  1. Most NXT names now aren't bad, but Bron Breakker is especially bad because 1: The spelling is stupid. Yes I know, "branding" but all I see is a brand with a name spelled like a middle schooler from Utah. 2. REX STEINER was right there, the perfect name on a silver platter. Come on, WWE, sort your shit.
  2. In a way it was good for him to have a different name to let him succeed or fail without the name weighing on him, but they ended up making his whole character on being a Steiner they might as well just go for it.
  3. I would think if WWE is going to rocket any of the younger crew, it would be Bron by a mile. Wouldn't be the worst idea in the world if they did either.
  4. I seriously doubt Rock would be available for anything more than a cameo, since the dude seems to have about 5,000 things going on at the same time.
  5. Honestly, I think they could do something fun with Reigns/Rock (and probably the entire rest of the family by that point), but it's going to be hilarious if they miss the peak with Cody because they're marks for getting Roman a 1,000+ day run. The clear money here is Cody doing the Cena Return at the Rumble and winning at Mania.
  6. Every interview I've seen him do recently seem to show he's in a place where he realizes he was very lucky he didn't get paralyzed, and is in a mental place where he'd be fine with not returning to wrestling.
  7. I still think somehow MJF ends up with the title at Arthur Ashe and has a program with Moxley.
  8. Didn't Kross have that before? I'm pretty sure I remember that from his last run.
  9. I liked Drew with the Jake Roberts Voice in his promo before the match.
  10. I'll pop if his new catchphrase is YOU'RE GONNA GET THESE NIPS
  11. Otis growing the beard back is an improvement, now he doesn't look like a giant toddler.
  12. WWE still trying to ride that NFT train, truly the Tout of cryptocurrencies.
  13. Kofi had a A+ tweet asking if Sami could placate both KO and the Bloodline if he changed his name to Sam Owens.
  14. LOLOLOL Ronda doing a CM Punk gimmick now
  15. It did my heart good to see the crowd losing their minds over the Brutes and Imperium beating the shit out of each other.
  16. ....and violence you got!
  17. oh shit, good bubba got the scoopz!
  18. Put some respect on Fish's name, he's the guy Abraham Lincoln beat for the NWA world title
  19. Funny thing is that, since I was able to finally watch the show, is that it (like most AEW shows) it was pretty solid from top to bottom and that pretty much all got forgotten. The only "negative" was the ladder match turning into Angle Advancement but it was a pretty good angle so that was okay by me. No one should have expected this show to do more buys last year due to what was scheduled for that show and how this one had the main event booked literally days prior.
  20. His gimmick would work better in WWE, plus their style would be easier on his body. He could be great as a player/coach type in NXT too.
  21. Someone mentioned earlier how Punk had a more bulked up looking upper body when he came back, and his injury was confirmed to be a tricep tear (which is one of those "tends to happen when you are on the gas" tears). Not sayin, just sayin.
  22. Absolutely. Someone coming to you for advice should never be seen as something required or mandatory. It should be an honor if someone does, but it's not a failing of that person if they don't.
  23. Part of growing up watching Punk means you know he's kind of an asshole. It was part of his charm (as weird as it sounds). It's not like someone meeting Mr. Rogers and finding out he drops f-bombs. His whole deal was the asshole who didn't give a fuck what the veterans said, he was going to do things his way. Which is what makes what he turned into especially hilarious.
  24. Maybe they aren't seeking out advice but it's not like they have any obligation to do so other than the Olde Timey Rasslin' Code. If people don't want to hear Punk or Regal's advice, they don't have to. It's their loss/gain. The idea that they somehow MUST do this is kind of arrogant.
  25. What's alarming to me is that him filming people was such a known thing that SRS and I believe Bix both reported on hearing about it (but couldn't report on it since no one was willing to go on the record) which means there's probably no way management didn't know or at least hear stories about it.
