Thanks for the clarification, didn't understand at first why the others guys got a pass just because they weren't fired over it.

Michael Elgin wasn't ranked in the PWI 500? the fuck

Amen to that. Just reading that is a very clear reminder of why I stopped watching nxt.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?

I think you're just about the tide turning with Austin Aries showing up the following month. BFG in October kicks off one of my favorite year runs from 2011-2012, until the greatness of 2016. -

I believe Mickie was legit injured, recovering but not fully recovered at that point. I absolutely hated that as the blowoff to what had been a great feud. Madison was killing it at her peak best at that point. Her promos leading up to the Against All Odds match before this were on fire. -
Yeah I thought the Penelope match at Fyter Fest was excellent. the Nyla title change at Double or Nothing was awesome and my favorite match of that show aside from the Stampede. the Britt Baker nose break match was amazing, Britt's best ever IMO, and made me pumped to see a rematch/eventual feud between the two. I think Britt is who eventually dethrones Shida. but yeah I absolutely love Shida and think she is one of the best in the world currently. She always looks great even in her squashes.

WWE TV 08/03 - 08/09 Giannis is a future back to back MVP

I don't watch NXT at all but I am baffled if Cole is a face now? That said, I will absolutely watch anything with McAfee vs HHH on it. I did think the best use of Cole that I've seen was when he had a few main roster matches last year with HHH managing him. They very much had a father/son manager dynamic. Sort of similar to the recent Orton/Flair pairing that I wish they stuck with. -
Agreed I hope Savoy can break away from this and be herself. "Big Swole" being Aerial Monroe's actual wrestling name is bad enough, we don't need Nicole being saddled with being a lesser version of that when she is a much better overall wrestler. Haven't seen a ton of Rachael Ellering, but her Mae Young Classic match with Hiroyo Matsumoto was really great.

Agreed with the majority that Gargano/Ciampa shit killed NXT. That's when I stopped watching. I tried again when they first went to USA but as soon as Ciampa was back I was out for good. Can't stand those guys. Though I do think the Nakamura/Roode title series were some of the best matches in NXT and easily Nakamura's best in the company. Excellent work from both guys and Roode came off like a sure fire mega star, especially when he did the 89 Flair entrance with the women on his arms.

Guessing Cage interrupts Moxley/Darby. I hope Cardona isn't the one to beat Cody for the title.
-
I agree with the Robert Roode mention. Beer Money was excellent for years having great matches with every team around that time, then he had the Aries team which produced lots of good stuff in a shorter timeframe. Then in WWE, his team with Chad Gable was fantastic. They had my favorite Revival matches there, great series.

They made it sound more like Heyman convinced Vince to add them to the list, by pointing out their big money contracts and they alluded to Heyman and other agents not thinking they were worth that for what they were doing on the card.

Glad you managed to finish 2010! Hope to see the eventual following years, late 2011 to late 2012 is one of the best eras. The beginning of 2011 also had peak Madison Rayne greatness there. Angle/Hardy 30 min draw at No Surrender 2010 was one of my favorite matches of that year, loved it. Agreed on Mr. Anderson, someone I never liked in WWE but became so much more enjoyable in TNA. And as we mentioned before, seconding the love for Doug Williams 2010. -
One of my absolute favorite things on the Network. Lex comes off the coolest in the bus clips, the Slam Jam album release party, etc. It's got the original "I'll Be Your Hero" track on the opening music video which is replaced by another song when it airs on SummerSlam 93 on the Network.

Is Charlotte Flair the most overpushed WWE wrestler of the century?
Alucard replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Bayley is what killed Sasha's career. Sasha was on fire in 2016 with the Charlotte series, then Bayley came up and stole all her thunder, won the title, got the WM win, etc. Then when bayley was briefly injured, Sasha shines again in 2017 with the Alexa feud but then it's right back to paired with bayley, always as the sidekick. They finally split them up, Sasha turns heel and has the showstealer with Becky but then no, Bayley turns heel too, gets all the title reigns and Sasha goes right back where she was as not even the brand split could separate them. Their eventual/upcoming feud or whatever will be a huge case of who cares at this point, as they will desperately try to recapture the lightning in a bottle from 2015. -

^ Agreed for sure on that. Taya & Tessa were my two favorite wrestlers of last year. Now they've got so many new hires. Nevaeh and Tenille Dashwood I am huge fans of both, Kimber Lee is great, they just got Deonna Purrazzo who is excellent. Kiera Hogan has been a highlight, Tasha Steelz is a great pickup, Kylie Rae has been impressive. Su Yung is still the best character. Plus Rosemary, Havok, Madison. Really loaded lineup. Also agreed on Team 3D's run, lots of great stuff all throughout their run. the Fish Market Street Fight against Shark Boy and Curry Man remains one of my favorite comedy matches. -

I loved that Alexa run. She was having great matches with a wide variety of opponents, particularly enjoyed the Sasha series in 2017. Charlotte and Carmella took a while to get their chemistry but I think they had a really good match that main event Smackdown in late August 2018. -
WWE TV 05/11 - 05/17 Becky got an announcement to make!

They must be listening. Tonight's RAW had 8 matches with 7 of them being under 4 minutes. -

Bayley is just as overpushed as Charlotte. She's won all three womens titles, including the tags which Charlotte has not held. Her two SD women's title reigns combined have been longer than all 5 of Charlotte's combined. She beat Charlotte for a title 3 separate times including being the first person to beat Charlotte on PPV. Their WM records are almost identical with Charlotte only starting a year ahead. I don't even think Charlotte was ever pushed as hard as Becky's past year, Charlotte never came close to a year+ long title run. I think Charlotte's great and has earned her spot with countless amount of great matches, way more than others. -
"During an interview with Digital Spy earlier this week, Otis said that he would be cashing in on the Smackdown Tag Team Champions. "If I get the briefcase, we're challenging for the Tag Team titles," Otis said. He added, "I don't think there's a rule of what titles to challenge for, so we're going to challenge for the Tag Team titles, cash it in, and that's what's going to happen... if I can get up that ladder."

It comes from an interview with Becky Lynch where she said, "I watched him the other day demonstrate falling off a tower at 74 years old without a bother, brushing his shoulders off and standing up again."
