Kadaveri
Chihiro Hashimoto Debuted in 2015, by 2017 had succeeded Meiko Satomura as the top star of Sendai Girls and still holds that position as of 2025. She has an amateur background and incorporates those skills into her pro-wrestling about as well as anyone in her era. She tremendous raw power/strength that makes her suplexes look especially damaging. In 2023-24 she's been out of the main title picture for a while, her tag team with Yuu (Team 200kg) is one of the best tag teams in the scene, and Chihiro is definitely the better of the two. vs. Meiko Satomura - Sendai Girls 9/24/17 vs. Sareee - Sendai Girls 6/8/19 vs. Mei Hoshizuki - Marvelous 8/20/21 vs. MIRAI - Stardom 2/4/23 w/ Yuu vs. Mio Momono & Yurika Oka - Sendai Girls 2/11/
Kadaveri
Mio Momono The best pure babyface of her era and even just that doesn't quite do her justice. From very early on in her career she'd developed a distinct personality that she incorporated into her matches brilliantly. She's an over-energetic little pest who does things like screaming her opponent's face to throw them off. Done by almost anyone else her gimmick would just be annoying but she pulls it off and makes you think it's just her real personality. She's also an incredibly athletic cardio machine despite not looking like one and takes some incredible bumps. Her feud with Mayumi Ozaki in 2023-24 came closer than anyone to the visceral and emotional vibe of the Chigusa Nagayo vs. Dump Matsumoto feud. vs. Maruko Nagasaki - SEAdLINNNG 5/5/17 vs. Takumi Iroha - Marvelous 11/3/19 w/ Yumi Ohka vs. Hibiki & Sareee - WAVE 12/27/20 w/ Mei Hoshizuki & Rin Kadokura vs. Chihiro Hashimoto, DASH Chisako & Mika Iwata (Elimination) - GAEA 6/13/21 vs. Miyuki Takase vs. Sakura Hirota (Tomoe Battle Rules) - WAVE 6/29/21 vs. Chikayo Nagashima - Marvelous 5/3/23 vs. Mayumi Ozaki - Marvelous 8/7/23 vs. Mayumi Ozaki - Oz Academy 4/28/

club
Brian Maxine I find it quite hard to put into words what I love about Brian Maxine, but here goes. We all know someone who’s an arrogant prick right? Someone who is clearly talented, but also clearly not the genius they make themselves out to be? The type you’re just waiting to fall flat on his annoying face? Brian “Gold Belt” Maxine is the best wrestling personification of this type. Everything he does just screams so well with this, from his wrestling style, to his crown and robe, to his patronising handshake. The WoS environment is perfect for this type of heel to thrive. Maxine’s generally wrestling in front of an audience that views letting success go to your head as a cardinal sin. The whole thing is cartoonishly absurd yet completely relatable. HowtobeaMark
Dick the Bruiser I can see this nomination getting a negative response and I do understand why. But honestly, I do think he warrants consideration. I think Dick showed he could be effective in a variety of roles whether it be bar room/every man brawler (w/ Bruno vs Ernie Ladd and Baron Von Raschke), a fun comedic worker (w/ The Crusher and Little Bruiser vs The Blackjacks & Bobby Heenan), a bumping and stooging heel (w/Karl Karlsson vs Verne Gagne and Wilbur Snyder) or a vicious heel (vs Giant Baba). I think he knew how to get the best out of what he had and was incredibly over with the fans and could evoke huge reactions. Was a master of super expressive big wrestling knew how to play to every seat in the house. HeadCheese
Shuji Ishikawa The Big Dog, a great overdog that has a really interesting variety of wrestling. Really good presence. HeadCheese
Sakura Hirota One of the best comedy wrestlers I have seen, there's a so much charm and enthusiasm in her work. Her work as self does follow a formula but it's still fun. Her stuff with the giant HHH champion is fun. Her impression and cosplay wrestler work is amazing. She might be the best at that kind of gimmick. She is so good at finding the manurisms and quirks of who she is portraying. She is also such a great underdog and fighter from underneath especially in GAEA. HeadCheese
Andreza Giant Panda / Andre The Giant Panda Probably going to make somewhere in my 99-100. From New Nemuro Pro Wrestling and N2W with Samson Miyamoto and various other friends as his manager Andreza Giant Panda! An great party wrestling gimmick. I have so many Andreza Giant Panda matches and moments over the past 8 years and it's still fun. It's a character. Andreza has even had matches against a parody Hulk Hogan and Stan Kobayashi. Ma Stump Puller
Don Leo Jonathan Kinda shocking that he wasn't a official nomination earlier. Don Leo has been held in great regard for decades as one of the best giants of his time, his terrific atheticism, and capability to play a strong babyface but a especially strong gift for being a heel, being probably one of the greatest big-man bumpers ever. Was also gifted enough technically that he could wrestle 30/40 minute matches without it ever seeming boring or out of touch, especially impressive since this was a guy wrestling in a time when dropkicks were considered a novelty. 50s discoveries have also further established his case since they show him in his prime having incredible showings with some of the best to do it, so we have even more reason to consider his case beyond some AJPW tours. vs "Tiger" Jack Moore (10/22/1954) vs Roy McClarity (01/24/1955) vs Verne Gagne (04/15/1955) w/ Hans Schnabel vs Argentina Rocca & Roy McClarity (06/10/1955) vs Lou Thesz (10/28/1955) vs Strong Kobayashi (05/02/1972) vs Mr. Wrestling (12/09/1975) vs Dory Funk Jr. (12/17/1975) vs Otto Wanz (07/12/1980)
HeadCheese
Kazuki Hirata TOKYO GO! A contender for best comedy wrestler I have ever seen. He's for sure best comedy/avant garde wrestler in DDT history. He constantly makes me smile. The Tokyo Go glasses gimmick is always so fun. He's so good at making other wrestlers look great whether that wrestler is animate or inanimate (Kazuki Hirata is best vs. Yoshihiko wrestler ever) or anyone. Toru Owashi and him have such a great dynamic. Fun when he gets serious too. He's amazing! I think he might make the 80-95 region of my list. HeadCheese
Kazusada Higuchi He's been pretty much at the good+ and above level since since I first saw him DDT DNA proabably 11 years ago. Mantaur Rodeo Clown
Jay White Inexplicably does not have a nomination yet despite being a fairly prominent wrestler over the past 10 years or so. Jay White exemplifies a minimalism that clashes strongly with current North American wrestling's obsession with maximalist. More spots, more near falls, more finishes, more crowd chants, more stipulations, more everything. Jay White has a less-is-more attitude that makes him stand apart from his peers, but ultimately makes him mismatched from his current booking and overlooked. A tremendous look, a good promo, a solid base for different styles of wrestling and an endless gas tank that makes him versatile as wrestler. He may simply just be too young still (32 at time of posting) to rank in the top 100, but he is certainly putting together a very good resume. Matches Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood vs Jay White & Juice Robinson - AEW Collision, 07.15.2023 To my mind, the best tag team match of the decade so far. Everything is picture perfect, every wrestler working in concert and combining beyond the sum of their parts. As Salieri says, move one note and there would be diminishment. Jay White is stellar in this match, phenomenally selling the fatigue of the match and getting the stipulation over. The visual of Juice dragging Jay back to a corner after a fall, and Jay selling like death in his lap is absolute gold. Jay White vs Adam Page - AEW Wrestledream, 10.12.2024 Any of their matches together are very good, and veer away from the trend of AEW matches in this period. They don't go for diminishing returns with endless kickouts. They don't trade momentum back and forth endlessly until any throughline is lost. Good, solid legwork leading up to a spectacular finish. Jay's smoothness in the ring is clear in the match, as is his ability to read a crowd and adjust. Jay White vs Kota Ibushi - NJPW G1 Climax 2019 - 08.12.2019 Just a wonderful, bombastic performance in the NJPW style, at the tale end of the era for this sort of match. Wonderful heel work throughout by Jay, probably the career performance up to that point for him. Jay White vs Juice Robinson - NJPW G1 Special in San Francisco, 07.07.2018. The match is great, but for me, this is all about the one spot where Jay White suplexes Juice into the barricade, knocking Jim Ross over. Apparently, JR had voiced his concerns earlier in the day about it. Before you know it, Josh Barnett is acting like a mega-mark, storming the ring to protect the honor of his commentary partner. Is it a work? Is it a shoot? I don't know. Either way, Jay White's reaction (planned or improvised) is pure heel genius.
HeadCheese
Arik Royal Yay, yay! One of the best wrestlers of the 2010s and still really good when getting opportunity in the 2020s. Great confidence in his movements. Great at being the overdog but, also great at being vunderable. A good face from what I seen) and a great heel. He's so good at finding the strengths helping accentuating the strengths of his tag team partners and opponets.
