Texas All Star (formerly St. Louis) would like to pick up from free agency: Alexis Smirnoff, Bobby Duncum, Jeff Gaylord, Jerry Oske, Joe Lightfoot, Kim Duk, Mark Fleming, Ric McCord, Taras Bulba, and Tug Taylor Also pulling Frank Dusek from the retired list to use as my Promoter/Authority Figure

Always enjoyed the Armstrongs on JCP, and really wish I could have seen more of his work in Pensacola or his later stuff like SMW. RIP Bullet.

I'd been hanging on to NXT as the last piece of modern WWE programming that I gave my full attention too, but I think I am tapping out ahead of that match. The mere thought of all the shocked face two counts has me rolling my eyes already.

My fear for Keith Lee is that he is going to end up in some awful angle based around him being "too fat." One can only assume that someone thinks that already based on the new attire. It also seems like the king of thing that would amuse Vince to no end.

I feel like if they tossed in some interviews, and some video packages like some kind of a Superstars/Saturday Night hybrid it would be just fine. But two straight hours of squash matches with nothing else but a "here's what will be on Dynamite" promo is just too much.

Good Lord....13 matches on Dark this week. The only thing of any consequence was Hager/Stunt, Sabian/Kazarian, and Hybrid 2 vs Janela/Kiss Now I came up on 80's wrestling television, and I still enjoy watching it to this day. But 10 squash matches (11 really, cause Hager squashed Stunt) is just too much. Dark doesn't need to be running 2 hours in the first place, but if they are going to do it, can we please get some video packages and some interviews instead of the same crew of jobbers getting squashed in meaningless matches week after week. I know Covid has screwed shit up, but this is totally unnecessary. I am loving Dynamite nearly every week, but Dark in this format is turning into a chore.

I wasn't attempting to "dunk on you" whatever that means. But, let's just stop this here. We obviously have wildly different political views, and this is Pro Wrestling Only, not the place for us to discuss those views.

This. 100% this. However it seems that Justin gets a little upset when we try to connect that with Mr. Trump. I can only wonder why.

I bet when Obama was in office, the dude didn't feel entitled by the President to plaster his ignorance all over the place like he does by the current administration.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4

He always seemed a little high in his ECW promo's, but..well... you know... Agreed that ECW definitely could have done something with OMG other than Spike Dudley squash victim. I must be the only person in the world who liked Brian Lee in the Triple Threat more than Bigelow. -

I really feel like Scorpio is a guy who should have been so much bigger than he was. A guy his size, doing the shit he did. I feel like money was left on the table. -
I love that Marty's being looked into, and Jay Lethal is still on the card.

Yeah, Shida is easily my favorite female talent on the roster. I do wish they could have had her program with Penelope last longer than a week though.

In an ideal world Tony, Excalibur, and Taz would be the announce team and J.R. could have a weekly segment where he runs down the rankings and then gets a moment to give his opinion on something like Gordon Solie had on the Power Hour in '89

So, what exactly is Damian Priest's character supposed to be? I know I am grasping at straws here, cause we can ask that question about half the people in WWE at this point, but he really confuses me. One week he is like a "dark" character. Then he's acting like he's a ladies man. Seems like it's 50/50 whether he is face or heel and what the fuck is an Archer of Infamy anyway? Edit: and this week Mauro called him a Martial Artist.....so that's a new thing he is.....

I hope they have cage dancers and midgets masturbating in trash cans.

Absolutely loved Mitch alongside Sweeney in Chikara. That promo voice was the most "Wrestling" thing ever, and him playing an 80's heel in the ridiculousness of Chikara just worked so well. I need to seek out more of his work.

His book is one of my favorite wrestling books that I've had the pleasure of reading. The man definitely had a rough road. They all suck, but this one hurts a little more for me. Always loved Kamala. Rest in Peace Big Man.

U.S. East Coast. I get them, refresh the page, and it usually loads on the first try. The Mitch Ryder thread is dead to me though, which is unfortunate as I wanted to comment. Loved that guy. -

This is the only thing I am going to see now when I am forced to watch a Seth Rollins match. -
When he is strictly calling wrestling moves, I think JR is still a good announcer and can be left to do his job. But unfortunately he is a grumpy old pervert as well. So this shit like him ogling Anna Jay, and bitching about the product is seriously making it not worth having him on the television show, name value or not. Him cracking jokes about Tony staring at Anna Jay while she is standing right there is totally unprofessional and has to be uncomfortable as hell for her.
