Whatever the hell is going on with Daizee Haze looking unhealthy
Blehschmidt replied to Bix's topic in Pro Wrestling
I've hated watching her for a while now, because she is constantly wrestling men, and taking high impact bumps. Not to mention German Suplexing guys like Brodie Lee for her finish. She is far too thin, and every match I just keep thinking, something is going to snap. -

Thank You. and as for thinking they weren't students, it was just something I had heard repeated elsewhere and believed. -

Since everyone here really seems to know their shit, maybe you can help me out. Does anyone know where Obariyon and Kodama, Chikara's Batiri came from? I don't think they are Chikara students, but I can't seem to get any hints about their identity anywhere I've looked. Thanks. -

To be fair, he probably didn't mean our as in his own, since he likely just straight up copied and pasted that from somewhere else. -
I've read this whole thread, and I still don't understand the Dave Taylor thing. Why was he there?

Punk came out to "Cult of Personality" which shocked me a bit. I am guessing most people here are familiar, but if not, he used that in ROH after he won the title on his "last night" with the company and went all heelish on them. Nice little nod. However, I was appalled when people on other boards I frequent were going "OMG Punk has a new theme song, what is it?" How do you not know Cult of Personality? Sure you may not know it from him using it in ROH, but that song is a classic. Damn these kids and there Justin Bieber.

Been watching alot of '95 and '96 ECW, and I have to put my vote on 2 Cold Scorpio. Worked well as both a heel and a face. Was doing amazing moonsaults and 450's and other crazy shit before cruiserweight wrestling exploded in the states. Could also work really well in a straight up wrestling match. May not have been the best talker in the world, but has undeniable charisma. and could also dance like a motherfucker!

Pro Wrestling Magazine Memories(NOT from WWF Magazine)

I still buy the PWI 500 every year. Not sure why, I know the whole thing is stupid. But I guess it makes me feel like a kid again buying the magazines. -

The PWI currently on the news stand has Cena on the cover with a yellow background, asking if he can stay on top with Rock in his head. (Not sure of the month listed on it) -
Punk's Promo Here it is, don't know how long it will last before WWE has it taken down.
-
and earlier in the show when Shawn Michaels said "Neither of us drink, smoke, or do drugs." Punk quickly added in "Anymore"
-
RAW SPOILER AHEAD....... Punk called Lauranitis an ass kissing douchebag, claimed WWE would be better if Vince were dead, then said it wouldn't, cause his idiot daughter and her husband would be in charge...and also name dropped NJPW, ROH, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, Hulk Hogan, and Colt Cabana.

So kinda like what Brody supposedly did for David Von Erich? (I think it was Brody) -

He could potentially sink Linda's next campaign Could he? When would the statute of limitations on any potential evidence tampering/obstruction of justice/whatever charges be up for the Eddy cleanup and whatever might've happened on the weekend of the Benoit murder/suicide? For latter he may not have done anything criminal, though. I bet he may very well know the details behind Dave Taylor and his wife showing up at the crime scene seconds after the bodies were found. I have nothing to add to this, but I have read a ton of the Benoit stuff on this board and learned many things I didn't know about the whole situation. So after reading this, I have to ask. What else is there about Eddy that wasn't in the official statement? -

I am actually facing the same situation right now CFCW. I've got all of my VHS boxes in the basement, I don't have a working VCR, and we are trying to purge stuff because we may be moving soon. I have all of the stuff I care about on DVD....but I remember the time and effort it took to get all of those, and I hate to just throw them away! I think I am going to allow myself to keep my master copies of Crockett Cup 87 and Bash 89 as "collectors items" and toss the rest. That seems fair....right? -

I would also nominate that stupid promotion that had rounds and a bunch of WWF midcarders, the AWF I think it was. -
I guess it's just not cool anymore. You hear about Scott Weiland or someone going into rehab these days and everyone just shakes there head. Where as back in the day, everyone was fucked up, everyone knew it, and no one said shit. I just always wondered about guys like Steven Adler. He got thrown out of Guns 'n' Roses for doing to many drugs and drinking too much. How much drinking and drugs do you have to be doing, to get tossed out of a band full of drug addicts and alcoholics?

I've got ten bucks says that "WWESucks" is one of the fat guys holding the "Corleone Still Rules" sign at the end of the video.

"Al Perez Fiddles, While World Class Burns" is the headline that has stuck in my head for years and years for no particular reason! I also had letter printed once, so I can confirm they weren't all bullshit. -
I remember RF Video advertising in PWI and the other Apter mags, I picked up the "Kawasaki Dream" show being a huge Cactus Jack fan, so that had to have been '95 or '96. The only other tapes I remember being advertised are the old "Lords of the Ring" tape with the Road Warriors on the front, and the apartment wrestling tapes! Also, I am 32, and glad to see a board not full of 15 year olds!

I am just amazed at the amount of people elsewhere who were immediately heralding RoH as the new #2 promotion in the world based on this seemingly half assed television deal.
-
Funnily enough, I just saw the Richards/Haas match described as a match of the year candidate on another forum! I used to be a huge RoH fan, but I just can't take the whole "this is super serious wrestling" aspect of it anymore. Not to mention that most of the people I liked on the shows have left the company. I'm also annoyed that my favorite guy left, El Generico just came off the feud of the year and is now doing jobs to Elgin and Bennett, whoever the fuck they are. But I hope this works out for them, because any wrestling on TV is better than nothing (although TNA is testing that theory) Though, I have to think if this fails, the company is dead.

There were also clips of Hulk Hogan being shown (amongst other things) while the music was playing.
