sek69
Figure its easier this way It seems obvious that since Raw is going back to 3 hours (give or take) on Netflix, they don't want to change the pace of the shows too much. It seemed like the show last night just stopped at 2 hours and there was still more to go.
sek69
Raw ending with Roman calling for the Wiseman only for the number to be disconnected was kinda brilliant in the overall story of "Roman keeps trying to do it his way and keeps getting left on his ass as a result"
Timbo Slice
Bronson Reed is such a perfect fit in the New Bloodline. It’s also the only move that seems bigger even than Jacob joining, just because of what the last several months have been like. There’s now only two choices for Roman: Somehow bury things with Seth? Or the Final Boss. It’s gripping shit, really.

If the KO defense is at SNME it would leave Cody without a match at Survivor Series and I can't imagine that happening.

El-P
Bischoff showing up at NXT next week. It pays off to be an anti-AEW podcast leech. He's also book on the next "Eric Bischoff promoted" MLW show. That's carny.
Coffey
My wrestling lately has mostly been ECW Hardcore TV on WWE Network on Peacock however I am looking forward to Survivor Series. I haven't been watching whole weekly shows but I have been keeping up with the Bloodline stuff. I'm pretty sure the first wrestling show I ever watched was a Survivor Series in the 80's, so it has a special place in my heart.
C.S.
Seth is so much better when he drops the stupid clown character and speaks and behaves realistically.
C.S.
Man, that New Day segment was an all-timer... The only thing that would've made it better was Mauro on commentary.
sek69
I was kinda digging the idea of Big E as their manager, but yeah that was a great segment.
Timbo Slice
The reunion, either with Big E being cleared or New Day realizing the error of their ways, is gonna be an Elizabeth hugging Macho Man-level pop.
sek69
NXT is doing a lot of interesting things, but Ava as GM is not one of them. I know it's not fair to compare her to her dad, but holy shit. She's at Erik Watts/David Flair levels of second generation dropoff.

The nepotism in the next 30 years in this company is gonna be insane. Also, gonna love how Uncle Eric gets some WWE TV spot because he's still grifting on his shitty podcast. Lately on an interview with "journalist" Ariel Helwani, he was talking about AEW was actually dying and that the TV deal was "hospice care". You'd think the TV deal would be humiliating enough for these guys but no. This is Trump level of post-truth, it's insane. The fact WWE rewards these guys shows that the pettiness never stops. Still, WWE is hot as fuck right now and NXT is seen, at least partly (the women side of the roster mostly, from what I get), as cool again. Running the ECW arena was certainly a thing (although so very ironic), but booking Bully Ray or Uncle Eric on your show that is all about youth and cool vibes, just to reward them for being an anti-AEW podcast parasite, I dunno. Leave that for RAW anniversary shows or, ya know, Court Bauer...
sek69
I can't tell if Eric keeps getting paydays for his podcast grift or because WWE still has a hard on over reminding everyone they beat WCW. Probably both if we're being honest.

sek69
Big E wrote something for the Player's Tribune, basically detailing his life story and the mental health issues he battled growing up. It's worth your time to take a few minutes to read. If it wasn't already clear, this makes it obvious why he's a great human being and so loved by everyone. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/big-e-ettore-ewen-wwe-wrestling

Blehschmidt
NXT Deadline so far.... A guy who wasn't even supposed to be in the opening iron survivor thing won it.... typical WWE nonsense. Why is Booker T still on commentary? Literally half of what comes out of his mouth is "Aww" "Yeah" "Man" or "Baby." He is fucking terrible. This NXT Underground thing is really dumb. A bunch of dipshits banging on the ring while we take down the ropes so this looks like what? Bloodsport? I actually like this Jaida Parker girl, but this is fucking stupid. I'll be back later for Giulia and Vaquer, but that's enough of that for now.

Coffey
Man, the future of women’s wrestling in WWE, judging by NXT, looks really bright. Sol Ruca impressed the hell out of me in Deadline. I know Giulia & Vaquer have a lot of hype coming in too but I’m unfamiliar with them.
sek69
Vaquer was CMLL women's champ, which didn't used to mean much, but the people running the company now have been making a solid attempt at making their women's division mean something. She had a cup of tea in AEW and had a banger with Mercedes, and her and (barring something unexpected happening) Gulia are going to set the new standard for women in NXT.
