I loved the touch that the ref who let Aubrey know what happened had a reason to be out there since he was breaking up the Wardlow/Hager fight.

I think Darby is going to go so balls out that people won't mind the outcome. I don't think he should be losing right now but losing to Punk in his first match in 7 years (in Chicago!) wouldn't hurt him.

Pretty sure it was NOAH, either way it's practically impossible for a foreign company to buy a Japanese one. Between the laws and the culture in Japan there was zero chance it was ever going to work unless they built it themselves from the ground up. Even then it would be rough, considering Microsoft couldn't convince the Japanese to buy Xboxes for like 20 years now. Good luck getting then to support a rasslin' company owned by Americans.

This. I'm not a teetotaler but I rarely drink and the assumption that everyone wants to be drunk in public always amuses me.

I mean the beer thing was a spot the fans did for Hangman, I could see the dude being caught up in the moment and doing it without thinking.

Japan would probably insist on him being Wild Pegasus Jr, which actually would probably be better for him. I feel bad for David since he clearly has the passion and wants to do this, and in a different timeline he would probably be a big star just off his name alone. Instead he's the most radioactive person possible for reasons he had nothing to do with. Dude went from having the best genetic luck possible for wrestling to having the worst.

Also it's hilarious they are running back Charlotte/Nia for Raw. Perhaps they figure Charlotte won't try to bow up after seeing how fast Nia can throw those hands.

They really haven't been doing as much 24/7 stuff. Reggie is still awesome when they do.

The best part of the Beer Guy gif is the look on Punk's face like "the fuck, man?"

Allin seems to be convinced he only has a limited time in the biz and is getting his money's worth while he's here.

LOL man Eddie rules

He's really leaning in to it, which is what you have to do to make these silly gimmicks work (and that's probably why Brucie didn't think Terry tried hard enough to make the Rooster work).

I haven't even thought of them in forever, I suppose GCW supplanted them as the indy fed that does wacky shows and deathmatches.
-
I would say it's pretty much a lock the Lucha Bros are winning unless something unforeseen happens. Also Rey Fenix + that tall ass AEW cage is going to result in some insane spots.
-
It looks like they (probably just Bruce) will be coming up with the creative and other folks will do the actual day to day producing. Hunter having to put Brucie's plans to work is going to be hilarious.

Oh man, I forgot he was in that really bad accident. Him just surviving that was a major accomplishment let alone everything he's been able to do since.
-
Yeah I heard a lot about Daniel Garcia but never saw him and was like "whats the big deal with this guy?" I totally get it now. Also I love how 2.0 immediately proved how stupid it was to cut them.

Dave was talking about how people in both WWE and AEW have got covid recently and in his usual between the lines style kind of implied PAC's travel issues were more "can't travel because he got covid" issues.

Seems like the latest word is Bryan debuts on this show. When Tony was on with Dave, he mentioned that he had a pretty solid idea of which match would go on last (Dave asked with all the potential main events on this show if he knew which one he was going with) in a Cheshire cat way that came off as a non-confirmation confirmation of the Bryan rumors.

Ironically with all the Aus/NZ talent NXT has signed you'd think it would have occurred to Hunter that it might make a good base of operations. Maybe he has a deep seated kangaroo phobia.

I know she had mental health issues, but I'm surprised to hear about the CTE stuff. I didn't think she had any other history of concussion related issues other than that one really bad incident in TNA.
-
I'd guess toxic macho "admitting defeat is weakness" bullshit probably. Somewhere Shane is sending him the George Clooney in a noose "first time?" meme.
-
It probably would be, but Hunter seems the type to not just sit back and let himself get put in an office in the basement like Milton from Office Space. While the smart move would be for him to just shut up and take it while continuing to cash those WWE checks, I could see his ego not letting him. Also kudos to Bruce for parlaying a podcast gig with Conrad where he just said a lot of bullshit and got mad about the sheets into getting back into WWE and having a hand running all three brands. He out Game-ed The Game completely.

I caught part of the video and it was brutal, seeing a slow motion train crash unfold and hoping someone would reach her in time while the people watching were pleading with her. The worst part is she moved like a week or so ago and had people been able to pin down her new address sooner things may have turned out different. Not that it's anyone's fault, just one of those what if things that could have changed the outcome. Depression is a real motherfucker, I know from first hand experience, and sometimes it seems you just don't have the energy to keep climbing out of the hole.

Dude grew up the son of a TV star, gonna go out on a limb and assume he wasn't on DVDVR or watching 90s puro tapes.
