge in the wily Godfather of the Playboy Club, Buddy Rose. Rose didn't seem to be taking him seriously at first, but soon learned that one should never underestimate the Living Weapon. Blackman kept him off balance with a fair number of well placed kicks and knee strikes, knocking the Playboy to the mat on several occasions. Rose went to the gutter to regain the advantage, hitting a nasty low blow on Blackman. Blackman did his best to fight back after that, but Rose was able to hit the Inside Out Backbreaker for the win. A tough break for Blackman, but still an important step on the comeback trail.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the LA Sports Arena, Los Angeles, on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, January 21st

The Gold Exchange (Todd Morton & Jerry Lynn) vs. The Sin City Superstars (Scotty The Body & Reno Riggins)

The Superstars came back from their loss the day before when Scotty pinned Lynn following a discus clothesline.

Brian Pillman vs. Barry Windham

Pillman's Light Heavyweight Title was not on the line but he still gave it his all, putting in a gutsy performance that the newly stylized "Widowmaker" Barry Windham had to fight hard to contain. This was an intense battle that went back and forth until Windham flattened Pillman with a lariat, following up with a Superplex for the win.

Bret & Owen Hart vs. Timothy Flowers & Buzz Sawyer

A real hatred has blown up between the Harts and the Diamond Exchange, leading to a hotly contested and long tag battle that went to the Exchange when Sawyer hit a devastating powerslam on Owen.

Young Perez put in a valiant effort against the enforcer of the Diamond Exchange before ultimately going down to the Cuban Assassin's DDT.

Pacific Tag Team Title Match : Coast 2 Coast (John Tatum & Jack Victory) © vs. Joe & Dean Malenko

The Malenkos gave Tatum and Victory the toughest challenge thus far of their reign, looking on a number of occasions like they just might take the titles, until Tatum was able to catch Dean with a Superkick to successfully keep the belts around their waists.

Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Curt Hennig © vs. Bull Pain

After the treacherous betrayal of his former friend Barry Windham, along with some brutal title defenses against Maxx Payne, Hennig certainly wasn't taking it easy on himself by defending against the resurgent Bull Pain. Ronnie P. Gossett's man gave him an hellacious battle, and Hennig had to dig deep in order to come out on top after hitting a top rope missile dropkick.

From LA.

Snow may have had to tap to Albright but he might've finally found some new friends.

The long awaited confrontation between Cornette & RPG leads to a brutal beatdown. The feud is officially on.

The Bulldozer might have just entered the wrong neighborhood.

The newest recruits to the Brigade get a chance to shine.

Christopher seems to be having trouble getting his footing.

Another patriotic win for the Force of July.

Blackman pushes Rose to desperation but the losing steak continues.

LA night 2.

The Sin City Superstars correct course.

Pillman is the first victim of the Widowmaker.

The Diamond Exchange get one up on the Hart Family.

Acevedo spikes the younger Perez.

Coast 2 Coast fend off some Prideful challengers.

Hennig must be especially sore after that match with Bill Pain.

Finally Santa Barbara.

The Undertaker puts PCO to rest.

Christopher manages to turn things around.

The Hollywood Vampires sink their fangs into the Southern Boys.

Cheetah Kid crashes and burns against Cyrus.

St Clair is too Tough for Cactus.

Pillman manages to avoid a Crash landing and retains his title.

British Steel and the Wild Things tear the house down to close out the night.

Enjoyed another week of PCW!

Awesome promo with Cornette.  I like how he said he hates guys who brag about their teams.

I really enjoy how you have everything planned so well.  You give us these great TV matches and usually give us a clean finish.  This is all possible because you know the exact pecking order of your roster.  You also keep the guy who lost strong by announcing how great they did against the leader of this stable or that stable.  I wish 80's wrestling did more of that.

Pillman vs Windham was the match of the week in my opinion!

Animal gets the win but Snow has gained some friends. I would love to see Severn and Animal go at it.

Cornette and RPG finally have the verbal confrontation we've all been waiting for. RPG and the Destruction Crew draw first blood. I do agree with Coss, the tag division in Pacific is freak'n stacked!

Bulldozer better get ready because the Vampires are coming after him.

Rhodes and Perez get a chance to shine.

Big Cat racks up yet another win. I'm enjoying his run here.

Two of my favorite teams go at it with the Force coming out on top.

Rose gets the win but I can tell Blackman is getting his fight back.

LA Sports Arena,

Didn't take long for the Sin City Superstars to get back on the winning track.

Pillman puts up a damn good fight but Widowmaker prevails.

Amongst the many tag teams, the Diamond Exchange continue to pick up huge wins.

Cuban Assassin follows his buddies win with another win.

Coast to Coast are legit!

Hennig is going to have a rough road as champ dealing with challengers like Bull. However, a champ like Hennig will no doubt get the fans support, night after night.

Santa Barbara,

I have a feeling Undertaker's tombstone piledriver will soon be the most over move in wrestling.

Look at that, Christopher pulls out the impressive win. That's a good confidence builder.

Southern Boys feel the bite of the Vampires.

Cyrus literally dodges a bullet.

St. Clair pulls out the always reliable floating butterfly suplex to put the crazy Cactus down.

Pillman once again excites the crowd. He's going to be a big draw with all these new lightweights coming in.

3 falls end an exciting night of wrestling. British Steel and Wild Things deserve a bonus for that performance.

The Lethal Weapons (Steve Blackman & Al Snow) vs. Brook Geraghty & John Palyok

WWE cult hero Steve Blackman unrecognizable as former star makes rare public appearance alongside the Hardy Boys | The US SunLeif Cassidy | Ring the Damn Bell

Last week, Dan Severn and Steve Blackman came to the aid of Al Snow when he was attacked post match by Gary Albright. Tonight, Severn was in the corner as the newly formed team of Blackman and Snow made their debut. The name of the Lethal Weapons proved prescient as they made mincemeat of Geraghty and Palyok. They seemed to gel instantly as a team, with plenty of combination moves that dazzled the crowd before Blackman polished off Geraghty with a running bicycle kick. It's tough to make an impression in the already crowded PCW tag team division, but the Lethal Weapons have made an immediate impact.

The Gold Exchange (Todd Morton & Jerry Lynn) vs. The Destruction Crew

Todd Morton shares his thoughts after July 20th - YouTubeHelp Wanted! Job Opportunities: Jerry Lynn | Ring the Damn BellDestruction Crew | Pro wrestling, Wrestling wwe, Wrestling superstars

Ronnie P. Gossett and the Destruction Crew were especially smug after their ambush of Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express last week. Morton and Lynn did everything they could to hold them back, but the DC Juggernaut would not be denied. It was only a matter of time before the Wrecking Ball took Lynn down and that was that. Gossett, Bloom and Enos must be feeling on top of the world right now, and who can blame him?

Owen Hart vs. Angel Acevedo

20 Years Ago Today: The Life and Death of Owen HartAutographed Cuban Assassin 8x10 Photograph. | EstateSales.org

The Hart Brothers have been having a lot of conflict lately with the Diamond Exchange, and Owen has been at the forefront in his feud with Buzz Sawyer. Tonight, he would face the enforcer of the Diamond Exchange, the Cuban Assassin, who was certainly not about to go easy on Owen. But while Owen has been well known as a Light Heavyweight, he was also a product of his family's notorious Dungeon, and proved himself to be just as tough as any of his brothers. He took whatever Acevedo could dish out and returned it in kind. An attempted DDT from Acevedo was shut down hard with a belly to belly suplex. Owen swiftly went up top and hit a Moonsault for the win. Clearly, Owen is not about to take any guff from any of the Diamond Exchange.

Brian Christopher vs. Bull Pain

Remembering Brian Christopher... - Classic Memphis Wrestling | FacebookBull Pain - Feel the Pain | wrestlingjunkies

The self-satisfied ways of Ronnie P. Gossett and his men continued as he and Bull Pain came out looking particularly pleased with themselves. They were clearly not taking young Christopher seriously at all, being particularly dismissive of him early on in the match. But Christopher had a fire in his belly and was determined not to be overlooked. He managed to land some staggering shots and was able to get Pain off balance on a number of occasions. Unfortunately for him, he got overconfident, and when he went for a spinning leg kick, Pain caught him and slammed him down hard on his back. Pain followed up with the Hangman's Drop (two handed chokeslam) and that was that. Only it wasn't, as Pain kept attacking Christopher after the match until Gossett called him off. There is such a thing as being a sore winner, Bull Pain.

Cheetah Kid vs. Crash Holly

Rasslin' History 101 on Twitter: "The late Ted Petty(the future Rocco Rock) as the masked Cheetah Kid,circa-1990.Cheetah Kid was one of the best high-flyers on the independent circuit for years before finding WWE Jakked (TV Series 1999–2002) - IMDb

Two of the newest members of the PCW roster squared off in what proved to be a thrilling light heavyweight match. Crash may be getting known as a tag wrestler with his brother Bob, but proved that he was no slouch as a singles wrestler. These two set a wicked pace, and the fans were on the edge of their seats to see who would come out on top. Cheetah Kid ultimately prevailed when he hit the Power Bomb to put Crash's shoulders to the mat. With the fresh crop of newcomers to PCW, the list of contenders to Brian Pillman's Light Heavyweight Title is getting longer by the day.

Lou Perez vs. Barry Windham

Lou Perez – Online World of WrestlingHappy Birthday to Barry Windham! | Pro Wrestling Universe Amino

After Windham's shocking betrayal of the Brigade , he has made no secret of his enmity towards his former colleagues. In this match with one of the newest Brigade members, he seemed to take particular pleasure in punishing young Perez. While the Ladies Man put in a noble effort, the newly aggressive Widowmaker was too overwhelming to stop. A crushing Superplex spelled the end for Perez. As if to rub it in, Windham placed his foot on top of Perez as he made the cover, raising his black gloved hand in the air as if to insult the Brigade. Clearly, his vow to destroy the Brigade is not to be taken lightly.

Fun week of shows.  I like the continued development of all the new stars.  Putting the Cheetah Kid vs Crash Holly allows them both to get a little shine with Cheetah Kid moving up the ladder.

After seeing the picture of Lou Perez , it is easy to see who is brother is.  Where they twins?

Windham was so good as either a babyface or a heel.  I'm really enjoying what you are doing with him.

Also enjoying all the focus on the submission title.  This is very creative and allows people like Backlund and others to wrestler and showcase the depth of your roster.

I think Owen Hart and Pillman make an awesome team.

Night One

Night Two

Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Curt Hennig © vs. Barry Windham

Well - if you needed a reason to check out the show... doesn't get much better than this.

I would be interested to see how Bret and Neidhart did work against one another... there should be a tag match out there with them where Anvil is with Owen and Bret with Davey...

On the other side - 1988 Barry Windham...Curt Hennig... about as legit as it gets with young up and coming talent who is THERE when you think about what they've done here in PCW. Bonafide stars anywhere in the country at this point.

Backlund vs Dean is also a match I would be interested in... two legit pros who could work the ring and the fans.

What I love most about PCW is how you've got a little bit of everything and some big time names doing different things. Brings out the best in the talent.

Blackman and Snow form the Lethal Weapons. Perfect timing as this will benefit both men.

RPG and the Destruction Crew are being built up well for their feud with Cornette and the Midnights.

Owen gets the best of Cuban Assassin but I'm sure there's a lot more to come.

Bull Pain wins the match and inflicts more punishment. He's one bad heel.

Pillman has a list of challengers coming after him. Cheetah Kid is at the top.

Man, Widowmaker is looking better than ever. He's knocking down the Brigade one by one.

Vancouver,

Anvil pulls it out, but Pierre came out looking strong.

Young Spicoli got some valuable wrestling experience from St. Clair.

Severn is in beast mode.

Golden Guns fire is put out by the Wild Things.

Backlund may have lost the CA title but he's still standing tall as Submission champ.

Hitman and Mad Dog have a chaotic ending. More please!

Kelowna,

Snow must have been all smiles getting the fall on his former partner.

Southern Boys get back on the winning track. Hollys are showing some promise.

Love that Sawyer/Flowers finish.

Add Cyrus's name to the LHW contenders list.

Fun fast paced tag title match to end the night. Coast to Coast remain on top of a very stacked tag division.

Hennig vs. Windham. Hitman vs. Anvil. Two dream matches! Can't wait!

The competition in PCW is at an all time high!

The Holly Cousins vs. John Kenney & Rory Freeman

Pin on WWF..back in the day

Although they haven't gotten too many wins lately, Bob and Crash Holly have certainly garnered a lot of attention with their scrappy, go-to-hell style of fighting. Make no mistake about it, they didn't come to this match to wrestle but to fight, and Kenney and Freeman perhaps wished they had stayed home. The rambunctious cousins made mince meat of them before Bob finally put the finishing touches with an Alabama Slam on Freeman. Anyone who signs a contract with the Holly Cousins had best be aware of what they are in for.

Dustin Rhodes vs. The Vampire Warrior

Dustin Rhodes (Character) - Giant BombDavid Heath (Wrestling) - TV Tropes

Ever since the defection of Barry Windham to the Neighborhood of Evil, his former comrades in the Brigade have been relentlessly targeted by Paul Bearer's men. For his bout with the Vampire Warrior , Dustin Rhodes had to cope with not only Bearer but also the other half of the Hollywood Vampires, Jimmy Lee. Rhodes did his best to shut out the distractions and focus on the matter at hand, and did very well against the fanged one. Too well for Bearer's liking, as he directed the Gravedigger to hit Rhodes with his shovel when Dustin went into the ropes, leading to a DQ. Both of the Hollywood Vampires continued to attack him until Brian Lee rushed out and , in an impressive show of power and toughness, clothesline them both over the top rope. He then stood protectively in front of Dustin, almost daring them to come at him, but Bearer called his men off and ordered them back to the locker room. They may have had the run of things so far, but it looks like the Neighborhood Of Evil have made a powerful new enemy in the big Bulldozer.

The Golden Guns (Todd Morton & Jerry Lynn) vs. The Suicide Blondes (Chris Candido & Louie Spicolli)

Todd Morton shares his thoughts after July 20th - YouTubeHelp Wanted! Job Opportunities: Jerry Lynn | Ring the Damn BellChris Candido - IMDbA Look Back At WWF Superstars - August 29, 1992

The team of Morton and Lynn have recently changed their name to the Golden Guns , possibly in an attempt to stand out more in the highly competitive PCW tag team division. They faced a stern test of their new resolve in the Suicide Blondes, who were determined to nip this challenge right in the bud. The Golden Guns kept firing back with everything they had, and Lynn was able to hit a flying Sunset Flip on Candido to get a hard fought win over the Knights Templar. An impressive victory that should help the Guns put their mark on the Pacific Coast tag rankings.

Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Jim Neidhart

Blogue de PIERRE-CARL-OUELLET - Blog de PIERRE-CARL-OUELLET - Skyrock.comJim The Anvil Neidhart Arrested and Other Wrestlers Gone Wild | Bleacher Report | Latest News, Videos and Highlights

Without a doubt, these are two of the toughest men in PCW. In his relatively short time on the Pacific Coast, Ouellet has earned a reputation as someone who backs down from nobody, as shown in his ongoing feud with Cactus Jack. The Anvil, of course, needs no introduction, having proved his credentials as the tough as nails enforcer for the Knights Templar. The two put on a predictably hard hitting hard hitting bout, with both men determined not to give an inch to the other. Neidhart dug deep to pull this out when he exploded out of the corner and leveled Ouellet with a running forearm smash. Strangely, he didn't try to submit him with either the Anvilizer or the Camel Clutch, instead covering him for the three count. Afterwards, Neidhart helped Ouellet to his feet and shook the French Canadian's hand as a show of respect before both men returned exhausted to the locker room.

The Force Of July (The Patriot & The Eagle) vs. The Sin City Superstars (Scotty The Body & Reno Riggins)

Well That Didn't work: The Patriot | Ring the Damn Bell ProWresBlog: All Japan Pro Wrestling 2/25/1993 - Kenta Kobashi and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi vs The Patriot and The Eagleتويتر \ Rasslin' History 101 على تويتر: "A hot young prospect down in Portland:Scotty the Body.1990 https://t.co/NhzMQiNCvm"Reno Riggins – Online World of Wrestling

This was definitely a colourful match, with the masks of the Force Of July contrasting with the garish gear of the Superstars. Buddy Rose was out with the Superstars, keeping an eye on his new proteges. Scotty and Riggins were not about to overpower the athletic masked me, so tried misdirection and razzle dazzle. They were able to get the better of things for a while, but eventually the Patriot and the Falcon had enough and called on their considerable athletic ability to start bouncing the Superstars around the ring with shoulder tackles and clotheslines. At this point, Buddy Rose decided to intervene, sliding a metal chair into the ring when the ref was distracted. Scotty picked up the chair, but the Eagle spotted it and grabbed it as well. Instead of engaging in a tug of war, Scotty immediately let go and flopped to the mat on his back. The ref then turned around and, seeing the Eagle with the chair standing over the prone Scotty, called for the DQ on the Force Of July. The Patriot and the Eagle protested that they hadn't done anything, but the ref was adamant. The Superstars swiftly retreated from the ring, laughing all the way, while the Playboy gave them a proud look.

The Destruction Crew, Bull Pain & Curtis Hughes vs. The Midnight Express, ?? ?? & ?? ??

Destruction Crew | Pro wrestling, Wrestling wwe, Wrestling superstarsBull Pain - Feel the Pain | wrestlingjunkiesCurtis Hughes, your thoughts? | Wrestling ForumBobby Eaton dead at 62: Tributes paid to wrestling legend who was one half of iconic The Midnight Express tag-team | The US Sun

This would be the first appearance of Jim Cornette and his men since the brutal ambush at the hands of the Destruction Crew two weeks before. There was much speculation as to who their partners will be. Ronnie P. Gossett and his cohorts didn't seem to be at all concerned, bearing cocky grins as they made their way to the ring. The Midnight Express were out next, and Jim Cornette immediately demanded the microphone.

Cornette : You thought you were rid of me, Porky, but I am like a bad rash in that I don't go away so easily. You aren't going to catch me by surprise more than once, and I found just the right people to join the Express in taking down your band of goofballs. The first is a young man whose short career I have followed with keen interest. He has faced some much bigger men and taken some beatings, but he has always come back from them, and has just the fire that I am looking for … Brian Christopher!

Remembering Brian Christopher... - Classic Memphis Wrestling | Facebook

The crowd cheers on the young sparkplug, but Gossett's crew all laugh, clearly not taking Christopher seriously.

Cornette : And the next member of our team is one of the most persistent and determined opponents the Midnight Express have ever faced. He was such a thorn in our side, we did everything we could to get him out of PCW. But if we could be the ones to get him out, we could bring him back in and that's what we've done. I called him up and told him what you idiots were doing to the Pacific Coast, and we made our peace. My mother's lawyers paved the way to bring him back in, and now you are going to have to face … "The Demon" Vic Steamboat!

Vic Steamboat – Online World of Wrestling

This announcement resulted in both a loud cheer from the fans and a show of consternation from Gossett's crew. Steamboat had not been seen in some months, ever since losing a loser leaves town match to the Express. But this was a different Vic Steamboat, with bold red and black ring gear and a previously unseen look of intensity. The match soon got down to brass tacks, with both sides setting a furious pace. Gossett's team tried to focus on Christopher, seeing him as the weak link. A grave mistake, as the smaller man was able to run the big bruisers ragged before tagging out when they tried to make him pay. The Midnight Express and the Destruction Crew both hit big moves on each other, ultimately fighting each other to a standstill. It all came down to a massive brawl in the ring, with Hughes failing to notice that Steamboat had ascended to the top rope. The Demon came off the top with a Flying Crossbody Press and the rest of his team held off the opposition long enough for him to score the pinfall. Steamboat had made a huge comeback and Cornette's new alliance had scored a major victory over their rivals.

Before he could force him to submit, the Sin City Superstars came in to break it up, leading to a DQ. The three continued their attack until the Force Of July rushed in and ran them off.

While I was never a huge WWF fan, I really enjoyed Brett Hart and Jim Neidhart.  Enjoying seeing them on opposite sides here in PCW.  Wrestling is all how you draw it up.  Both the real story and the Dawn of War story work so well.  Michael Hayes are Terry Gordy are always thought of as teammates with the Freebirds but they wrestled each other over 100 times.  Would love to see about 100 more matches with Neidhardt and Brett on opposite sides.

The Holly's get a big confidence building win.

Watch out NOE, because the Bulldozer has drawn the line.

Something as simple as a name change can work wonders.

Pierre earning Anvil's respect is pretty damn impressive.

Sin City Superstars pull out an old trick on the Force. Rose has taught them well.

WOW! First, I was surprised Cornette chose Christopher but oh man I wasn't expecting Vic to show up. It all pays off. Cornette is a very smart man.

Portland,

Going the distance with the Malenkos is a moral victory for the Weapons.

St. Clair vs. Buzz! Bring it on! Tony defiantly lived up to his tough moniker.

Maxx has become one of PCW's baddest monsters.

Nice throwback match with Rose and Haynes. I like this SCS/FOJ feud going on.

Backlund is the greatest scientific heel of all time.

Even in defeat, Jimmie Lee made a name for himself. Hennig is such a great underdog champ.

Eugene,

Cornette is quickly working wonders with Christopher. How did you think of this pairing? Genius!

Furnas has really gotten his power over.

AD said it best. RIP Perez.

Cheetah has had some momentum going but Cactus put a stop to it tonight.

If he keeps these kinds of wins up, Hall might be looking at a lengthy CA title run.

Barnburner tag title match to end the night. I popped when I saw this match posted. Looks like we're going to get more. Oh yea!
