  1. As always, you write a glorious Ronnie Gossett. The Nightmares/Assassins feud was a ton of fun with all the extra masked men running around. The Nightmare's immediately blaming the other guy is classic. Fuller/Golden against Dundee/Barnes has been awesome. I can't stay I know shit about Barnes, but you've made me interested in seeking him out. Adding Ottman and Humongous to the mix is only going to make things more interesting! The Dutch Mantell/Brisco feud was amazing. I could picture Dutch doing and saying all of it. So kudos to you! Gotta love the Armstrongs feuding with anybody and everybody! Somehow you've managed to turn Bota the Witch Doctor into a credible threat thanks to them! Buzz Sawyer and Bullet Bob has been good shit. Oh Shit, LeDuc is gone and he may have taken Akbar with him! Looking forward to seeing more from Jimmy Valiant in Twin States. Fuck Yeah! The Candyman Lives!! As always, you know your small Southern wrestling feds and it shows. None of this stuff seems out of place, and it is an easy, enjoyable read every single time.

    USWA

As always I have to start by saying that you ability to take guys and turn them into characters that just work never ceases to amaze me. I am hoping I can channel a little bit of that into my new venture. Loving that you kept my DJ Peterson/Kevin Kelly feud from WWF alive. Just two big undercarders who I thought looked right feuding with one another. Gerry Morrow has certainly come a long way from his short stint as a lackey for The Movement! Loving Champagne, and Porkchop Cash makes an awesome opponent for him. Very much digging the Leilani Kai stable. Still bummed that I dropped out of WWF before I got the chance to do something with Rip Morgan, but you are doing good shit with him! Kai works great as a manager for that whole group. The Beauty Shop is still a fantastic segment. Your tag scene is always a highlight for me. I love the Fabulous Blondes, but the Sweet Ebony Express is creeping up the list of favorite teams quickly. Really hoping the Dream Machine's win doesn't spell the end of Dick Slater here in the USWA. Really feel like "Dirty" Dick has been underutilized in this game, and I was glad to see him getting a push. Hoping he comes back for some revenge! LOVED the Tommy Rich heel turn. It was great stuff. Tommy and Cousin Johnny are a highlight for me, and the feud with Rip Oliver who is also a favorite has been great stuff. Adding Matt Borne to the mix makes me more excited, and I can't wait to see where you take this one. Oh Man, Lawler and Funk! You can run this feud until the end of time, and I will never get tired of it. Terry Funk is in my opinion the greatest wrestler of all time, and Lawler is unquestionably the King of the USWA, so this will never fail to be the good shit! The table piledriver in '85 is going to draw some massive heat and I can only assume that Lawler is going to pretend he's dead until he shows up like Superman and whips Funks ass!!
  3. Let's start with the Russians! Rocky IV is a great place for inspiration on how too book Nikita!! and as Wahoo stated, using communism to invoke the Freebird rule is a great fucking idea! The dominance of Nikita is fantastic. His taking of the TV Title was awesome. Whoever you finally decide to have beat him (hopefully no time soon) is going to become a megastar for you. Ivan and Kruschev as some very talented back up cleaning up the tag team division and holding the TV title for him, makes a great story as well. I really like The Midnight Rockers and Honky Tonk Man as a stable managed by Sherri. That just seems like the perfect combination of arrogance to have a really good time writing. Fabulous Ones should make a great foil for both the Rockers and the Russians. You are doing a great job with Piper. Everything you are having him do is very much Roddy. The stuff with Slinker has been gold, and I can't wait to see more intereactions with Pringle. Very glad to see you keeping The Movement going. When I started that thing in World Class, I never thought for a minute that it would find it's way through nearly every company in this game and still be going strong more than a year later. Be interested to see what you do with Bad News when he arrives. A lot of good possibilities there!
  4. The feud between the Blue Stars and the Sullivan group was well done! Your Sullivan interviews are top notch and a definite highlight for me. Big props on turning the women's division into something here in Houston. Several people attempted it, but you've managed to make it into something and it's working. Liking the aggressive Wendi Richter as champion. Glad to see Dory putting away the competition. Love me some Funks! I'd been enjoying the Youngbloods as champions, and it's cool to see Mark carrying on. Still sucks that Jay died so young all these years later. Really like what you have going on here with a smaller roster in a one town setting. Hoping I can pull off something similar!
  5. Dig the pairing of Beefcake with Badd Company. Always felt Tanaka and Diamond should have been given a better shake than Orient Express in real life. Glad to see Gary Hart taking care of business. One of the most under rater managers of all time. The reign of Terry Gordy has been awesome, and with his brothers from Badstreet watching his back, I hope it continues for a long time. The building of Texas Red has been superb. Muraco and Snuka is a nasty team, but Billy Jack and Buddy together may be the strangest thing to happen in this whole game! Eddie Gilbert and John Tatum are two personal favorites and I very much like what you've done with both.
  6. At the risk of being murdered by Kevin..... Texas All Star drops Tug Taylor and rehires Alexis Smirnoff

    AEW All Out 2020

Thank You. Ever since those Botchamania videos became a thing, there has been a subset of wrestling fans who just seem obsessed with finding every little thing they can and then screaming "BOTCH" at the top of their lungs, or asking each other if it was a botch, and to me it is one of the single most annoying things in the world. To the point that I actively despise the word Botch now. Sure, Sabu fell and crotched himself attempting a triple jump moonsault. I'm sure these assholes behind their keyboards posting about it repeatedly could do much better. This Sydal thing is just another example. Nearly a hundred degrees out there, ropes are covered in sweat and moisture, and the dude is probably amped up to be debuting and moving a little faster than usual. He slipped and fell. Shit Happens. It looked bad, thankfully he wasn't hurt, and he got up and continued. Can we move on?
  8. Sorry Kevin.... Texas All Star releases Jose Lothario, Boomer Lynch, and Alexis Smirnoff
  9. Texas All Star would like to drop the following: Bobo Brazil Curtis Iaukea Crusher Hiro Saito Rocky Iaukea Taras Bulba Tommy Gilbert
  10. Oh..... Oh Shawn.... Did you see that match, it was so epic It had the stuff, that drives the fans wild. All the moves, you know they used them. Then they kicked out, at two point nine.....
  11. Texas All Star sends Jesse Barr to the AWA for Jack Victory and Johnny V
  12. Texas All Star would like to sign Boomer Lynch
  13. I feel like if the Arn podcast would spend less time talking about WWE PPV's from 2010 and actually talk about shit from when Arn was a wrestler it would be a whole lot more fun to listen too. I still enjoy it, but god damn, hearing Arn talk about Michael Tarver matches instead of discussing his time in the Stud Stable or something is a real fucking letdown.
  14. Yeah, my bad, I jumped the gun on letting Kevin make an announcement! Just wanted to start moving some guys around and get a roster in order. (Speaking of which, looking to make some trades, check the trade thread!!) I will be sticking to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and running as an affiliate promotion to Spaldoni's USWA (sorta like Houston and Twin States are to the NWA) Not sure what the frequency of my shows will be quite yet. Probably not weekly, but I am hoping to do better than monthly.
  15. I have Killer Khan available if anyone is interested!
  16. Texas All Star (formerly St. Louis) sends Leroy Brown, Bob Sweetan, Sailor White, and Moondog Moretti to NWA for Brian Adias, Mike Miller, Steve Simpson, and Scott Casey. The NWA is also sending Black Bart to TASW on the condition that if real life interferes again, and I am unable to keep up with things, he will revert back to the NWA, rather than be drafted as part of the TASW roster.
  17. Texas All Star (formerly St. Louis) sends Jeff Van Camp and The Mongolian Stomper to Twin States Wrestling for Sunshine, Joe Savoldi, and Killer Tim Brooks
  18. Texas All Star (formerly St. Louis) would like to pick up from free agency: Alexis Smirnoff, Bobby Duncum, Jeff Gaylord, Jerry Oske, Joe Lightfoot, Kim Duk, Mark Fleming, Ric McCord, Taras Bulba, and Tug Taylor Also pulling Frank Dusek from the retired list to use as my Promoter/Authority Figure
  19. Always enjoyed the Armstrongs on JCP, and really wish I could have seen more of his work in Pensacola or his later stuff like SMW. RIP Bullet.
  20. I'd been hanging on to NXT as the last piece of modern WWE programming that I gave my full attention too, but I think I am tapping out ahead of that match. The mere thought of all the shocked face two counts has me rolling my eyes already.
  21. My fear for Keith Lee is that he is going to end up in some awful angle based around him being "too fat." One can only assume that someone thinks that already based on the new attire. It also seems like the king of thing that would amuse Vince to no end.
  22. I feel like if they tossed in some interviews, and some video packages like some kind of a Superstars/Saturday Night hybrid it would be just fine. But two straight hours of squash matches with nothing else but a "here's what will be on Dynamite" promo is just too much.
  23. Good Lord....13 matches on Dark this week. The only thing of any consequence was Hager/Stunt, Sabian/Kazarian, and Hybrid 2 vs Janela/Kiss Now I came up on 80's wrestling television, and I still enjoy watching it to this day. But 10 squash matches (11 really, cause Hager squashed Stunt) is just too much. Dark doesn't need to be running 2 hours in the first place, but if they are going to do it, can we please get some video packages and some interviews instead of the same crew of jobbers getting squashed in meaningless matches week after week. I know Covid has screwed shit up, but this is totally unnecessary. I am loving Dynamite nearly every week, but Dark in this format is turning into a chore.
  24. I wasn't attempting to "dunk on you" whatever that means. But, let's just stop this here. We obviously have wildly different political views, and this is Pro Wrestling Only, not the place for us to discuss those views.
  25. This. 100% this. However it seems that Justin gets a little upset when we try to connect that with Mr. Trump. I can only wonder why.
