That was perfectly booked, amd kudos to MJF, he stepped back into the background, took al the brutal bumps, looked like the fool, snd just made Wardlow feel like the biggest damn thing on Earth.

10/10. Had enough of the stalling but Wardlow looked like the biggest badass on the roster and the next AEW Champ. Perfect booking.

What even is going on

I thought it was pretty straightforward- MJF needing medical attention and the fans not giving a shit about it, not caring about his health, and introducing to the spoilt Long Island Boy the concept of consequences of words and actions

This match feels very clunky and slow, revolving around big spots that are not even that impressive

I mean, Jeff is still somewhat serviceable, but Matt... just ain't it anymore. That miracle tag run he had with Wyatt was the last time he didn't look like a taxidermied version of himself. Hardy Boyz in 2022 working with a tag that is known for having high paced matches and batshit spots.

Man, Jaff has looked ROUGH in this match.

His boot came apart and he was unsteady climbing the ropes because of it

It started off pretty rough, but to their credit they managed to pick it up. Considering the fact that Jeff lost his boot, and both of the Hardys have lost a step, that was probably better than it had any right to be.

Matt is more than capable in having good matches in 2022, but they need to worked around his physical limitations and a dream match with the Bucks would never be that.
