  1. Man, there's SO many matches on there that I either haven't seen or am dying to see. Call me "big jealous."
  2. You know, I've never even cared enough about the "Montreal Screwjob Incident" to even think about how it made me feel. It happened so long ago that I don't even remember all of the details. I watched "Wrestling with Shadows" years ago, but that wasn't a very even look at the situation. It seemed to have a bias towards Bret's side. I don't know which side of the fence I'd favor, and I don't really want to think about it, still, to this day. That shit happened years ago and should've been put to rest at that time too. Bret and WWE are both at fault for fueling the beast this damn long. I get tired of hearing WWE mention the screwjob everytime they go to Canada. I also get tired of reading Bret whining about the shit on the internet. Then, in turn, both of those events feul the e-fans and all the forums blow up with more "I agree with Bret" and "I agree with Vince" posts. I'll be damn glad if they finally did pull out the knife.
  3. That's great. Man, this would've made a great song for Muhammad Hassan. Well, minus the vulgar language on Spike TV.
  4. Here's another random question: Does anyone know what Homicide's entrance music in RoH is?
  5. Alright. Can you provide me with the URL or e-mail address to any of the aforementioned contacts? Perhaps ask for me if you already have an account at either of those places?
  6. If he does, I'm sure it'd be in Japanese....
  7. I remember reading about Lance Storm's diet and workout program. Is there anyway that I could find the same info for Kenta Kobashi?
  8. I believe the problem was when he tried to have his insurance cover it. Anyway, I'll be happy to see them both back, although it mean their workrate will have to drop again. Actually, I don't know if this will effect me as a fan because they're going to WWE as much as it will because they're leaving ROH. I might be done with WWE. I couldn't even finish Raw on Monday it was so bad. The GAB sucked the like out of me. Raw poured salt in the open sores.
  9. Chris Jericho is expected to be gone from the WWE within 6 weeks, with SummerSlam being his last show. Jericho has a multitude of gigs booked for his band, Fozzy, including a ten-day tour of the UK in October. -- Wrestling Observer Newsletter (blatantly copy & pasted from TSM) This seems like big news to me. Jericho is still a HUGE name in this business. If he's going to go fulltime with Fozzy, obviously TNA isn't in his cards. Not to mention, after he was done touring or whatever, I'm sure he'd choose to go back to WWE before TNA. Still, "what if?"
  10. Shit, with Smackdown going to Friday's and the UPN deal running out, and UPN telling WWE they can't use Hassan, Brock is too good for fucking Smackdown. I think WWE SHOULD shit on Smackdown. Let the shit end instead of sending Brock there to flounder like everyone else. I do agree that Brock is a better heel than face...but it doesn't really matter. He could be more like a tweener and just decimate everyone. I don't think a whole lot of people care about Benoit being in top programs.
  11. You're crazy if you don't think Brock will be coming back as a face. All returning superstars get the return pop. WWE should capitalize on that. Let Lesnar be a face for awhile. Then all the people you said he won't feud with, he could. Also, if he was a face, he could be the one to break the Masterlock. HBK, HHH, Y2J, Angle, & Edge. Hell, he could even throw around The Big Show some more, although Show is kinda face right now.
  12. I'd rather he was on Raw. There's nothing for him on Smackdown. They can build to Lesnar/Batista without them being on the same show. We've already seen Lesnar against Undertaker. What else is there? No one cares about JBL/Lesnar or Orton, Christian, Booker T. Vs. Lesnar.
  13. I had to stop watching Raw last night. It was just too much to take. I quit watching right around the one hour mark. I got to see HBK come out and talk and the last thing I saw was the announcement of the Eugene Invitational next week. Just when I thought the shitty Angle Invitational was over. I knew that the Diva slop was still to come, I didn't care about another gimmick match between Kane/Edge. Ugh. I think I'm done with Raw. I'll prolly still download Smackdown and catch a "B" show every now and then. It's not like Smackdown is much better though. Especially since they killed off my favorite wrestler. Other than that, I'm sticking to ROH downloads and waiting for TNA to hit Spike TV. Actually, I think I'm more excited for the second season of Ultimate Fighter.
  14. Man, I remember watching a Spivey match against Lex Luger in early 90's WCW. They were trying so hard to get Luger over. Spivey hit him with EVERYTHING. A Piledriver, A Tombstone, A DDT...just every damn move he could think of. Luger just kicked out of it all like it was nothing then went on to win the match. That's when I knew that Spivey wasn't going to have a career.
  15. I don't even know. Who would've thought that Cena's wigger rapper gimmick would get over? Who would've thought that Eugene being a retard would get over? It's hard to tell what will stick. Shit, I didn't think 'Taker would still be around fifteen years later when he debuted at the Survivor Series. I'm banking on The Boogeyman failing.
  16. The Undertaker ~ I loved me some Deadman Inc. To be honest, the only thing I like about zombie version of 'Taker is his entrance, especially at Wrestlemania's. I used to hate watching his "No Sell" everything only to sit up. I think people sleep on how good a worker 'Taker can be when he's "feeling it." I liked when he expanded his repertoire. He started using MMA style armbars and shit. He started doing the spot where he Irish Whips his opponent into the corner, charges in with a Clothesline, then bounces off the opposite side ropes to hit a Big Boot. I mark for that sequence. I also liked the leg drop on the apron that he started using. The armwork made the "Old School" spot make more sense. He was even using some Triangle Chokes and Dragon Sleepers for awhile. Hell, he still busts out a Plancha every now and then! I was sad when he went back to the zombie for Wrestlemania XX against Kane, although the buildup entertained me and it led to another fabulous entrance. I don't always like what's 'Taker is doing. I was a huge Hassan mark and watching 'Taker dispose of Hassan, five masked "associates" and Daivari was a little much to stomach. His undefeated streak at Wrestlemania seems to be one thing in prowrestling the people still consider somewhat important. Even if most of the wins were over jobbers like Kamala, Albert & Nathan Jones. I like The Undertaker. He pretty much defines what Sports Entertainment is. I thought he looked better with the short hair. I actually wanted to buy the "Deadman Inc." and "Big Evil, Red Devil" shirts. Arn Anderson ~ I like Double A. I liked the Brainbusters. I liked the IV Horsemen. I even liked his Dangerous Alliance stuff. Watching Anderson finish with a Spinebuster or a DDT is a treat. I marked out hardcore when he hit the Spinebuster on The Undertaker out of left field in 'Taker's Wrestlemania match with Ric Flair. For a second, I actually thought that Ric Flair was going to be the man to end the Wrestlemania winning streak. I think that Anderson was an underrated talker. His deep, raspy voice made for some good promos. "The beer's on ice!" Juventud Guerrera ~ Eh, I liked him better when he still rocked the mask in WCW. He always seems sloppy to me. He did provide me with some entertaining curtain jerkers during Thunder and Nitro though. I thought he made a decent enough Cruiserweight Champion. I'm really digging the Mexicools too, unfortunately, I don't care if they wrestle or not. I'm just a mark for their stereotypical entrance. I like how they just randomly beat the slop out of people then grab the mic and you can't understand a word they say. Ha! Blue Panther ~ I don't know who that is. Keiji Muto ~ Oh my God, where to begin? At one time, I thought he was the best worker in North America. The Great Muta was so original and ahead of his time in WCW, that you couldn't help but be drawn to him. He was doing Moonsaults and shit way before they were popular. He was fast, agile and original. He was something different and grabbed my attention. Now, his knees are trash but he can still be entertaining. I mark out for his robe during his entrance much like I used to mark for his various headgear. He was the first person I ever saw use Poison Mist, A Moonsault, a Hurricanrana and Headscissors. I love his elbow drop and I think that Low Ki does him justice. His face paint was great. I'm a big fan of the Shining Wizard and the innovative ways where he tries to connect with them.
  17. How about Rob Van Dam and Val Venis? They've both phenominal at taking DDT and Piledriver bumps. Hell, RVD bumps huge for everything. I would've mentioned Trish Stratus, Mr. Perfect, Ted DiBiase, Shawn Michaels & Buh-Buh Ray Dudley if they weren't already mentioned. I'm also going to throw out Tito Santana. His bumping was the only thing that I ever noticed, since whenever I saw him, he was usually getting squashed. His match at Wrestlemania 6 with The Warlord stands out to me. I love the way he sold the top rope clothesline finish by stalling on his neck for just a second before completely flipping over.
  18. I figured it was just to setup a 3-Way at SummerSlam between Batista, Bradshaw and The Undertaker. I assume that The Undertaker was going to lose to Hassan thanks to Orton. That was to lead to Batista Vs. Hassan and 'Taker Vs. Orton at SS. Instead, UPN pulled the trump card on Hassan, so WWE had to quick goat think and come up with some last second trash. Thus, we get Hassan killed off, no Orton and a DQ in the main event of a PPV. At least, that's what I assumed after reading the initial SummerSlam card line-up that was rumored.
  19. You can't tell me that what The Undertaker did tonight wasn't at least AS BAD as what Hassan did on Smackdown a few weeks back. I don't give a fuck.
  20. It's funny because Bagwell is coming to Terre Haute in a couple of days/weeks (can't remember, don't really care) for some SHITTY Indy show. I do mean SHITTY.
  21. Well, Summerslam seems to be where WWE tries things with new people. Brock and Orton both won their first World Titles there, right? So, maybe Hassan will follow that trend?
  22. Well, I don't think they'll put the title on Jericho and Cena isn't a very good worker, so that match will be lackluster. To be honest, I think the build-up has been horrendous too. "Y2Cheap?" C'mon, is that the best they can come up with? I'll mark out harder than hell is Muhammad Hassan wins the World Title at Summerslam. I'm a big fan of his. Big Dave and Hassan are both the shits in the ring, so that shouldn't keep him out of the title picture. Hassan is a better talker too and seems to have a lot of heat. I don't know though, Batista just went over Triple H three straight PPV's in a row and he's going to go over JBL at the Great American Bash. Having Hassan beat him might make HHH and JBL look weak by default and you know HHH isn't going to stand for that shit. HBK/Hogan will be fucking trash. The match shouldn't even be happening. When the "respect pop" is done to follow suit, something is wrong. Maybe that's just the way that I'm seeing it? It doesn't matter who goes over here, since it won't mean anything come the next day. UT/Randy in a Casket Match? I assume that means Orton is the reason that UT loses to Hassan at GAB? Oh well, I still have high hopes for Randy Orton. He has the "superstar look." He just looks like a cocky, arrogant, son-of-a-bitch that people would pay to see lose. Too bad I don't think he'll beat UT in a Casket Match. Not unless he gets twenty jobbers to do a run-in and help, ala Yokozuna. Edge & Snitsky Vs. Kane & Hardy = snorefest. I'm already tired of the Hardy/Edge shit. Snitsky is trash. Kane/Edge is beyond stale. I don't know how this match could be made out to be important or worth watching for me. All the Carlito stuff is leading to just a street fight? I was hoping for something better than that. Of course, with the random cage match on Raw last night, I knew that it wouldn't be that. Oh well. I don't know who's going to win but I assume it'll be Shelton so that the feud can continue. Otherwise, Carlito looks better than Shelton and Shelton will have no direction. Shelton has been botching a lot of spots lately and Carlito isn't a good worker, so hopefully they'll use a lot of weapons. The Big Show Vs. Kurt Angle? Where'd that come from? So, is The Big Show going to break the Masterlock, or what? Where does this all fit in with Chris Masters and Matt Striker? I'm not seeing it. Eddie Vs. Rey could be good. Other than the chance that Hassan might win the World Title, this is the match that will decide if I watch the PPV or not.
  23. I think I'd like it better if Jeff Hardy came out to the Hardy Boyz' old music and then walked to the top of the ramp to provide a distraction to the crowd, security and wrestlers. Then Matt strikes from behind. Of course, that kinda throws the "real" element out the window.
  24. What about Bad News Brown? I always liked him. Hell, Homicide in the indies seems better than all of them to me.
