  1. Larry Z broke Bruno's heart, not his neck
  2. That sounds like it has potential to be awesome. Thanks for the rec and the kind words
  3. Thanks a lot man. It seems like it has been really difficult to line up schedules in the last 6-8 months. The PWO-PTBN deal got so big and everyone has extra commitments these days. The growth of the feed has been great, but I do sometimes miss the simple days of 2013 and 2014 when Titans was our primary focus. Like I wrote before the hope is to make this at least a monthly show again
  4. There is something in the works that should be quite pleasing to long time Titans fans
  5. Glad you enjoyed it. Funny, but a while back when discussing this show amongst the gang the consensus was that this was a bit of a trainwreck. Don't know if we will ever try this again. Maybe if we get the real Kal Rudman For fans wondering about upcoming episodes, the hope is to start pumping them out again once Mania season and the GWE is behind us. It's time to reclaim our spot as the preeminent Backlund-era WWF podcast out there today!
  6. About as good a match you could've hoped for I think
  7. Yeah, that was horrible
  8. You must be just a barrel of laughs at a party
  9. Enzo's such a great face in peril
  10. Classic heeling by Jericho here
  11. That would just about be the greatest thing in the history of anything
  12. I was totally into the stalling. I'm actually a mark for a good stall. The body of the match was as dull as anything I've ever seen, with the dual front face lock something I imagine would've sent Dave Meltzer into an uncontrollable rage of anti-WWF criticism in 1983
  13. Andre vs Big John Studd from 4/23/83 Cap Centre is the ultimate challenge. The whole card is on youtube, and also available in the Mystery Titans Theatre variation

I've been wondering this for a while now, who is Ryan Ward exactly? I mean, does anyone know his background, how he got to work for WWE, etc.? I've seen his name bandied about lately but don't know a thing about him. Seems like he may be an old school fan based on his booking style.

I was trying not to spoil it ☺

Great match between Joe and Zayn on the latest show
  18. You are correct. I just saw a list that also included Blackjack Mulligan, Masked Superstar, Sgt. Slaughter, Don Leo Johnathan, Peter Maivia, Otto Wanz and Mil Mascaras
  19. Strong Kobayashi and Maurice Vachon are another two
  20. Or that they blinded a black man back in 1980
  21. Cool. Thanks man
  22. Random question, but did Meltzer ever do a full bio on Dutch Savage? He died in August 2013 and Meltzer did a short bio where he stated he would do a complete bio when he had the space. Looking through the following issues I can't see one. I'm really interested in reading it if it exists, so I just need a date for the issue
  23. A very old friend of mine, dating back to Calgary in 1989, has recently started a podcast with two of his friends devoted to reviewing season 2 of Lucha Underground. The three of them have great chemistry, are naturally funny, and I think it is an entertaining show. They also keep things concise, with episodes usually maxing out at 40 minutes or so. If you are interested in Lucha Underground, check them out https://soundcloud.com/lucha-afterground (Before anyone asks, I've told my pal to enable downloads for the last two eps)
  24. Martel 1981 shoot is not a good representation of the era at all. The host doesn't seem to have much knowledge of that time and most of the interview is based around generalizations and rarely do they delve into any specifics. Backlund era WWF isn't for everyone, but don't let this shoot dissuade you from giving it a chance.
