It certainly seems as if sorting out what is true and what is fiction is going to be the real issue with all of this. Joey Ryan's name is on that list, but literally nothing seems to have been posted about Joey Ryan, other than his name being on the list. Meanwhile, a young lady posted pictures of herself covered in bruises and told the story of what Jordan Devlin did to her. The David Starr stuff seems pretty cut and dry, and it looks like at least two other people have come out to back up the Cornette story. I've also seen several posts about whichever of the Crist brothers runs the training school in Ohio sending out dick pics and generally being a creeper. Which doesn't surprise me at all based on my limited interaction working shows with them.

WWF drops Pedro Morales to get back to the Roster Cap

Is this available on YouTube or anything? Sounds like one of those curiosities I'd enjoy.

Airing in Syndication all across the United States of America from the Allentown Agricultural Hall in Allentown, Pennsylvania the World Wrestling Federation presents: A funky bass rhythm mixed with a synthesizer beat begins as clips of all the World Wrestling Federation stars such as Andre the Giant, The Fantastics, King Kong Bundy, Sgt. Slaughter, The British Bulldogs, Greg Valentine and Tito Santana in action plays. It ends with Bob Backlund holding aloft the WWF World Heavyweight title and then cuts to the logo..... Vince McMahon: Hello Everyone, and welcome to the World Wrestling Federation's Superstars of Wrestling! I'm Vince McMahon and joining me at ringside is His Lordship, Lord Alfred Hayes. Ladies and Gentleman, we are just three weeks away from the biggest extravaganza in the history of professional wrestling, WRESTLEMANIA!! and as we heard last week "Superstar" Billy Graham has stepped aside so that our broadcast partner here on Superstars, Bruno Sammartino can look for some retribution against the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion, Bob Backlund. Lord Alfred Hayes: Backlund's mental state has become increasingly more erratic over the past several months, and the attack on Bruno's son David was violent and disturbing. We will have Bob Backlund here today to accept the challenge of Pedro Morales in a non-title contest. You have to wonder how Backlund has reacted to the news of Sammartino being his opponent, and how he will be inside that ring today. Vince McMahon: You never know exactly what you are going to get when it comes to Bob Backlund. The match between Backlund and Morales will be out featured contest here today. We will also see Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, The Fantastics in action! "The Black Superman" Tony Atlas will make his return to the World Wrestling Federation, and we have several matches on stand-by should the Backlund/Morales match not go to it's allotted time limit. Let's head down to the ring and "The Fink!" _______________________________________________________________ -Match 1- "The Black Superman" Tony Atlas beat Tom Stone in 3:41 with a Military Press Slam _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: OH MY!! Look at the strength of Tony Atlas!! Lord Alfred Hayes: He tossed Stone around like he weighed virtually nothing at all. With power like that, everyone had best be on alert for Tony Atlas. Vince McMahon: You can say that again Alfred! We'll be right back with The Fantastics!! PROMOTIONAL CONSIDERATION PAID FOR BY THE FOLLOWING: A lone warrior searching for his destiny. A tribe of children searching for a hero. In a world where they must battle to survive, they face a woman determined to rule. Hold on for Mad Max in his greatest adventure.....Mel Gibson.......MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME.....July 10th -Commercial Break- _______________________________________________________________ During the match we got a picture in picture interview with The Fantastics standing in front of a WWF backdrop. Tommy Rogers: Sunshine, we heard you out here talking for them Islanders, saying they beat us up because they were mad we got shots at the belts. Maybe we got them shots because we're a better team. Bobby Fulton: Islanders! Them Bulldogs never could beat us fair and square, and you boys had to jump us from behind to take us down. So come Wrestlemania we are going to boogie all over your butts, then we are gonna go back after them belts and take what belongs to us! -Match 2- The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton/Tommy Rogers) over The Bounty Hunters (1/2) in 5:19 when Fulton pinned 2 after the Rocket Launcher _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: All Right! The Fantastics pick up the win! Tell us about it Alfred! Lord Alfred Hayes: Tommy Rogers sends the Bounty Hunter into the ropes and catches him with a beautiful dropkick that sends him down hard to the canvas. Rogers then tags in Fulton who ascends to the top rope, then Rogers helps to propel him across the ring where Fulton crashes on top of the masked man for the one, two, three. Vince McMahon: A big win for The Fantastics, and before we get to our featured contest, let's head over to "Mean" Gene and Update! With the latest from the World Wrestling Federation, this is Update with: "Mean" Gene: Hello Ladies and Gentleman, and welcome to Update! We are just weeks away from the biggest show in World Wrestling Federation history. Saturday Night, July the 4th, live from Madison Square Garden and airing on Closed Circuit Television all across the United States of America, it's Wrestlemania! As we all heard last week, the main event has changed. Originally "Superstar" Billy Graham was set to challenge Bob Backlund for the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Title. But last week here on Superstars of Wrestling, Billy Graham relinquished that opportunity so that the Living Legend Bruno Sammartino could look for a little revenge against the man who attacked his son. So it is set, we will see Bob Backlund defend the WWF Title against Bruno Sammartino in the Main Event of Wrestlemania! I tried all week to get an interview with Bruno Sammartino, but he has gone into seclusion. I've been told by those close to him that he is spending time with his family, and since the announcement has been made that he has begun an intense workout regimen. We hope to speak with him in the near future. Also just added to Wrestlemania will be the battle of the giants! As the masked monster known only as The Giant Machine will do battle with this man.... Andre the Giant! We cut to Andre standing in front of a WWF backdrop. Andre the Giant: Giant Machine! I don't know who you are behind that mask, and I don't care! At Wrestlemania, I will show you and all of these people who the real giant is here in the WWF! "Mean" Gene: When that one is all over, they may need a dump truck to haul the loser out of the ring! Also at Wrestlemania we will see Ken Patera defend the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship against "The Hammer" Greg Valentine with his manager Bobby Heenan. Haku and Tama, The Islanders with their new manager Sunshine will be in tag team action against Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, The Fantastics! In another battle of the big man, "The Candyman" Ray Candy will take on Heenan Family member, King Kong Bundy! In a Street Fight, Tito Santana will go one on one with "Dr. D" David Schultz! and DJ Peterson will step in the ring with "Magnificent" Kevin Kelly, who is standing by with his manager Jimmy Hart! We cut to Kelly and Jimmy Hart standing in front of a WWF backdrop. Jimmy Hart: "Magnificent" Kevin Kelly is the best all around athlete in the World Wrestling Federation today baby! Just look at him! He's got the body of a Greek god! He can wrestle, and when he gets his hands on you DJ Peterson, he is gonna rip you to pieces!! Kevin Kelly: DJ Peterson! You can talk all you want about sticking my head where the sun don't shine, but when I lock these arms around your neck, all the muscles in the world won't make up for the lack of oxygen going to your tiny little brain. It'll be nighty night for DJ, and another win for The Magnificent One! Jimmy Hart: That's Right Baby! HA! HA! HA! "Mean" Gene: With seven huge matches already signed, Wrestlemania is shaping up to be the biggest show of the year. But my sources tell me that there are several more just waiting for pen to be put to paper. Hopefully we'll have more to announce for you next week. Until then, for Update, I'm Gene Okerlund. -Commercial Break- Vince McMahon: Welcome back to Superstars of Wrestling! It's time now for our featured contest which will see World Wrestling Federation Champion Bob Backlund take on Pedro Morales in a non title match. Lord Alfred Hayes: Backlund has been a dominant force although he has become increasingly unstable. Morales meanwhile has looked quite crisp in the ring since his recent return to the WWF, and his fiery temper can certainly be a match for Backlund's crazy! Vince McMahon: Pedro asked for this match after Backlund's recent actions, and it was granted. As I stated before, the WWF Championship is not on the line. The match will have a time limit of thirty minutes, and we do have several matches on stand by should we need them. _______________________________________________________________ -Match 3- As introductions were given for the match, Pedro Morales looked cool, calm, and collected as he stood in his corner. When his name was called, he raised his arms and looked determined. Backlund meanwhile paced back and forth and had a crazed look in his eyes. When the referee came to take the championship belt from him, he nearly had to tear it from Backlund's grip. When the bell rang, both men met in the center of the ring and Backlund immediately kicked Morales in the groin drawing the immediate disqualification. With a roar, Backlund turned and leveled the referee with a clothesline, then stormed over and reached out of the ring to retrieve the WWF Title from the timekeepers table. Backlund paced around the ring until Morales gingerly got to his feet, and then Backlund charged and smashed Morales in the face with the belt. Pedro crashed to the mat, and Backlund stared at his fallen opponent with a lunatic smile on his face. After several long moments, Backlund dropped the belt and grabbed the fallen Morales by the head and arm, yanking him back to his feet. Backlund held him in a standing position long enough for everyone to see the blood running down the face of the former Triple Crown Champion where the belt had torn the flesh of his face open, and then locked him in the Cross Face Chicken Wing. Backlund hooked his legs around the torso of Morales and dropped to the mat, and began repeatedly jerking and wrenching the neck and arm of Morales with as much force as he could muster. The whole time screaming "THIS WILL BE YOU BRUNO!!" over and over again. Finally a herd of referees and officials hit the ring and it still took them more than a minute to pry Backlund off of Morales, and when they did, he acted like he would attack them as well, but instead picked up the WWF Title and rolled out of the ring. From the floor he surveyed the carnage in the ring with a giant smile plastered on his face, his eyes opened wide, and his head slowly nodding. Pedro Morales defeated Bob Backlund by Disqualification in 0:09 _______________________________________________________________ -Commercial Break- As Superstars returns from commercial, Pedro Morales has a bandage wrapped around his head and has been put in a neck brace. He is being moved from the ring and onto a stretcher. Vince McMahon: Ladies and Gentleman, EMT's are continuing to work on Pedro Morales. We are going to take another break and will return momentarily. -Commercial Break- Vince McMahon: Uhh, welcomes back everyone to Superstars of Wrestling. Pedro Morales has been taken to an ambulance and is en route to a local medical facility. We don't know the extent of the injuries he suffered, but we will do our best to get that information to you when we have it. Lord Alfred Hayes: Bob Backlund has been unhinged previously, but what we saw today appeared to be him taking pure joy in injuring an opponent. This is certainly not the man we have known over the years. Vince McMahon: No, it certainly isn't. We are going to attempt to move on now. We have a tag team match, and hopefully we can lighten the mood a bit with the Scufflin' Hillbillies. _______________________________________________________________ -Match 4- The Scufflin' Hillbillies (Hillbilly Jim/Cousin Luke) over Barry Hardy/Brian Costello in 4:08 when Hillbilly Jim pinned Hardy after a Big Boot _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: ALL RIGHT! That's more like it! The Scufflin' Hillbillies pick up a win, and now we are having a little square danc...WHAT THE!! As Hillbilly Jim and Cousin Luke are square dancing in the ring, two men wearing black singlets and black masks with gold stars on them hit the ring and jump the Hillbillies from behind. Each man is clubbed in the back of the head with a forearm strike, and then the two men quickly focus on Hillbilly Jim. One of them hitting him with a bicycle kick to the chest that sends him into the ropes, and the other following it with a big clothesline that sends Jim over the top and to the floor. They then focus on the smaller Luke, each clubbing him with several blows, before whipping him hard across the ring into the turnbuckle. The two men follow him in, hoist him onto the top turnbuckle, and then both climb up and join him. What follows is spectacular, as they hit a Double Superplex and Cousin Luke is sent half way across the ring. The two masked men then roll out of the ring and head back away from ringside. Vince McMahon: WHO WERE THOSE MEN!! Lord Alfred Hayes: I don't have any idea, but that Double Superplex may be the most devastating move I have seen in all my years in wrestling. Vince McMahon: We need to get some help out here for the Scufflin' Hillbillies!! -Commercial Break- Vince McMahon: Ladies and Gentleman, welcome back to what is turning out to be a very interesting week on Superstars of Wrestling. Earlier we saw both Tony Atlas and The Fantastics pick up some nice wins. But since then we've seen Bob Backlund get himself intentionally disqualified and then brutalize Pedro Morales who has been taken to a local medical facility to be evaluated for his injuries. Then we just saw The Scufflin' Hillbillies pick up a win, only to be assaulted by two unknown men in masks. We are being told that Cousin Luke was a little shaken up, but should be okay, and that Hillbilly Jim is just fighting mad! Lord Alfred Hayes: Well since we don't have the slightest clue who attacked them, he'll have to hold onto that anger until he knows who to fight! Vince McMahon: Indeed he will Alfred. Okay Ladies and Gentleman, up next we have a debut here in the World Wrestling Federation. We don't know much about this man, other than that he is from Japan, and apparently he is being managed by one Jimmy Hart. So let's go to the ring for Kazaharu. _______________________________________________________________ A haunting, instrumental, Oriental sounding music filled the arena, and Jimmy Hart came from behind the curtain first with a big smile on his face. Following him out was a man wearing black karate style pants with white kanji markings down both legs, a traditional black gi with a red circle on the back with the name Kazaharu printed in the middle, and black tabi boots. An ornate mask of an Oni with a red face, black horns, and white hair covered his head as he walked to the ring. Once he entered, Hart helped him remove the mask to reveal long black hair and a face covered with the traditional red, white, and black kabuki style face paint. He also removed the gi, revealing that his fingers, hands, wrist, and forearms were all taped. -Match 5- Kazaharu w/Jimmy Hart defeated "Quickdraw" Rick McGraw in 2:58 with the Japanese Sleeper _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: My goodness, Kazaharu puts away "Quickdraw" McGraw with ease. Walk us through it Alfred. Lord Alfred Hayes: Early in the match we saw this Kazaharu digging his fingers into the muscles of McGraw's shoulder. Then just before applying the hold that ended the match he hit a beautiful thrust kick that landed in the area of the neck and shoulder. But this maneuver he used, this Japanese Sleeper, it controls both the neck and the arm and cuts off the blood supply to the brain much faster than a regular sleeper hold. A very dangerous move, and a very dangerous man. Vince McMahon: Jimmy Hart has to be very happy with this acquisition. Lord Alfred Hayes: Most assuredly! Vince McMahon: Alright Ladies and Gentleman, we will be right back with "Mean" Gene Okerlund and a very special interview. Don't go anywhere!! -Commercial Break- We return from break to see the elevated platform away from the ring where "Mean" Gene Okerlund is standing with a microphone in his hands. "Mean" Gene: All right Ladies and Gentleman, please join me in welcoming my very special guests Scott Casey and Johnny Mantell, The Gunslingers and Sgt. Slaughter! The crowd erupts as the trio of fan favorites emerges from the locker room and heads to the stage. The Gunslingers slapping hands the whole way, and Slaughter saluting and shaking hands. "Mean" Gene: Gentleman, last week here on Superstars of Wrestling the three of you came together when The Iron Sheik and The Red Scare attempted a three on one assault of you Sgt. Slaughter. You all asked to come out here and speak this week, so the stage is all yours. Johnny Mantell: You know "Mean" Gene, Scott and I've been tussling with these two Russians for a little while now and ain't nothing been settled. Back at Saturday Night's Main Event we had them beat, so they cheated and run away like the couple of red commie cowards they are. Scott Casey: That's right Johnny. That night they cracked me in the head with Blassie's cane, and ever since they've been running the whooping that the Gunslinger owe them. Then last week we saw them out here with the Sheik trying to gang up on a Real American Hero like the Sarge here, and we said Un Uh! No way boys, that ain't happening on our watch. Sgt. Slaughter: Iron Sheik! Volkoff! Zukhov! You bunch of maggots! This is the United States of America. The three of you and that turncoat manager of yours may think you can do as you please, but last week you learned a lesson. You learned that when you attack one American, you are attacking all Americans! That's why these men, The Gunslingers came to my aid. Because they don't like hearing that crap you come out here spewing any more than I do! So I want you pukes to listen, and I want you to listen good. The three of us are laying down a challenge to the three of you. At Wrestlemania, we are challenging you to a match. But not just any match, Oh No. We are challenging you to a Coward Waves the Flag Match! What that means is that Sheik you bring your Iranian flag, and Red Scare you bring your Russian flag, and if one of you three pins one of us, whoever you pin will stand in the center of the ring and wave the flag of the man who pinned us. But you had better believe that the three of us will be carrying the Stars and Stripes, the Red, White, and Blue, Old Glory Herself into that ring, and when one of us pins one of you, you WILL stand in the center of the ring and you WILL wave the flag of the United States of America while we stand and salute her. The crowd is going crazy at this prospect. "Mean" Gene: There you have it Ladies and Gentleman, the challenge has been laid out. Sgt. Slaughter and The Gunslingers against The Iron Sheik and The Red Scare in a Coward Waves the Flag Match at Wrestlemania! Superstars of Wrestling goes off the air as The Gunslingers drop off the stage and start high fiving the fans and Slaughter smirks at Okerlund and tells him he is dismissed.

As I said earlier in this thread, that is a stupid bump to take in a nothing match on a nothing show. It's a stupid bump to take period, but if you are gonna do that kinda shit, save it for a feud that actually has some heat and do it in front of people paying to see it for fuck's sake.

Nick Bockwinkel showing back up is certainly going to shake things up in the AWA, and I am looking very forward to him using big words to confuse Nikita if nothing else! Absolutely loving Landel as usual, and now that he and Percy have the One Man Gang backing them up, he can be even cockier than usual. Nice to see him invoke the cage match rule. I feel that it gets overlooked far too often. Cousin Junior (you'll be getting a cease and desist from Vince and I's lawyers BTW) has a nice little debut, but then runs afoul of The Movement. This was a great segment. I could almost hear the crowd booing from my computer screen. Loving Koko and Brickhouse as the "were not playing" guys to go against them. I have a feeling The Movement is just getting started here in the AWA, and I am very excited to see what you do with them. Good little win for the tag champs on TV, and it will be interesting to see who is next for them. Great Flair promo. I always enjoyed the rare Flair promo where he wasn't all "Nature Boy" and pulled out the serious "I'm gonna fucking kill you" version of Flair. You did it well. Hmmmm..... Olympia heel turn? That'd be odd.... YES! CHICKY STARR SHOULD BEAT MARTEL!!! Shit Piper, Olympia, and Martel against Madril, Chicky, and TNT...... I am down for that! I look forward to seeing your take on the Sheepherders. I feel like they've really never been used much in this game, and I think in the right atmosphere, they could definitely be worth a damn. Great Savage promo. Be very interested to see where he ends up in the mix. Ahhh Yeah, my boy Tricky Nick picks up the win over Uncle Ivan with some good old fashioned wrestling!! Then Nikita takes his head off with the Sickle. Love me some Bockwinkel, but I am not feeling good about his chances. Looking forward to the show in Winnipeg!

Jesus Christ, I can't wait until WWE gets out of their shitty nu-metal phase. This "band" is fucking awful.

Vince McMahon: Hello Everyone, and welcome to the World Wrestling Federation's Superstars of Wrestling! I'm Vince McMahon and joining me at ringside is His Lordship, Lord Alfred Hayes. We have a lot of action in store for you today as we will see Sgt. Slaughter in action!! Then from there, The Red Scare with "Classy" Freddie Blassie will be in tag team competition. Lord Alfred Hayes: Scott Casey and Johnny Mantell, The Gunslingers will also be competing in tag team competition here this week, and the very impressive young man, DJ Peterson will look to continue his winning streak when he steps into the ring. Vince McMahon: But up first Ladies and Gentleman, we have the World Wrestling Federation debuts of two of the biggest and brightest stars to ever come out of the state of Texas. Some of you may already know them, but if you don't, get ready for some exciting action, because Kevin and Kerry, The Von Erich's are in the WWF! _______________________________________________________________ As the boys are making their entrance, we cut to a picture in picture interview with Kevin and Kerry standing in front of a WWF backdrop. Kevin Von Erich: For those of you who don't know, my name is Kevin Von Erich, and this is my brother Kerry. Our family has been in the professional wrestling business for a lot of years, and we've been doing this since we were little kids. But now we've come here to the WWF to test all of our skills against the best competition in the world. Kerry Von Erich: British Bulldogs! Islanders! It doesn't matter who you are. Any tag team that steps into the ring with my brother and I is going to find out that the Von Erich's are the best in the world. -Match 1- The Von Erich's (Kerry Von Erich/Kevin Von Erich) beat Bob Bradley/Steve Lombardi in 5:11 when Kevin pinned Bradley after the Von Erich Leap _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: ALL RIGHT! The Von Erich's pick up a big win! Let's watch the replay. Lord Alfred Hayes: All four men are momentarily in the ring, and Kerry Von Erich hits an amazing spinning punch that sends Steve Lombardi sailing out of the ring. Bob Bradley charges at Kevin but gets taken down with a dropkick. Then Kevin goes to the top rope and hits a breath taking cross body block where he completes a full turn in mid air. I've never seen anything like it. Vince McMahon: You have to believe that everyone in the tag team division just got put on high alert with the arrival of The Von Erich's. Ladies and Gentleman, we'll be right back with DJ Peterson in action! PROMOTIONAL CONSIDERATION PAID FOR BY THE FOLLOWING: All You Can Eat Salad? Yep! All You Can Eat Pizza? Yep! All You Can Eat Dessert? Yep! When you want pizza from out, it's gotta be Pizza Inn! -Commercial Break- _______________________________________________________________ During the match we cut to a picture in picture interview with DJ Peterson standing in front of a WWF backdrop. DJ Peterson: Hey Kevin Kelly, I heard you and your little pipsqueak manager out here running your mouths last week. If it's a fight you're looking for Kevin, I'm not a hard guy to find. How about you and me go one on one at Wrestlemania! Maybe I can shove Jimmy's magnificent head up your magnificent butt! -Match 2- DJ Peterson over Rusty Brooks in 3:39 with a Shoulder Block from the Second Rope _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: DJ Peterson picks up another victory with that huge shoulder block from the ropes. "Magnificent" Kevin Kelly had better be on the look out for that one. Lord Alfred Hayes: Not only that, but he'd best be wary of Jimmy Hart's head coming to close to his behind when DJ is around. Vince McMahon: HA! HA! HA! -Commercial Break- As Superstars returns from commercial, we are taken to the set of "The Gentleman's Club." As before it is decorated to look like the parlor of a mansion, and there is a table with a pitcher of Iced Tea and several glasses sitting in the middle of it. However, the table is slightly larger than before, this time with six chairs around it. At the far end sits "The Southern Gentleman" Robert Fuller dressed in his finest white suit and matching cowboy hat. Behind him in black suit and sunglasses is his bodyguard Fidel. Fuller puts on a phony shocked expression when the camera focuses in on him. Robert Fuller: Wellll, helllo there! Welcome back to my Gentleman's Club! For anyone who hasn't been paying attention, and shame on you! My name is Robert Fuller, and they call me "The Southern Gentleman." The fierce looking fellow standing behind me is my own personal security, which I of course need to keep undesirables and riff raff from trying to do me harm, and his name is Fidel. Fidel, say hello to all of the wonderful folks out there in Television Land! Fidel just nods at the camera Robert Fuller: I Say, I don't pay the boy for his conversation skills now do I! Ha! No, I don't! Anyhow, anyhow. This week on The Gentleman's Club, we have some very special guests. As a man who came from many generations of greatness here in the wrasslin' business, I know better than most that there is nothing more important than family. So it brings me great pride to introduce my guests this week, Bobby Heenan and the members of his Heenan Family! "The Brain" walks onto the set and immediately looks around at the decor and nods in appreciation. Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid follow him dressed in track suits and carrying the WWF Tag Team Titles on their shoulders. Greg Valentine comes in third wearing a suit, and is followed by King Kong Bundy who is dressed in his singlet. All five of them take the seats around the table. Robert Fuller: Mr. Heenan! Welcome to my Gentleman's Club! It's an honor to have another gentleman such as yourself gracing my humble abode! Bobby Heenan: No, Thank You Mr. Fuller, it's my pleasure to finally be interviewed by someone with class and dignity. Do you have any idea how tired I am of talking to Okerlund! I feel like I need a shower every time I get near him! Robert Fuller: The man certainly does have a peculiar stench about him. But let's not waste our precious time on that imbecile. You have four spectacular athletes that you represent here, and I would like to make sure that all of them get a chance to be heard. Bobby Heenan: Let's start down there at the end. Four Hundred and Fifty Pounds of one of the biggest, baddest men in the whole world in King Kong Bundy, and this dancing idiot "The Candyman" thinks he has a prayer? Think again pal! King Kong Bundy: CANDY! You may be a big man, but you're not King Kong Bundy! I'm the greatest big man that ever stepped foot in a wrestling ring! At Wrestlemania you can do all the stupid dancing you want to do, but when I squash you for the count of FIIIVVVEEE....your dancing days will be over. Fuller fans himself with his cowboy hat and grins before continuing. Robert Fuller: Welll, I certainly wouldn't want to be in Mr. Candy's boots right now. But since I am a Southern Gentleman, I'll tell y'all what. If King Kong down there leaves enough of "The Candyman" that he can still walk, I am sure I can find him some work on the Fuller Plantation! Mr. Heenan, please continue. Bobby Heenan: Sitting next to Mr. Bundy, is a man who like yourself Robert has a family heritage in the wrestling business. He is the man who is going to challenge that musclebound moron Ken Patera for the Intercontinental Title at Wrestlemania. The man they call "The Hammer" Greg Valentine. Greg Valentine: Patera, I hope you are enjoying your time with that title, because when you and I step into the ring at Wrestlemania, you are going to find out that all of those muscles don't mean a thing when I take your leg apart. You keep saying that you are going to beat me with the Full Nelson, but you have to be able to walk to do it. Bobby Heenan: Then last, but most certainly not least, we have the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions, Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid, The British Bulldogs. Robert Fuller: If you'll pardon my interruption Bobby, I obviously understand the British part, but why Bulldogs? Davey Boy Smith: Cause we're mean and bad tempered. Dynamite Kid puts one of the Tag Titles down on the table with a loud thump. Dynamite Kid: and if you try to take what belongs to us, we'll bloody well tear your arm off. Fuller's eyes get a bit wide, and Fidel steps to his side. Heenan cracks a smile, which causes Fuller to crack a smile, and he casually waves Fidel back. Robert Fuller: Thank You for the education gentleman! Bobby Heenan: So if The Fantastics want to get beat up again, or The Gunslingers, or The Islanders, or even these Von Erich's that showed up flapping their gums recently. Come on down to the ring, and my Bulldogs will be happy to show you exactly why they are the champions. Now Robert, if you'll excuse us, we have some family business to attend too. Robert Fuller Welll of course! Thank You so much for coming Gentleman! Y'all are welcome back anytime! Valentine and Bundy leave the set as Heenan shakes hands with "The Southern Gentleman" and The Bulldogs and Fidel eye one another. -Commercial Break- Vince McMahon: Welcome back to Superstars of Wrestling! We'd like to apologize to anyone offended by the comments of Mr. Fuller..or Bobby Heenan...or any members of the Heenan Family. Lord Alfred Hayes: The British Bulldogs certainly appeared ready for a fight there in the Gentleman's Club. Vince McMahon: Well, if they are looking for a fight there are plenty of tag teams who would be happy to give them one. Like The Fantastics, or the Von Erich's, or these men...The Gunslingers! _______________________________________________________________ -Match 3- The Gunslingers (Scott Casey/Johnny Mantell) defeated Duane Gill/Dusty Wolfe in 4:54 when Mantell pinned Wolfe after a Double Bulldog _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: Oh Yeah! The Gunslingers pick up another victory! They've been on quite the roll here in the World Wrestling Federation. Lord Alfred Hayes: They certainly have Vince. You would think they must be in consideration for a shot at the Tag Team Titles, but at the same time they also have unfinished business with the Red Scare I'm sure they would like to take care of. Vince McMahon: Well, let's head over to the man who just might know, let's go to Update with "Mean" Gene! With the latest from the World Wrestling Federation, this is Update with: "Mean" Gene: Hello Ladies and Gentleman and Welcome to Update! As you surely know by now, we are just one month away from the biggest event in the history of the World Wrestling Federation. Quite possibly the biggest event in the history of professional wrestling! I am of course talking about Saturday Night, July the Fourth. I am of course talking about Wrestlemania! We already have four huge matches that have been announced for that night. The first is the battle of the behemoths as "The Candyman" Ray Candy steps into the ring against Heenan Family member King Kong Bundy. They will certainly need to reinforce the ring before these two massive athletes collide. Also announced is Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, The Fantastics stepping into the ring against the men now known as Haku and Tama, The Islanders. They are standing by with their manager, Sunshine. We cut to Sunshine dressed in a white summer dress with a black jacket over top of it, standing in front of Haku and Tama who are decked out in matching dark blue island themed attire. They both growl angrily at the camera as she speaks. Sunshine: For months The Fantastics were given shot after shot at the WWF Tag Team Titles and each time they failed to win those belts. Meanwhile my men Haku and Tama were dominating everyone they stepped into the ring against and time and time again they were overlooked for a chance at those titles. That all stops now. Because at Wrestlemania, my Islanders will make a definitive statement when they destroy Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, and the powers that be will have no choice but to give them what they deserve. Both Islanders make louder growls and stick out their tongues as Sunshine smirks. "Mean" Gene: The World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship will be on the line at Wrestlemania when Ken Patera puts the gold on the line against Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. We cut to Ken Patera with the Intercontinental Title slung over his shoulder standing in front of a WWF backdrop. Ken Patera: Valentine! Heenan! The two of you can talk all you want. You can call me a muscle head, you can talk about how you are gonna break my legs. But I've been in this business a long time, and I didn't become the Intercontinental Champion because I'm a fluke. So the two of you had better quit talking and start getting ready, because at Wrestlemania, you are going to find out what happens when you step in the ring with the strongest man in the world! "Mean" Gene: Then in the main event, World Wrestling Federation Champion Bob Backlund will defend that championship against "Superstar" Billy Graham in a match where the title can change hands on a Disqualification or a Count Out. Our World Wrestling Federation cameras tried to get words from Champion Bob Backlund, but most unusually he would not grant them an interview. As for "Superstar" Billy Graham, I will be speaking with him a bit later in the show as he has requested a face to face meeting with World Wrestling Federation President Jack Tunney. Now, this week we have two more big matches to add to this already exciting extravaganza. First up after both men have exchanged words these past few weeks, a match between DJ Peterson and "Magnificent" Kevin Kelly has been signed and will take place at Wrestlemania. Then after the events of last week, a Wrestlemania Street Fight has been signed between Tito Santana, and this man....David Schultz. David Schultz: I don't know who here in the WWF hates you Burrito Santana, but apparently someone does. Cause at Wrasslemania, they've put you in a street fight with the Doctor! That means I can do whatever I want to you boy. If I wanna throw you out on the floor and choke you with a cable, I can. If I wanna hit you over the head with a chair, I can do that too. If I wanna go out in the crowd and grab a fat broad and throw her at you, I will! I can do anything I want to you, and there ain't nothing you can do about it. You know why Santana? Cause you're just a good for nothing punk who doesn't deserve to be in the same ring with Doctor D. But if your lucky, maybe after I finish beating on you, there'll be enough left that you can still go pick some apples or wash some dishes or something. I'm sure you got about a dozen kids to feed. That being said Santana, and since the Doctor is a fair man. I'll give you one chance, one opportunity if you will. Anytime between now and Wrasslemania, you come out here on TV and tell all of these people that you're scared of the Doctor. That you're scared of what the Doctor is going to do to you in a street fight. You tell them that, and then you quit the WWF and you have my word. You have the Doctor's Word! That I will give you a job mowing my lawn every week. You're Welcome! "Mean" Gene: What a despicable human being. I can assure you that Tito Santana will do no such thing. Well folks, we have six big matches signed, with a lot more to come. Wrestlemania is going to be the biggest show of the summer. Make sure to contact your Closed Circuit provider so you don't miss out! For Update, I'm Gene Okerlund! -Commercial Break- _______________________________________________________________ -Match 4- The Red Scare (Nikolai Volkoff/Boris Zhukov) defeated Dave Allen/Rocky King in 5:14 when Zhukov pinned Allen after a Running Headbutt _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: Tell us about it Alfred! Lord Alfred Hayes: Big Nikolai plants Dave Allen in the center of the ring with a huge bodyslam. He then tags in Boris who charges across the ring and just devastates Allen by running that gigantic cranium directly into his chest. There's no getting up from that. Vince McMahon: It is a large head isn't it Alfred? Lord Alfred Hayes: Oh indeed it is! Vince McMahon: Ha! Ha! Ha! We'll be right back with Sgt. Slaughter!!! -Commercial Break- _______________________________________________________________ -Match 5- Sgt. Slaughter over Frank Williams in 3:48 by submission with the Cobra Clutch After the match as Sgt. Slaughter was getting his hand raised in victory, Nikolai Volkoff and Boris Zhukov hit the ring and attacked him from behind. Just a few steps behind them came The Iron Sheik. The three of them began laying the boots to the fallen Slaughter much to the chagrin of the crowd. The Sheik stepped over Slaughter and was about to apply the Camel Clutch when a roar went up from the crowd and The Gunslingers charged into the ring wielding steel chairs! Sheik and Volkoff made it out of the ring, but Scott Casey was able to lay a good shot into the back of Boris Zhukov before he could make it out of the ring. Sheik and the Russians quickly escaped to the dressing room as Casey and Mantell helped Slaughter to his feet. _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: OH MY!! It's a good thing The Gunslingers were still in the building! Lord Alfred Hayes: "Classy" Freddie Blassie was nowhere to be seen, but his men were certainly working together to orchestrate that attack. Sgt. Slaughter and The Iron Sheik have been rivals for quite some time. Vince McMahon: and there is certainly no love lost between The Gunslingers and The Red Scare either. It looks like the Sarge is okay, but you know he will be looking for some payback real soon! Lord Alfred Hayes: Oh, he most certainly will. Vince McMahon: Alright Ladies and Gentleman, we are going to take one last break, and then we understand that World Wrestling Federation President Jack Tunney has arrived and will be meeting with "Superstar" Billy Graham. We'll be right back. -Commercial Break- We return from break to see the elevated platform away from the ring where "Mean" Gene Okerlund is standing with a microphone in his hands. "Mean" Gene: Ladies and Gentleman, please welcome the first of my two guests, World Wrestling Federation President, Jack Tunney! Tunney comes out dressed in his normal black suit and tie to a smattering of boo's from the crowd. He shakes hands with Okerlund and then stands stoically beside him. "Mean" Gene: and now please welcome my second guest, the man who will challenge Bob Backlund for the World Wrestling Federation Championship at Wrestlemania, "Superstar" Billy Graham!! The Superstar comes from the back, but instead of his normal attire he is wearing blue jeans, a Golds Gym t-shirt, and a brown leather jacket. He slaps hands with several fans, but is definitely not his normal flamboyant self. When he reaches the stage he shakes hands with both Okerlund and Tunney. "Mean" Gene: All right. "Superstar" Billy Graham, last week you asked for a face to face meeting with World Wrestling Federation President Jack Tunney, and here he is. So "Superstar" the stage is all yours. "Superstar" Billy Graham: Thank You Gene. But tonight, I'm not out here as the man of the hour, the man with the power, too sweet to be sour, the former WWF Heavyweight Champion of the World, "Superstar" Billy Graham! No, tonight I am out here as Billy Graham, the man who is a little older, and a little wiser, and who has a whole lot on his mind. Jack Tunney, I asked you to come here tonight, because I have to ask you for a favor. I have to ask you to do something that Billy Graham "The Superstar" of old would probably want to kick his own butt for, but Billy Graham the man, feel like has has to do. You see, back at the Saturday Night's Main Event, I had Bobby Backlund right where I wanted him. I had him beat, and he knew it, so he hit me low and got himself disqualified to save the title. After that, I was fired up and when the WWF granted me another shot at Backlund in the main event of Wrestlemania, I gotta tell ya, I felt like I was standing on top of the world. But then a couple weeks ago, Bobby Backlund came out here and did something so disgusting, so appalling, that everything changed. I spent a whole lot of years in this business being a mean motor scooter, and I did a lot of bad things to a lot of people. But there are just some lines you don't cross, and you don't attack a man's family. Now I know David Sammartino was a willing participant in that ring, but beating a man in the ring, and what Bobby Backlund did, are two totally different things. A lot of you people may not know this, but Billy Graham has a little boy at home. He's only about ten years old, but every day he tells me that one day he wants to be the Heavyweight Champion of the World like his daddy was, and I have to tell you that there is no greater feeling in the whole world. So to even think about someone doing to my son, what Bob Backlund did to Bruno's son, I gotta tell you brother, it makes my blood boil. So Jack Tunney, and before you ask, you better believe I've thought long and hard about this. I am asking you to allow a chance for a man to get some justice. I am asking you to allow a wrong to be righted. I am asking you....to allow "Superstar" Billy Graham to step aside... and give his Wrestlemania World Title match against Bob Backlund.... to Bruno Sammartino! The crowd goes nuts as "Mean" Gene puts on a look of pure shock, and Billy Graham nods his head and pumps his fist at the crowd reaction. Jack Tunney appears to be contemplating the decision when Okerlund regains his composure and brings the microphone around to him. Jack Tunney: Billy....if you want it..... Graham nods his head at Tunney Jack Tunney: and these fans want it... The roof nearly comes off the Allentown Agricultural Hall as they erupt at Tunney's words. Jack Tunney: Then at Wrestlemania, Bob Backlund will now defend the WWF World Heavyweight Championship against BRUNO SAMMARTINO! Another huge eruption as Graham raises his fist to the crowd and they are going wild. Vince McMahon: OH YEAH!!! Lord Alfred Hayes: My Word! Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund in the Main Event of Wrestlemania! Can you imagine! Vince McMahon: We don't have to imagine Alfred!! It's happening!! Ladies and Gentleman, that's it for Superstars this week, join us next week when we will see The Fantastics, the World Wrestling Federation return of "The Black Superman" Tony Atlas and much, much....wait.....I'm being told...you're kidding..... Lord Alfred Hayes: What is it? Vince McMahon: Ladies and Gentleman, the challenge from last week has been accepted. Right here next week we will see Pedro Morales go one on one with the WWF Champion, Bob Backlund!! You Can't Miss This!! SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!!!

Gilbert and Beefcake is definitely an unlikely pairing, but with Hyatt guiding them they seem to be working well together. A nice win over to open the big Seattle Showdown. Chaos ensues during the six man tag, and like the snake he is, Jake Roberts take advantage and plows Burke with the DDT to get the win. Hart has put together an impressive stable of Japanese talent. Smothers with the HUGE high spot to bring it home in the FCA match. Seems like Tracey might be poised to be the top babyface here one day in the future. Steamboat/Muraco is just a fantastic pairing, and this one doesn't disappoint. The visual of the Dragon using all of his strength to suplex Muraco for the finish is awesome. Zenk's impressive reign with the title comes to an end at the hands of "Ace." Orton used experience and patience to put the younger man away. Good stuff. White Angel is out, and Texas Red is in! You have done an awesome job with Mr. Calloway, turning him into quite the force without veering into what he could become. On this night he takes Terry Taylor to task, and another new champion is crowned. Speaking of potential top babyfaces, here is another definite possibility. Lanny picks up the huge win against Yamada after learning from his partners previous mistakes. Great continuity. A three way for the tag straps, and Buddy Rose loses even more power in the Pacific. Larry Cameron and Bill Dundee is an interesting combination, but that combination of power and technique could prove hard to overcome. Bigelow vs Gordy.....Wow....what a main event. Two monsters, and two of the best big men in the history of the business. Gordy picks up the win, and rightfully so in '85, but you've got a great champion and yet another future superstar. Rotunda and Spivey is an awesome combination! The chaotic ending leading to the Loser Leaves Town match is a great set-up. The Freebirds creeping on Missy Hyatt is A+ stuff that I could totally see happening. This will be a fun feud to follow, cause if they push Eddie Gilbert the wrong way, we all know that man get real nasty! Texas Red/Barbarian.....Damn, that's a freaking hoss fight! Gary Hart's stable is a very cool combination of talent. They can certainly be a force here, and will definitely be a pain in the side of the other stables. Spivey and Rotunda pick up the win in the LLT match, and you have to think that puts them closer to a shot at the tag titles. Adams/Kendo is a match I would definitely like to see. Oh Damn!! Rude and Manny take advantage of the injuries to Dundee and come away with the tag titles!! Raging and Ravishing is gonna be a lot of fun on top! Gordy and Blackwell..... Man, Gordy is running through the big men around here! Love Gordy on top. Always felt like he could have gone a whole lot further in the business than he did, so enjoy seeing him on top here a ton! Lots of good stuff going on in PCW!

Lawler and Tully is going to be such an epic feud. Two of the best talkers, two of the best cheaters, and two of the all around best. I hope this is some long term shit! Really digging the Master G's. You have such a stacked tag team division, I hope they get their shot eventually! Bob Roop is a great fit here in the USWA. His anger toward Yatsu is perfectly in character and that will be a good opening feud for him. Freaking awesome segment with Rich and Cooley! At first I thought it was coming, then I didn't, then WHAM...it did. Heel Tommy in '85....I am excited. Nice debut for the RPM's. Another nice addition to the tag division. Brenda is awesome, and the Blonde's were perfect first guests. They are my favorite team in USWA. Give them a title shot!! The Vinnie vignette's are great. As stacked as your tag division is, and now we are down to one set of belts! The competition just heated up even more!! Six Man Titles should be fun. Skaaland hyping up his team as too good to be there to fight The Club is classic stuff. Looking forward to seeing who they are. Ugggh.....Tiger Jeet Singh is the worst wrestler ever. So the Battens have gone from being Southern to being British. I like it! They should continue this trend any time they go on a losing streak. Glad to see Dick Slater picking up some momentum. I hope he does big things here. Orndorff is going to be a huge star here, I can feel it. Looking forward to him getting more in the mix. Great Stuff as always. looking forward to the Hammond Center

and we hit Rage in the Cage! Loving the return of The Movement in the opener! Whatley and Conway running the distraction and then all of them reunited beating down Koko and Brickhouse is great stuff and a fantastic way to start the night! Nice win for the Bee's as Embry and his new partners streak ends at 1! Oympia and Honky go the distance, and this is a feud I can get behind! Piper, Mulligan, and Kendall pick up a nice win over the Pringle Dynasty, and just like that the Irwins are kicked to the curb. Percy doesn't tolerate losers!! Piper with a beautiful bit of interference costs Madril and Chicky the belts. Love that finish! Then The Sheepherders arrive and decimate the R'n'R's! Man, a whole lot of animosity and future match ups coming out of this one. Great stuff!! Richter picks up the win without the Captain at her side! Savage defeats the Link, or maybe the Link defeated himself, either way Elizabeth is safe! Be interesting to see if Savage moves on, or if Link keeps coming for Liz. Hogan picks up the win over Jumbo, and they pay each other the respect Brother! Jumbo dumps Fuji, and a potential new babyface is born. Oh man....prayers for Buddy, things don't look good. That no class Flair using the swears is just low. Oh!! The One Man Gang!! Well that will teach Flair to badmouth injured people!! Thank goodness for the Tylenol!! Budrow Retains!! Five Stars!!!! Apparently Hall and Hennig weren't kidding about a weakness as Hall pins Kruschev and they win the Tag Belts!! This probably won't go over well with Nikita and Paul Jones. Welllll….Hello Mr. Bockwinkel!! This should make things interesting. As expected, the main event is a knock down, drag out brawl, and thanks to some timely brawling on the floor, Nikita gets the best of a distracted Hansen. I still don't feel like this one is over. Nikita has challengers crawling out of the woodwork now. Hansen will want another shot, you know Brody is going to take a crack. Piper had words with him, now Bockwinkel is in the picture. Savage will want in the picture, and you can never forget about the Hulkster! The title scene here in the AWA is poised to explode in a big way. Great Stuff Gene. Awesome show that sets up a ton of future angles and so many possible directions.
-
Be interesting to see who the R'n'R Express might have as back up. I hope I get the AWA Board Game for my birthday!! Great promo's from Percy and the gang as always. Buddy wins promo of the year for sure if we had voting for that. Awesome debut for Parsons and Slick. Already liking where this is headed, and Koko is the perfect guy to play the other side of it. The madder Savage gets, the less I like Link's chances. You are doing great work with Randy so far. A weakness in Kruschev? This could be interesting. Martel shows up and takes the TV Title from Olympia. Boo. Embry finds a new partner and a win. That's a pretty good start!! Loser Lody!! Nikita better be careful. That's a guy he may not be able to run over. Oh man, Hogan runs over Sika, but then Jumbo lays down the beating. Not only to Hogan, but to Albano too!! Well, if you hurt his friends, and you hurt his pride, he's gotta be a man, he can't let it slide....

WWF sends Shaska Whatley and Tiger Conway Jr to the AWA for Bill Irwin and Scott Irwin

The reign of Blanchard is in it's infancy, and I am already loving it. I hope Tully has a long and glorious reign that is a pain in Jarrett's ass!! Digging Norvell's new gimmick, and thinking he'll be a fine addition to the babyface ranks here in the USWA. Glad to see Big John kicking ass and I'm excited for him to show who the real giant is around these parts. Afi better beware!! Liking the Fuller/Adias/Young trio, but they are about to have their hands full with the Armstrongs, especially now that Brad is in the mix. This will make for a nice feud with a ton of match combinations. So glad to see Martel out of the TV Title scene. Even though I am not a Rick fan, I feel he should be competing at the top of the card, and I think this will give more midcard folk an opportunity to compete for some gold. St. Clair makes a great champ with Thornton as his mouthpiece. Mike George and Steve O...okay, you've made me a believer with your tag team making skills! Looking forward to seeing who The Elite will be! Grapplers/Karachi Vice should be a nice hard hitting tag team feud for the belts. Go Grapplers!! Man, I don't like Carlos Colon at all, but Tiger Jeet Singh may be my least favorite wrestler ever. I hope the tapes of that match get as lost as the Blanchard/Von Erich title change!! Vinnie Valentino! Man, that guy has been sitting in the free agent pool for ages. If you make this work, you can truly make a star out of anybody!! Glad to see Rip Oliver pick up another win. He'd be a great challenger for St. Clair. All Right!! Dick Slater!!! and he wants to beat up Colon! Man, Dick Slater just became one of my favorite guys in the USWA!!! Spike Huber makes quite the impact on Lightfoot and picks up a big win. Liking the construction gimmick. Again, you really make the most of everyone. Looking forward to seeing what route you go with Orndorff. So many possibilities. Great show as always man. You always keep your shows fresh, and your talent with something to do. It always amazes me!

After the dastardly attack by World Wrestling Federation Champion Bob Backlund on his son David last week, Bruno Sammartino will not be joining us. Since last week we have learned that David received several stitches to close the laceration on his forehead, and that there was damage done to his arm, but we don't know the full severity of that injury. The Sammartino family has chosen to keep the condition of David guarded, and we will respect their privacy. Lord Alfred Hayes: It is my understanding that after the events of last week World Wrestling Federation President Jack Tunney levied a fine of Ten Thousand Dollars on WWF Champion Bob Backlund for perpetuating that heinous assault. Vince McMahon: He's lucky that is all he got. But, the show must go on, so in action this week we will have Pedro Morales! "Magnificent" Kevin Kelly with his manager Jimmy Hart! Then from there we will see Tito Santana!! Lord Alfred Hayes: The Islanders with their new attitude and their new manager Sunshine will join us today, and the challenger for the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania, "Superstar" Billy Graham will join us for a very special interview. Vince McMahon: But up first, we are going to get a look at the monstrous masked man who stood nearly nose to nose with Andre the Giant just two weeks ago. Let's head to the ring for The Giant Machine. _______________________________________________________________ -Match 1- The Giant Machine beat Duane Gill in 1:08 with a Leg Drop _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: OH MY!!! Tell us about it...Alfred. Lord Alfred Hayes: This Giant Machine hit Gill with several clubbing shots to the back. Then lifted him into the air for a body slam, walked him around the ring like he weighed nothing and then planted him down hard to the canvas. Then he propelled himself off the ropes and got incredible height before crashing down with a big leg drop that secured the victory. Vince McMahon: We don't know why this big man is coming after Andre, but if he can perform like that against The Giant, Andre may have some competition on his hands! We'll be right back! PROMOTIONAL CONSIDERATION PAID FOR BY THE FOLLOWING: Whether it's the Roast Beef, the Curly Fries, an Uncle Alligator meal, or the Endless Salad Bar, it's gotta be RAX! All the Right Stuff! RAX, Fast Food With Style! -Commercial Break- _______________________________________________________________ During the match a picture in picture interview was played. Jimmy Hart: YEAH BABY! Me and Sunshine might be splitsville, but "Magnificent" Kevin Kelly knew which side was going to be the winning team! HA! HA! HA! Kevin Kelly: DJ Peterson! You may think you're hot stuff with your big muscles and all of these people cheering for you. But what you aren't is Magnificent. So you'd best watch out, cause Kevin Kelly is coming for you. -Match 2- "Magnificent" Kevin Kelly over Mario Mancini in 4:11 by submission with the Sleeperhold _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: A big win for "Magnificent" Kevin Kelly, and it would appear that he has one DJ Peterson in his sights! Lord Alfred Hayes: They are both up and coming superstars here in the World Wrestling Federation. If they were to battle, the winner would certainly be elevated into the upper echelon. Vince McMahon: Indeed they would Alfred. Let's head over now to "Mean" Gene and a special interview with "Superstar" Billy Graham! We cut to the elevated platform away from the ring where we see "Mean" Gene Okerlund standing with a microphone in his hands. "Mean" Gene: Ladies and Gentleman, if you would, please join me in welcoming the man who will challenge Bob Backlund for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. "Superstar" Billy Graham!! "Superstar" comes out to a huge ovation and stops several times to slap hands and flex his muscles for the crowd. He finally gets to the stage and Okerlund begins. "Mean" Gene: All right, "Superstar" Billy Graham, you are the man who will challenge Bob Backlund for the WWF Title at Wrestlemania. It has become increasingly apparent that Backlund is becoming inceasingly more erratic as of late. "Superstar" Billy Graham: There's no need to mince words Gene. Bob Backlund has gone crazy as a loon. He's off his rocker. He's certifiable if you will. "Mean" Gene: Well, I'm glad you said it. Last week we saw him cross a line and brutally assault David Sammartino, which led to hospitalization for David, and led to WWF President Jack Tunney fining Bob Backlund the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars. "Superstar" Billy Graham: You know Gene, the wrestling business is a dangerous place. When you step into that ring, you always know there is a chance you could get hurt and you could get hurt real bad. But what Backlund did last week. Gene, you just don't do that to a man. You don't do that to a man's family. I've been doing a lot of thinking Gene. A lot of thinking. "Mean" Gene: About what Billy? "Superstar" Billy Graham: Jack Tunney! I know you're listening brother. I need you to meet me here next week. We have something to discuss. Gene. I'll see you next week. "Superstar" heads toward the dressing room leaving a baffled Gene holding the microphone, and a confused crowd mostly silent as we head to commercial. -Commercial Break- Vince McMahon: Welcome back to Superstars of Wrestling! Before the break we saw a very subdued "Superstar" Billy Graham call for WWF President Jack Tunney to meet him face to face here on Superstars next week. What do you think that could be about Alfred? Lord Alfred Hayes: I hate to even venture a guess. Graham certainly didn't seem himself today, so I'm not sure what he has on his mind. Vince McMahon: I suppose we will have to wait and see what happens next week. For now, let's head down to the ring where Tito Santana is set for action! _______________________________________________________________ -Match 3- Tito Santana defeated Frank Williams in 4:18 with a Flying Forearm As Santana was having his hand raised by the referee after his victory, "Dr. D" David Schultz slid into the ring behind him and nailed him with a knee to the back. The momentum of the blow sent Santana sailing out of the ring and to the floor. Schultz followed him out and used one of the cables from a camera and began to choke the life out of Santana, until a swarm of refs and officials came to ringside and pulled him off. _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: SOMEONE GET HIM OUT OF THERE!! Lord Alfred Hayes: Now this Schultz is shoving officials and referee's on his way out of the arena. Apparently he isn't concerned about a fine like the one Backlund received. Vince McMahon: He'd better be concerned about what will happen when he faces Tito Santana one on one. You know Tito is going to want some revenge. Lord Alfred Hayes: Oh, he most assuredly will. This is guaranteed to be quite a donnybrook when it occurs. -Commercial Break- Vince McMahon: Welcome back to Superstars of Wrestling! Up next we are going to see The Islanders along with their new manager, Sunshine. However just before we came back on air we were given a memo from Sunshine stating that King Tonga is now to be called Haku, and the Tonga Kid is now to be called Tama. Apparently these are their traditional island warrior names and they know longer wish to be referred to by anything else. So we will respect their wishes. _______________________________________________________________ -Match 4- The Islanders (Haku/Tama) w/Sunshine defeated Barry Hardy/Brian Costello in 2:38 when Tama pinned Hardy after a Top Rope Splash. _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: Oh My! An all out assault from The Islanders! Tell us about it Alfred!! Lord Alfred Hayes: The moment the bell rang, Haku and Tama pounced on the opponents and just savaged them with chops and kicks. After that, Haku beat Hardy senseless before flattening him with a reverse thrust kick. He then tagged in Tama who sailed half way across the ring and crashed down on the fallen man with a brutal splash. There was no getting up from that one. Vince McMahon: Indeed Alfred. That official could have counted to a thousand. This new attitude for The Islanders is going to be bad news for the entire tag team division here in the World Wrestling Federation. Lord Alfred Hayes: It most certainly is. The Fantastics have already felt the brunt of it. You have to wonder who will be next. Vince McMahon: Ladies and Gentleman, we'll be right back with our feature contest involving former WWF Champion, Pedro Morales! Don't go away! -Commercial Break- _______________________________________________________________ -Match 5- Pedro Morales over The Bounty Hunter in 4:49 by sunbmission with The Boston Crab. After the match Morales asked for the house microphone. Pedro Morales: Bob Backlund! You and I used to be friends, compadres, but now you are acting like a maniac and I don't like it. I know I haven't been back here in the WWF long enough to earn a shot at the WWF Championship, but I still want a shot at kicking your butt! So if you have the guts Backlund, how about picking on someone your own size! _______________________________________________________________ Vince McMahon: All Right!! Pedro Morales calling out Bob Backlund and he doesn't want a title match, he wants a good old fashioned fight Alfred!! Lord Alfred Hayes: Morales and Backlund once held the WWF Tag Team Titles together, so these two men know one another very well. Pedro obviously doesn't like the changes he is seeing in his old partner. If Backlund accepts this match, it would be quite the contest. Vince McMahon: Indeed it would Alfred. Right now, let's head over to Update with "Mean" Gene! With the latest from the World Wrestling Federation, this is Update with: "Mean" Gene: Hello Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to Update! We are just five weeks away from what is shaping up to be the biggest event in the history of professional wrestling. Other companies may have parades, and they may throw bashes, but I assure you there will only be one Wrestlemania. We already know that on that night we will see World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion Bob Backlund defend that title against "Superstar" Billy Graham in a match where the Championship can change hands on a Disqualification or a Count Out. However as we saw earlier this evening, Billy Graham has asked for WWF President Jack Tunney to personally meet him here next week on Superstars of Wrestling. What does the "Superstar" want to discuss? We don't know. But what I do know is that Jack Tunney will be in attendance! Word has come down from his office that he will be with us, live, next week on Superstars. Also, as we announced last week we will see a battle of the super heavyweights at Wrestlemania. The four hundred and fifty plus pound King Kong Bundy along with his manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan will meet the three hundred and fifty pound "Candyman" Ray Candy. "The Candyman" had these comments! We cut to "The Candyman" Ray Candy standing in front of a WWF backdrop. He is dressed in his candy cane striped tights, and his red vest. He has a big smile on his face as the interview begins. Ray Candy: King Kong Bundy! You still sour over what happened at the battle royal on Saturday Night's Main Event? You still mad cause "The Candyman" came out and danced during your match and it was SOOOO sweet! Well let me tell you something Ding Dong Crunchy! At Wrestlemania, when "The Candyman" hits you with the Chocolate Drop, I am going to get a big ole PayDay, and you'll be thinking you are somewhere in the Milky Way! Ya Dig It! "Mean" Gene: Now Ladies and Gentleman, this week we have two more matches to add to this Fourth of July Spectacular. Which again, will be available exclusively on Closed Circuit Television. The first will see the men we saw earlier in the hour, Haku and Tama, The Islanders along with their manager, Sunshine take on the men they assaulted several weeks back, Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, The Fantastics. We tried to get comments from The Fantastics, but they are in what is being called by those close to them, intensive training ever since the assault several weeks ago. After the viciousness we saw displayed by The Islanders earlier, they may need it. Also, after the events of last week, Ken Patera will defend his newly won Intercontinental Championship against Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. Our World Wrestling Federation cameras caught up with Valentine and his manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. We are taken to Heenan and Valentine in what looks to be the arena parking lot. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan: So Patera has decided to defend the Intercontinental Title against Greg "The Hammer" Valentine at Wrestlemania? Well color me shocked! After failing as an Olympian, and failing as a powerlifter, I figured he would rest on his laurels of accidentally winning a battle royal for the rest of his life. So congratulation on proving me wrong Patera. So you enjoy holding on to your shiny new toy for another five weeks until Greg Valentine turns your leg into mince meat and makes you a failure at professional wrestling too. Greg Valentine: Ken Patera! When we step into that ring, I am going to show you why they call me "The Hammer" when I pound your leg until you can't walk anymore. Then when I apply the Figure Four Leglock you'll scream in pain and beg to quit. Then I will be the Intercontinental Champion! "Mean" Gene: Ladies and Gentleman, two huge title matches are already signed, and there is so much more to come. If you are going to spend your hard earned dollars on a Closed Circuit show this summer, make sure and choose the one that everyone is going to be talking about. Saturday Night, July the Fourth. Wrestlemania! For Update, I'm Gene Okerlund! -Commercial Break- Vince McMahon: Thank You So Much for tuning into Superstars of Wrestling this week! Please join us next week where we will have action featuring The Gunslingers! DJ Peterson! SGT. SLAUGHTER!!! and World Wrestling Federation President Jack Tunney will be here to find out exactly what is on the mind of "Superstar" Billy Graham. You won't want to miss it. See You Next Week!! (Show was a bit shorter than normal, but I've been out of town all week! Hope you all enjoy!)

WWF will pick up Ted Arcidi. Currently in the midst of an 8 hour car trip. Will drop someone when I can look at my roster later this evening.

Oh Shit. Tully better hire a bodyguard or five before USWA loops back around Dallas!! This should be good!!

and just like that Greg Gagne no longer haunts me, and the Killer Bee's are born in the AWA! Hogan/Jumbo in a flag match will certainly get the spirit of 'Merica flowing! Flair shows Koko how it's done, but the hand shake afterwards and the loss of his partner maybe signals a new direction for Koko? Flair and Landel is getting quite heated, and it should be quite a fight this time around. Sawyer gets the nod to challenge for the new belt, but Olympia puts him away! Olympia is really a great choice for the first champion. Great main event, babyfaces pick up a big win, then the beat down comes, then the big run off to end the show. Perfect way to draw them back next week. Piper is sure to have something to say about it!! Rage in the Cage looks like a sure fire winner from top to bottom. Looking forward to it man. Good stuff as always.

This might be a good time to end the Kabuki controversy in this game. In real life, after his World Class run ended in September 84, Magic Dragon returned to Japan and if he made appearances in the states after that, they were infrequent.
