  1. Full confidence in the fans to handle both or all 3 of them. Don't have quite the same confidence in the company to see things that way.
  2. There are absolutely a number of matchups I'd love to see if she makes her way to NXT/WWE. I'm just not convinced we'll see them or that they'll be given meaningful time. Asuka is already established and Hojo is a featured player in the MYC. Is it really likely they give a third Japanese woman that kind of marquee push, even if she's far & away the best of the bunch?
  3. Io did a run in at today's Stardom show then announced that she was entering the 5*GP. Two big questions are, just what condition is her neck actually in and what is her relationship with the WWE at this point? Waking up to see this on Twitter today was the best wrestling news I've seen in some time. Hoping she's back full time, but its always a good day when your current WOTY returns to her stomping grounds.
  4. There are only so many guys on the roster. Surely they must have a playlist with all music available at their fingertips the way we do on a computer or phone.

  9. Always fun to watch someone make their way through a year and see their thoughts. Love the recaps and looking forward to '92.
  10. You take the silver. Will likely gets gold for seeing the tag title match and then checking out for thrones, but he may very well be docked serious points on the judges' cards if he stuck around for Baron/Nak.
  11. Agree with this. Its one thing to separate things on some sort of objective basis (even while acknowledging its not flawless) -- region, age/period, or any other clear criteria. But when the overarching theme or organization is that vague it may take the discussion away from the matches and towards these other abstract concepts.
  12. I just remembered I watched Lion last night, which feels like a lifetime ago. That was a really terrific movie. This show fucking sucks.
  13. I hate you because you're smarter than me.
  14. Honestly, running this nonsense past the top of the hour is just rude.
  15. That's why they're the lucky ones.
  16. I've seen far worse. This isn't good but something like Starcade 99 was worse by a mile. Okay how about WWE PPVs?
  17. How does this rank with the all time bad PPVs? I never ordered any of the contenders back in the day, but this feels like a real bottom of the Network era.
  18. *Except for New Day/Usos.
  19. Since Corbin/Nak.
  20. Correct. Looking forward to it! Yeah. A far cry from his debut with the Cena feud. Loved him then but we are along ways away from that.
  21. And I *love* a well worked headlock. Owens' is not that.
  22. I mean, when you get the opportunity, I know some other matches you couls watch... At this rate, with NWAonDemand down, i'm going to have to lose bets just to figure out what to watch. I'll have both of yours watched/written up by the end of this week barring disaster. I'm running casual and noteless tonight. (which means I'm not writing up this Bate/Dunne one either, though I will say that I love how into everything Dunne is. Surly teenager isn't necessarily a hard character, but the commitment is charming). Try the Stardom streaming service. Lots of content and it's broken up into matches. Cosign. Take DDT for a spin -- they have a women's group on their service as well so plenty to mix it up, although DDT is very hit or miss for me. The comedy stuff just doesn't do it for me but they've got some really great, young wrestlers as well. G1 is an obvious go-to. A few fun workers in Sendai Girls which is easily accessible in the archive.
  23. Yes and yes. And yes.
  24. An appropriate finish as that match did to each of us what Corbin just did to Nakamura.
  25. This Corbin match is as boring as the opener was entertaining. I don't get his push at all. He's nothing in the ring and on the mic, along with a zero in look charisma. Just baffling.
