I don't see Cena disappearing, but why the prolonged exit? Felt odd if he's going to be back anytime soon.

Very unfortunate break for Mayu and perhaps Stardom. The decision to award Storm the title on the spot seems quite rushed but we'll see how its handled on subsequent shows.

Really fun Bobby-centric collection on the Network. The type of material you can easily breeze through or have on while doing other things. Guaranteed smiles and laughs.

How have I never heard that Heenan story before? Terrific video last night, really looking forward to seeing it again tonight. Beating the drum here, but not until thinking back about Heenan following his passing did it really occur to me how just how prominent he was as I became a wrestling fan and throughout those formative years. I was very much your typical Hogan junkie and then hopped onto Savage when his moment came. The turn heading into 5 made him the biggest heel I'd known to that point. However, Heenan was that constant foil for Mania's before and after, and more importantly throughout the weekly television. He ensured that I was behind behind every single babyface while serving as the glue and arguably most important weekly character on television. Amazing to think about the trust that was put into him compared with basically any color commentator since then.

For those with NJ World on Fire TV Stick -- is there a quick and handy way to find/navigate to older shows? Let's say I wanted to watch Wrestle Kingdom 10, G1 Climax Night 6 from 2013 or KOPW from 2012. How do I get there without copious scrolling? The search function works to an extent, but seems to bring up very incomplete results.

Cena & Jason Jordan had a really good match to open the show. Not sure if the Jordan gimmick can be salvaged, but Cena tried his best to make him tonight. Another fun Cena/Roman promo segment followed to wrap up a great first half hour.

I'm looking forward to watching this tomorrow or Monday. Never had the highest hopes for round 1 because of time constraints, but am very interested to see how the various talent comes across. I did get a chance to see Progress's shows from NY and Boston. If Dakota Kai isn't earmarked to be a star then all hope is lost.

For those that follow AAA, is anything on the show interesting beyond the main event?

Only guess I can hazard is that casual UFC / sports fans are thinking about it as though its an MMA contest.

Can't wait to catch up on Stardom when I get back from vacation and the 5*GP as it gets posted. Very much agree that Storm over Jungle is more egregious booking than Shirai dropping a fall here. The latter won't mean much and she can put over anyone at any time. Hopefully she was able to carry Mandy to something solid.

So I'm away on vacation but saw through twitter / PWo that Corbin had quite the fitting cash in attempt and result. Best of luck in his future endeavors. I suppose its not his fault he was called up and pushed in such fashion, but not many recent pushes have been so ill fitted from the jump.

Interesting comparison and it sure sounds like a fun exercise. A pair of minor points that may or may not have impacted your thoughts on Naito/Tanahasi. First, Naito does the spitting spot in basically every match. Second, Tanahashi won the IC Title in June at Dominion with the Cloverleaf so this spot was directly building off of that finish.

So who was involved in putting together the main event watched Okada/Evil?

Thoughts and prayers to his family. The man's already pulled through some awful health circumstances in his time. Hopefully there's a miraculous recovery to come.

Exactly. She's absolutely one of my favorite wrestlers and I'm thrilled to see her in a position that likely takes full advantage of her work. But it has to be a setback for her. Here's hoping she is in fact and stays healthy.

I don't find much humor in any of this, but saw some notes on an NSA aide fired today that repeatedly referred to him by his initials -- ECW. That was worth a chuckle.
