I was really down on WWE after Mania. I just hated that show so much, more than any show in years. But since that mess there have been several positives. The main event scene is hot. The womens division feels important (really liked the in-ring segment last night). Tag scene has purpose and over teams. On the other hand, I can't stand the McMahons, especially Shane. The commentary, as ever, is unbelievably bad. And outside of a couple main events, I've felt the big shows so far this year have been uninspired. Still, if you focus on the good, there is quality stuff here

I'm digging this storyline with Reigns and Styles with the blurred lines and questions about allegiances. It's different while also feeling kinda old school

Sign in the front row reads Worst Champions 1.Great Khali 2.Roman Reigns 3.Sycho Sid Lol Lists are all the rage

Yeah, that's it

Missed the first hour or so. Having a few glasses of wine ("Johnny Goggles") and flipped on Raw with the New Day/tag team scene segment. That was fun. I'm intrigued by the six-man main event of Reigns/Usos vs Styles/Gallows/Anderson.

Meet the Thesz Press

I think we are getting close to the time where the GWE forum should be made read only and everyone starts moving on with their lives and start new journeys. I'm willing to guide anyone through 70s WWWF

Personally, I think if you're a big enough wrestling fan to have stumbled on a site like this, you've probably watched enough wrestling in your life to be able to come up with a top 100 list. Maybe, like myself, you didn't participate in the "official" journey of the GWE, but I've been on a personal journey for 30 years, and nobody can tell me I don't know enough about wrestling to vote in a poll for the greatest ever

Seems like the issue with Soundcloud has been fixed and the shows can be downloaded

I love TNT as much as anyone but I don't think binge watching it is the way to go. Just watch one every once and a while to retain your sanity

For those who care, I watched Camp WWE and well, if you want to hear Vince swear a lot and see Flair having implied sex with bears, here you go

I HATE THIS

They had to improvise in the heat of the moment, you can't prepare for that

Now that you're out there in the podcast world, I expect nothing less than you and Marty debating the series on a future ep with me as the moderator

It's a maintenance issue with no timetable for when things will return to normal unfortunately

Apparently it's an issue with Soundcloud that is affecting everyone that uses it. Unfortunately nobody from Soundcloud has made any kind of statement on the issue so we're in the dark. No podcasts can be downloaded to mobile, but I think you can still stream on a computer

I think that is a good idea

Yeah something isn't right. The last two shows on the feed, this and Parv's GWE postscript won't download onto my phone from Player FM. We're looking into it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon

Haha...I'm also a sucker for a good mohawk

Toooooooooooooooooo Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

http://placetobenation.com/tag-teams-back-again-episode-16-kelly-and-martys-top-25-tag-teams/ Celebrate the end of the GWE with another long-ass countdown show! Kelly and Marty go over their top 25 tag teams, with some crossover but also a lot of differences. This podcast is the last word on lists for 10 long years!

Gotta keep this team together

I believe Meltzer has reported that

I haven't seen this match in years but remember being a little underwhelmed by it due to the one sided nature. Love the April 76 match between the two of them where Bruno's neck is broken and he finishes the match, even blading and doing a fired up comeback

Woo hoo! Bring on the Bruno love baby! Love this match. These two work well together and I've enjoyed all their matches. Heat is OFF THE CHARTS
