How the fuck do you debunk an opinion? This isn't Mythbusters. Yes, debunking an opinion is something that would almost require a............hivemind. When people stay stuff like that, what they mean is, a bunch of people sat down and watched a bunch of footage and drew different conclusions from the received wisdom. It's less about a hive mind and more about an approach. Outside of here, a lot of people draw conclusions from watching mainly supercards, PPVs, that sort of thing. There's a certain concentration of footage watching that goes on that isn't reflected in many other places. And people still draw different conclusions. Look at OJ's mostly incorrect takes on Hase, for example.

This is where my slightly more mainsteam tastes like ranking guys like Great Muta and Dynamite Kid, for example, will come into play.

I think I went from 4 to 14 soldiers down. I do think Yatsu has probably been part of more all-time great matches than any other guy who has fallen and he's the one that came out of nowhere for me as the names were coming out. Like him ranking below Hase (for example) is a surprise to me. Maybe I'm just super-duper high on Yatsu but he soared heights that most guys, even those who will likely finish top 20 overall, can only dream of.

If someone is really into "Big Match WWE" style matches, it wouldn't surprise me at all. He's also another guy, maybe more than anyone, that benefits from my above point about "aura". Just to play devil's advocate, I think he's actually a relatively easy guy to make a case for, from a certain perspective. Is that the perspective of "I have only ever watched WWE"?
