flyonthewall2983 Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 That's what I was thinking. Quote
Grimmas Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 In this week's WON, Dave was again in "Nothing else makes sense" mode... though in both issues copped out of putting in "published" writing what he seems to think is the reason. It really comes across as a cop out. John Nothing else makes sense is not really a proof, because it's impossible to know every scenario possible to eliminate them. Quote
flyonthewall2983 Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 The new doc is pretty good. Only disappointment is that Vince wasn't interviewed or that some more of his big feuds weren't touched upon. Quote

Lanny didnt want Michaels or Vince on the DVD for some reason according to his radio interview and kinda wished Patterson hadent taken part. Quote
flyonthewall2983 Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 Maybe he was against a program with Randy as much as Vince was? Quote
Sidebottom Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Maybe he was against a program with Randy as much as Vince was? God knows, but I doubt this. A feud with Randy would have been huge for Shawn in 1993. Imagine Michaels vs Savage at Mania that year instead of Tatanka. Quote
flyonthewall2983 Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 In '93 yeah, but my impression from the doc is that he left shortly after he told Vince about this plan and was rejected, which would have been when Shawn was slowly gaining power and the Kliq was becoming more of a thing backstage. Johnny Sorrow Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 I have no idea what Shawn was thinking, but from every interview I've heard with Nash and Hall they really liked Savage. And man, that new doc is heartbreaking. Quote

I dont see why Vince was so against it. Yeah they said the new generation but so what you mean to tell me that a great champion from the old generation battles a top guy from the new generation do battle at 10 years of mania and Shawn wins? Whats so bad with that? I suppose they forget people that like Bret, Slaughter had been in the WWF a decade previously by 94 ish. I enjoyed the feud on the UK circuit ie the London & Germany matches.
