Looking forward to the main event quite a bit. Can't imagine they'll go with anyone who's been a regular on TV recently in the Cena challenge which has me thinking NXT or someone returning. Also clear that Reigns is still earmarked for a huge spot at Mania, so presumably they'll start trying to make him look ready for that at some point -- perhaps tonight? Undercard also looks acceptable. Bottom line, this looks like a sneaky great show or one that will wildly disappoint. Not expecting middle of the road.

What happened to AJ?

This playlist is a godsend. I can check out 1-2 matches in the morning before heading to work, which feels like a real treat. Keep 'em coming!

Have you looked at Ditch's list for post-2000? Roughly 35 matches to start with there.

Thanks, will definitely look into the Inoki matches. Absolutely loved how he worked heel against Khan.

Any more recs? Haven't seen a ton that's highly touted.

Parv, I get the frustration but consider using your ballot as a measure to counterbalance those that you find out of wack. I'm sure many would like to see your ballot.

I watch because its my team. When the Jets were 3-12 in 1995 I went and set in the upper deck freezing my balls off to see us go 3-13. Then came Keyshawn, then came 1-15 and then came Peyton Manning staying in school and us trading down. Most years are like that. But eventually things fall your way and you get '98 and a conference title game in Denver, and then '09-'10 and back to back title games. Eventually, maybe, perhaps, in my lifetime we'll win the big one. Have to stick with your team because things will turn around.

Hot start tonight even if it was '98 + Brock. Very curious what they have planned.

Hogan 1/4/99. Kane all the time other than the one night reign in '98. Big Show every time. -

Does he Mongolian chop anyone? Well if you look at my avatar he's putting the claw on me, but I'm not homeless and I didn't have wine, so I guess he didn't chop me. That is so goddamn awesome. Even his hand isn't big enough to mask that smile. -

I liked the Vader match quite a bit at the time. Had he not ended up working like everyone else on the roster this would be a very interesting discussion. As it was, no.

Interesting is always good as long as it doesn't veer into fiction. -
I've seen a lot of Casas on yearbooks as well as staying on top of his work from the last 3-5 years online. How about some recs to fill in those gaps?

Granted, I didn't watch this in real time but going back through the tapes years later Oz always felt like someone who was actively working as a heel whereas Kawada just seemed slotted there more and wasn't outwardly a babyface like Kobashi. He'd have clearly been the face against Oz.

Why do people think only 11 submitted ballots?

Dave just tweeted that there are 7 inductees this year. -
Definitely enjoyed it but failed to meet admittedly incredibly high expectations. Also some very noticeable editing and jump cuts here.

Thanks for doing this. Curated playlists are clearly the future of music and video. Seconded. This is *much* appreciated.

Looking at the top 15 from last time I can't wait to see some of the changes.

While I don't put much stock in being the best of the 2000s for these purposes, I think Bryan's body of work -- both the high-end standouts as well as the depth / consistency -- is more than enough to include him in the discussion with the bests of any era. Looking back at much of his career is a project I hope to get to this fall/winter with an aim towards figuring out exactly where he slots in. As noted above, he's in my top 5-10 now but I'd like to confirm that to be the case and figure out just where in that mix he falls.

Fun and interesting to see Hash work a US studio match. Business picked up when Hash stopped pretending Corino's offense had any impact and began kicking the hell out of him. Perhaps not something you need to revisit or go out of your way to see, but Hash in a completely different setting and almost working a squash was enjoyable.
