Popped big for Toni and Harley completely Straya'ing out in that segment.

Omega/Osprey vs Takeshita/Fletcher is gonna be out of this world,
-
Also I hope Hunter is at least letting use the WWE jet to fly across the country to appear on NXT on back to back weeks.

She has got noticeably better, and is still bad. Honestly I think part of the issue is that pretty much every woman on the roster except Rhea and Bianca aren't able to do much with her. I noticed several times it looked like spots didn't go as intended (like Kofi appearing to lose Rey on the powerbomb to the table spot and nearly dropping him on his head). The finish looked weird too, but Rey did his best to save it. I've noticed it before, but Sami went full Mick Foley in this promo and made it 100x more awesome. "Lovable babyface cuts serious ass promo" is one of those things that always works in wrestling and it's puzzling to me that more folks don't do it. I honestly think Punk can't help it, there's more than enough evidence at this point proving that's just his personality to be a sarcastic asshole. Part of me wonders if he threw that Hogan line in just to prove it wasn't just them dang California librulz booing him. Seems like a very Punk thing to do.

It seems at least to be a "where there's smoke there's fire" situation with her. Every time there's some kind of backstage drama involving Britt there's always a ton of "its blown out of proportion" defenses made, but if everyone around you thinks you're an asshole you just might be an asshole.

GCW must feel like Hammerstein is cursed at this point. Their first show fell flat, and this one was actually pretty good but will be remembered for this and Allie Katch doing a dive and Sid'ing her leg.

Jey Uso getting this push reminds me of when JCP was pushing Ricky Morton as the next challenger to Ric Flair. They even did a memorable angle (rubbing Ricky's face in the concrete and breaking his nose) to set it up. It still felt like a tag team guy challenging for the title. This is the best comparison I could possibly think of.

The crowd popping big for Punk saying he'd throw Hulk Hogan's dusty ass out of the Rumble has been the Raw highlight of the year.

At the People vs GCW show tonight, PCO won a battle royale and said he wanted to do something for a while. He brought a sledgehammer and a chair into the ring and proceeded to bash his TNA Digital Media belt while saying he's the best merch seller in TNA until the ring announcer and GCW crew wrestled the mic away and the show cut to a video package. The story is PCO told GCW the stunt was part of a storyline for the next TNA tapings, but they realized halfway through the segment that it was not authorized TNA is saying they were surprised about it and that he was set to wrap up on the next tapings. So putting two and two together it seems like PCO feels TNA cheated him out of merch money and decided the best course of action was to shoot on them on another company's show. Pro wrestling, everybody!

Kenny/Ospreay vs Fletcher//Takeshita is gonna be a banger. Someone said earllier AEW and New Japan should be fighting over who gets to push Takeshita harder and I agree 100%.

I suppose WWE must have forgot CW doesn't do overruns like USA did, as the Bayley/Roxanne angle got cut off at the end of the show tonight.

This is pretty much the pro wres equivalent of getting sent to the minors, and if it isn't some kind of storyline going from calling Wrestlemanias to calling matches in front of a couple hundred folks on a campus in Florida because your boss is a mark for celebrity commentators has to sting a little. I'm torn though. Part of me hopes it is a work so he doesn't seem like such a whiny baby, but if it is I don't really care to see him wrestling since he was becoming one of my favorite announcers in terms of how seemed like he was really hitting his stride. If it's just something he wants to do because he didn't get to end his in ring career on his terms, I get it, but it's not something anyone is really hankering to see. I will say I enjoyed how half his commentary on NXT was asking Booker wtf he just said. At one point he seemed legit exasperated and was like "you have to deal with this every week?" to Vic.

I was pleasantly surprised how quickly Penta got over, and I assume that Rey Fenix will be joining him as soon as contractually possible. Also it's wild to hear AAA get namedropped on WWE TV in 2025/

Rick "Black Bart" Harris passed away at age 76 after long battle with cancer. He wasn't the biggest star but he was a guy who always showed up if even for a little bit in pretty much every promotion I watched as a kid.

Hulk getting booed on Raw probably means we won't see him around much after that, so it's probably a moot point anyway.

ZSJ/Umino was very good in ring, i just didn't get the vibe anyone in the building thought Shota had a shot in hell of winning. I'll admit I haven't been paying super close attention lately but it sure seems like he's in his "WWE pushing Roman as the top babyface and the fans disagree' era.

Overall I'd say it was a pretty good first show. A lot of angles kicked off, they did well explaining things to a new audience too.
-
It's an easy payday I don't blame him
-
Looks like MAGA didn't make the Hulkster any more beloved to the audience lol
-
I suppose now that they got that Netflix money they can have Raw in MSG more often.
-
good lord Rhea committing murders and she's not even in the ring yet
-
Noted California indy superfan Danielle Fishell (seriously she is) in the house!

The fans cheering Super Cena win one more world title at Wrestlemania is such a great send off.
