  1. I would like to see that happen. I enjoy KO, probably more than most here, but he's done all he could hope to do in WWE and I would like to see KILL STEEN KILL return.
  2. Bryan has been vegetarian for a while and I believe he still is, he tried going full vegan but it proved too difficult to maintain on the road. IIRC, he started going vegetarian since he had some kind of digestive disorder growing up and that was the thing that solved it for him.
  3. I love that Sting can get away with stuff like that since his character was an 80s/90s surfer dude for so long. Its like hearing your dad slip into some slang that was popular when he was in his 20s.
  4. I'm sure Bryan *can* have a good match with anyone else in the world but all we've really seen the last several years is that he can work miracles in the WWE style.
  5. I think Jericho's IRL beliefs/personality is coloring people's opinions of his work. He's been a big part of AEW from day one, the crowd singing his theme has been a signature part of AEW shows, he's reached the "legend who can't go as good as he once did but he's still working hard for an old guy so the crowd is more accepting of it" status. The fact that he's at best kinda dumb and at worst he's Pro Wrestling Joe Rogan working the MAGA/anti vax grift train is souring people on his ring work and I can't say I blame them.
  6. This. Kenny may be a goof but there's really no one else around right now who can have a good to great match with anyone in the world in any style. Punk's match was fine for a guy who hasn't done this since 2014, Darby was the perfect opponent for his first match. You want a guy who can bump around for you while you get your sea legs back, and there's not a better guy to fill that role than Darby. It's always been said that the only way to get the ring rust off is to have matches, all the training in the world is no substitution for having actual matches, so if Punk was able to pull off what he did while being that rusty I don't think we're going need to worry much about him.
  7. He's been pretty open about working Arena Mexico being a bucket list item for him.
  8. Yeah it's ridiculous that all they've done is lose since they got the titles. I think Tegan and Shotzi beat them like 3x on Smackdown and never got a title match.
  9. I get all that, but the net result of all that we saw this week is a rerun of a match we just saw last week.
  10. All that TAG TEAM TURMOIL to lead to.......A REMATCH next week! What a colossal waste of everyone's time (hinting at Bob vs Omos was cool tho).
  11. Man, I didn't consider the timing of the MSG show. I just love to be told NEVER FORGET something I witnessed happening live on TV and have been told to NEVER FORGET for 20 years now.
  12. At this point I think Reggie is immune to gravity and only walks as to not freak out us normies.
  13. I want to see a Reggie/Dante Martin match just to see if either guy ever touches the ground.
  14. WHATCHA GONNA DO BROTHA WHEN REGGIE MANIA RUNS WILD ON YOOOOOOOOU
  15. Charlotte gonna get it for saying title match and not CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY.
  16. Clearly the highlight of this show has been Kofi's Kevin Nash gear and him doing the framing elbow.
  17. Like I didn't think they weren't going to botch Kross because that's what they do, but having him dress like a drugstore knock off Demolition while facing Johnny Drip Drip is another level I wasn't expecting.
  18. Karrion Kross on MOIST TV looking like he's wondering how his life ended up in this situation.
  19. Is it me or did it seem like Nattie came back awful fast from rolling her ankle so bad it needed surgery? LIke it seems like she was only out a couple weeks and was back in the ring.
  20. I'm sure old NXT wasn't all roses either, but if you were a talented wrestler who didn't have the tools necessary to be included in Vince's spank bank, it was the best place you could hope to be .
  21. Having been in the crowd twice now, it's an amazing experience live. As great as it is to watch on TV, being in the building when Britt makes her entrance in Pittsburgh and being able to *feel* the Road Warrior pop as well as being able to hear it was an unforgettable moment. Plus it's such a different vibe before and after the show. Even the fans seem happier to be there and leaving the show with a "fuck yeah that was awesome" feeling instead of "oh my god, that show lasted forever I just want to go home and go to sleep".
  22. They'll probably keep Kairi on that neverending "we're adding time on your deal because you were injured" contract. IIRC she never officially left the company, she just moved into an "ambassador" type role so they could keep her quiet about getting concussed (then slapped around) on their TV.
  23. I get the vibe that Asuka is getting to the "fuck it, I don't care anymore" stage of her WWE career. I can easily see her being the next "we forgot when her contract expired and now she's on Dynamite" contestant.
  24. I could see them wanting to bring in Bryan since he would certainly be a draw for the tourist audience they go for. Especially if Casas pushed for it since he's someone politically connected enough that they would at least hear him out if he asked.
  25. I'm sure morale is at an all time high, what with half the roster openly living vicariously through their friends and SO's working for the other company and their only safe space from Vince's bullshit being shut down.
