I'm way more interested to see how Meltzer rates the match than see that actual match itself. The wrestler he's a giant fanboy for vs. his WWE source, I don't think he goes less than *** even if the match is a complete train wreck.

Someone on twitter taking a photo of the Intermission sign on the tron and making a joke about how it's an upcoming UK PPV isn't a "hoax" but I guess Dave has to try and spin it so he doesn't look as dumb as he really is in that situation.

They have VOD/downloads on a lag after the DVDs/Blu-Rays, for reasons I can only assume have to someone's misguided understanding of how piracy works. Yea that one is really stupid because if the time difference in a pirated DVD/Blu-Ray copy going up on torrent sites and an mp4 download is like an hour. Less if it's just a .iso copy and not a conversion of the DVD into an mp4.

If you've never seen it, check out his USWA Texas stuff from 1990. Which is now all on youtube btw

Maybe if Bayley and Sasha Banks would cut promos that don't make you cringe half the time they'd get booked better. Or if they didn't act like fangirls backstage instead of actual professional wrestlers (evidence of which can clearly be seen on their Ride Along episode)

Why are people acting like Alexa booked the finish to that Raw match with Mickie? People on twitter were especially being stupid about it.

I don't believe you or else you'd have kept watching the Continental I put on youtube.

Because professional wrestlers want to win their professional wrestling matches. Why would the wrestlers not want to be on the winning team? Regardless of if they're going to switch teams once the next draft/shake up happens. It's not like free agency makes pro athletes not care about winning the games they play.

For all the complaining I've seen online about the Raw vs SD stuff the crowds have been REALLY into it. Last week on Smackdown they booed the mentions of Kurt Angle mocking Smackdown and even chanted Under Siege 24 hours after the term even started being used. They were really into it again on this week's Smackdown.

People are mad about how hard Kane is getting pushed but he's only getting pushed that hard so he can be fed to Braun. Do the people who think Braun should be The Guy instead of Roman not realize that if you give Braun the title then every challenger is going to have to get pushed as hard as Kane is right now before their title match?

Lio Rush made a really stupid tweet but yea it's been blown way out of proportion. Not nearly as bad as ruining a PPV main event by spreading the plague after you already got bad publicity earlier in the year from cheating on your wife with a fellow employee. As far as the releases go, I think Summer Rae is the only one who really got shafted. Summer very rarely got opportunities to do anything but when she DID get TV time she always delivered. She was great in the Rusev angle when Lana & Dolph Ziggler were putting in all time bad character work. Darren Young wasn't that good and was never gonna go higher in the company than where he already was. And I know people are gonna talk about how much potential they wasted with Emma but I can also see why the company wouldn't have any real faith in her. They did months of vignettes to get over her new character where she would have gotten a big push and then it was reported she was halfheartedly doing the Emmalina gimmick on house shows because she didn't like it and WWE had to scrap everything and revert her back. It's like if you got a promotion at your job and did a crappy job on purpose because you didn't like the new department you were in and were hoping to just get moved back down to your old job. They might just decide you're not worth the trouble.

Please tell me all the well known examples of people in WWE who aren't headliners & drawing cards asking for time off and having it denied because I can't think of any
-
Because most people never ask for it. If you're getting a good push you don't want to ask for time off and risk losing momentum and when you're not figured in and just showing up to sit in catering I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be hard to get time off but then asking for it might make someone realize they don't need you around.

This is a funny response to someone not wanting to do a job considering that for YEARS people online have been saying that wrestlers in WWE need to stand up for themselves and say no more often.

Shawn walking out & not working that Mania was the best thing that could've happened for the future of the company because otherwise Steve Austin doesn't work Bret there. I'm not sure who the hell Austin would have even wrestled at Mania 13 if Bret vs Shawn was gonna be the main event.
-
Why the fuck would you want that to happen? I hope Vince sees Bray's Sister Abigail bullshit as cursed and we never see it again. Maybe he'll even go so far as release Bray so he can spread his plague to the indies.
-
I doubt they even considered it because while Cena is still a big draw he wouldn't have been seen as something special enough to take away the anger at losing The Shield reunion in the main event. They had to do something BIG that would keep people who bought tickets from wanting refunds or being pissed off and shitting on the show in a GAB 91 type scenario. Angle was probably the one person they had readily available who fit that (no Matt Hardy does not fit that)
-
That change was because Shawn refused to job to Bret and lost his smile to avoid even working at Mania.
-
And yet Paul Heyman got in as a promoter. *Oh I see someone beat me to it but it's worth saying twice.
-
They both had their set formula for a good match and those two formulas just didn't gel. Hogan was all about getting beat on until it was time for him to make a comeback while Flair's formula was more about letting the babyface look better than him until a time limit draw or screwy finish.

Pretty sure they went with 5 on 3 instead of 4 on 3 because this is going to lead to a Survivor Series style match next month. Whether that is a 5 on 3 elimination style tag match or The Shield find two additional partners I don't know but it's the only reason I can think of they specifically bumped it up to 5. Also it lets The Shield be at a massive disadvantage so they can lose and keep the reunion going because if they reunite to take down a threat and in their first match back they take it down, what else is there?

It's disappointing how much the smaller territories get written off, by Dave especially, for not drawing huge crowds when they didn't have the population bases to do so anyway. Having a successful money making promotion for decades is impressive even if your biggest arena could only hold 3,000-4,000 instead of 10,000. Memorial Coliseum held way more than 4,000. So did Key Arena. Sure but those weren't their regular venues for Portland and Seattle like MSG was for WWF or Mid-South Coliseum was for Memphis.
