AEW TV - 12/6 - 12/9 - Make the Entire Promotion Out of Eddie/Bryan Already
sek69 replied to Timbo Slice's topic in AEW
As Michael Cole would say, that was VINTAGE RUSH. It took someone with the wallet the size of TK's to even get him to do jobs without complaining. Was it me or did he seem to just blank out at the end of that promo? He was all fired up getting out of the wheelchair like he was about to ether Adam into the dirt, but then just kinda stood there before spiking the mic. -

I was expecting some crazy brawling with Mox and Rush, and they haven't disappointed. -
If you read the entire thing they said, they are looking at cutting back house shows in "C or D counties", which yeah I'm sure they aren't making tons of cash running shows in the middle of Bumfuck, South Dakota. It sucks for the people in those small towns, but business-wise it's probably a no brainer decision.

The funniest part is that Okada is at least as fluent in English as Nak is, if not more. If anything I would expect Okada to do like Ospreay and sign a deal with AEW that allows him to still do New Japan dates. If he wants to scratch having a run in America off his bucket list, that would seem to be the best way for him to do it.

He's 11 It floored me too, but that's just his personality. He's sassy as well.

my son walked into the room during that talking segment and was like "why are all WWE women always so sassy?"

Also that finish was sweet AF, that match ended up fun as hell

Lash Legend bodyslamming Otis might be the most earned HOLY SHIT chant ever

I know they probably not going to have a world title change on a random Raw, but if they *were* ever going to do it tonight would have been a good time.

Goddamn, I want to see Julius Creed and Claudio have an amazing feats of strength contest

He was in the house here in Pittsburgh when Nakamura faced Seth, he might be down with doing it.

So I guess Tegen Nox's gimmick now is "living Rainbow Brite doll"

Man's being demonized for not being gaslit into forgetting how many times the Bloodline did him dirty.

Nana seems like a genuinely good dude and he's clearly having the time of his life out there and who doesn't want to root for someone like that.

Every week it is more and more obvious that Brody has outgrown the HOB and should be smashing fools and winning belts. He's got a unique look and the scary monster aura of his namesake, I can easily see him tearing through a crowd terrifying people like Bruiser Brody. As far as Swerve, dude just Gets It. Man has so much swag he got the babyface reaction in a feud where he broke into another man's house and implicitly threatened an infant. The in ring stuff was always excellent, but all the pieces have really come together for him and taken him to the next level.

Also it's interesting to see the AAA mega title and their cruiserweight title on Rampage and Collision this week, considering AEW is now best bros with CMLL. One would think either AEW is under the impression CMLL doesn't watch US TV, or they were just schmoozing them to get Mistico for a few dates. Either one is just as likely to be correct.

People still aren't accustomed to the ebbs and flows of two national companies after, what has it been now, 4 years and change that AEW has been around. So many folks acting like AEW is going to curl up and die because WWE got hot again. Their shows are still good, tickets seem to be selling decently (admittedly not as good as they were), and the sun still comes up in the morning. They are still almost certainly getting a big bump on their next TV deal, and the company just reported big profits for the year.

Claudio and Brody King out here beating the piss out of each other
-
WCCW had better crowds at the end, but it was a depressing mix of no-names and past their prime guys. At least vegetative state AWA still had Larry Z kicking around until the end.
-
Honestly that's all they ever saw it as. WWE Network exists so they didn't have to split the PPV profits with cable companies anymore, and their commitment to classic content was lackadaisical at best,

holy shit Christian, I fully apologize for ever doubting brother @C.S.

man those jabronis they got to be security for the Edge/Christian segment looked like they legit got four random people out of the crowd.
