No daylight time in the UK, then?
-
The extremely short version is: - All of the experts that have weighed in feel she should be able to compete if she's hormonally female and most of the comments I've read get that, but... - Women who have competed against her (both in MMA fights and grappling competitions) say she's strong enough that it feels like they're fighting a man. And she is, in fact, pretty jacked up. My guess? She's fully transitioned like she says, but she's using steroids as PEDs and has been lucky/selective with the smaller shows she's fought on as far as drug testing goes. So any perceived advantage would have nothing to do with being a transwoman, and obviously nobody's getting SRS just to win a fight.

I think it's just for the piece. He wore a mask in a movie but it was a few years later.

They did have a successful Omni show (in large part due to strong local promotion by Deep South as a partner), right as JCP was gonna buy Watts out, but business was awful just about everywhere else.
-
The answer is pretty clearly Bob Brown. There's no evidence he was ever any good, or a draw (he homesteaded the worst money territory in the business), or any kind of positive influence on anything, and when his best friend's territory out of Kansas City shut down, he somehow rode Kerry Brown's coat tails into regular work in Canada in the late '80s-early '90s in territories he had no history in.

Tremendous. Where does Billy Robinson fit in? -
I wonder if it's because the most marketable match on the set being a YouTube rip meant they didn't want to go with a highlight package.

No, she died of strangulation while tied up. IIRC the bruising showed she was tied up pre-mortem.
-
How common is it that it would lead to an IMMEDIATE suicide, though?
-
There was very little time between the first news story that said it was a murder suicide and the the first one that said it was Chris.
-
As an aside, I know it was a different time in terms of media coverage (no TMZ watching everything and paying attention to wrestling), but it's still pretty weird that nobody knew about stuff like Chris's DUI arrest (apparently after a fight with Nancy) in 1998 and Nancy's divorce filing in 2003 (alleging domestic abuse) until reporters started digging after the murders.

Thanks for bringing that up, I totally blanked on it earlier for some reason. Benoit no-showing the PPV the night before due to a "family emergency" was weird before we knew anything else. Knowing that he mysteriously no-showed the PPV when we found out the entire family was found dead was a HUGE factor in thinking the most horrifying possible scenario had happened. I don't remember exactly when it became clear that he had never flown out to that weekend's swing in Texas, but I can see why someone would be be less likely to think it was a murder-suicide if they thought he flew from GA to TX and back. Flying back home specifically to kill his family and himself is pretty out there even by the fucked up standards of what actually happened.
-
How was it not just as likely that a robbery ended up in mass execution? Because that's incredibly unlikely? Once you hear the whole family was dead, these are the options: - Execution of THE ENTIRE FAMILY in a home invasion, because...why exactly? How often does that even happen. especially in affluent suburbs? It's not like they were running drugs for the cartels. - Carbon monoxide poisoning (which, while not 100% , would have a high likelihood of being a murder-suicide anyway). - Murder-suicide. (Some people said "gas leak" at the time, as well, but it's not the gas that kills you, it's an explosion setting off the gas, so the headline would've been the whole family perishing in a fire, not just them being dead.) Of those scenarios, what's the most likely?

They've acknowledged Zeb had a history in pro wrestling/WWE, they've just been as vague about it as possible. And I'm with Dylan, tonight's match should've somehow been the WM main event. Fuck Samoan Gronda.

Actually, there IS an entry for this on TVTropes: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main...eDreadedGRating

He was basically agreeing with her comparing her plight to Hank Aaron's as he was breaking Babe Ruth's homerun record. I don't think she made that comparison; Dave did on his own.

I remember Shaunas LeFrancois pimping Payne vs Vader ages ago as a good, hard hitting Mid-South style match...has anyone here seen it?

This gets covered in the seminar in Wrestling Road Diaries. Danielson tries to teach the students how to do it out of an armbar.

Bret vs Buzz is the same noisy dubbed down copy everyone has. You have the DVD or the Blu-Ray version? DVD. WWE doesn't send out review copies of the Blu-Rays for some reason.
