Bron is a goddamn freak of nature.
-
We should all be as lucky to find someone who loves us as much as WWE loves Nu Metal.
-
I was just thinking that is why Nia was there until the end so people wouldn't be as mad when Charlotte wins.
-
Charlotte's bedazzled knee brace got a chuckle out of me
-
I'm guessing they are filling up the ring so Jordyann Grace can come in and clean house.
-
Roxanne really needs to be on the main roster at this point.
-
Kicking off with the women's rumble, will Charlotte pick up where she left off and have everything revolve around her again?
-
IMO the issue is they are supposed to be uncontrollable bad asses but none of them really convey that other than Mox. Pac can at times but it seems like he's only around some of the time. Yuta is just a geek who looks like a 12 year old wearing a fake beard, and Claudio spent so much time as the beloved underdog never allowed to shine in WWE that it's hard to even see him as a bad guy.

I don't disagree, but he *did* work some miracles like being able to mend fences with Bruno. Plus he was able to get WWE to pretty seamlessly transition into a post-Vince world, and I'd argue he deserves to be in the HOF just for getting rid of Kevin Dunn's nauseating TV production.

Speaking of, you think TNA realized WWE has turned them into the AA team in their farm system yet?
-
So there was a teaser at the end of NXT that was just color bars and "WWE TRANSMISSION" being erased and replaced with "VENGEANCE DAY" which is their next PLE. I guess it's time to do the math and figure out who's contract is up at the end of the month since the show is on February 15.

I watched Jacob Fatu in GCW when he was a regular there and it always came across as the only reason he wasn't signed to a major promotion was his past. Dude just came off as a star. Did his family ties get him a fast pass others wouldn't get? Of course it did, but he's held up his end of the deal and been awesome every time he's appeared.

Pop of the night for me seeing Okada bust out laughing at Buddy and Brody's tough guy promo.
-
Seriously, it was a fun moment and the crowd ate it up. I didn't hate the angle at all, but I missed hearing Timeless Toni cut unhinged promos end in her threatening to tear someone's tits off.

Rhea is able to do cool power stuff with Nia that looks visually impressive, and Nia generally was fine by Nia standards. Also when I said that piece a while back on how I think sometimes in Hunter Era WWE go a little too long, Sheamus's never ending quest to win the IC title honestly peaked around the time he was in that 3 way with Drew and Gunther. Him still trying to get it is almost like torture porn at this point. Someone put that poor bastard out of his misery already. I expected Jacob to go over, but I wasn't expecting to witness Braun get murdered in prime time on NBC. As stated already. Jacob is That Guy so them to go this hard with the push is great to see. It was kinda weird hearing Michael Cole openly talk about his criminal history when that was very much the legit reason WWE wouldn't touch him for so long.

His one style is really, really fucking good though. He has that ability to get the crowd invested in everything he does which is practically a lost art. Also Private Party getting the tag titles in the first place is a testament to how good the Bucks are at getting people over. They gave Private Party by far the best matches of their careers (and probably ever), and got people convinced they were something special.

Popped big for Toni and Harley completely Straya'ing out in that segment.

Omega/Osprey vs Takeshita/Fletcher is gonna be out of this world,
-
Also I hope Hunter is at least letting use the WWE jet to fly across the country to appear on NXT on back to back weeks.

She has got noticeably better, and is still bad. Honestly I think part of the issue is that pretty much every woman on the roster except Rhea and Bianca aren't able to do much with her. I noticed several times it looked like spots didn't go as intended (like Kofi appearing to lose Rey on the powerbomb to the table spot and nearly dropping him on his head). The finish looked weird too, but Rey did his best to save it. I've noticed it before, but Sami went full Mick Foley in this promo and made it 100x more awesome. "Lovable babyface cuts serious ass promo" is one of those things that always works in wrestling and it's puzzling to me that more folks don't do it. I honestly think Punk can't help it, there's more than enough evidence at this point proving that's just his personality to be a sarcastic asshole. Part of me wonders if he threw that Hogan line in just to prove it wasn't just them dang California librulz booing him. Seems like a very Punk thing to do.
-
It seems at least to be a "where there's smoke there's fire" situation with her. Every time there's some kind of backstage drama involving Britt there's always a ton of "its blown out of proportion" defenses made, but if everyone around you thinks you're an asshole you just might be an asshole.

GCW must feel like Hammerstein is cursed at this point. Their first show fell flat, and this one was actually pretty good but will be remembered for this and Allie Katch doing a dive and Sid'ing her leg.
-
Jey Uso getting this push reminds me of when JCP was pushing Ricky Morton as the next challenger to Ric Flair. They even did a memorable angle (rubbing Ricky's face in the concrete and breaking his nose) to set it up. It still felt like a tag team guy challenging for the title. This is the best comparison I could possibly think of.

The crowd popping big for Punk saying he'd throw Hulk Hogan's dusty ass out of the Rumble has been the Raw highlight of the year.
