  1. I just wish we could've got the Final Countdown, that would've been the final piece to making everything perfect. Amazing show
  2. Loved both shows and hope NWA keeps it up. Agreed on not being huge on Murdoch, but thought in the end it worked out pretty well.
  3. Impact goes through peaks and valleys a lot. They get hot and then their roster gets raided. 2016 was a huge peak and then WWE took all the hot acts (Broken Hardys, Lashley, Drew, EC3, Mike & Maria, etc.) a slight down turn in 2017 then back up to a peak in 2018 when they got hot with Callihan/Pentagon, LAX/OGz, Tessa, Brian Cage, etc. but then they lost half of those around the same time. Hopefully they'll be coming back up again. And yeah there was a video with D'Amore doing teases, saying Buddy Murphy was on his way and then teased by saying they were "on the road to Braun for Glory"
  4. Matt Hardy has said he wants to finish his career in AEW, and that he wants a final run with Jeff to happen in AEW. Archer being 44 now, I don't see him having another WWE run. I think he likes the freedom he has and being able to work indys whenever he's home in Texas, plus still having the connection to NJPW. Definitely someone that WWE dropped the ball on though when they did have him, as far as barely attempting to do a thing with him.
  5. Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe!
  6. Right.. it was a Bloodbath and red in the Attitude Era. This was a "Broodbath" and was weird, like when Alexa was spewing black liquid a while back.

  9. NWA just announced an All Womens PPV for August 28, executive produced by Mickie James, along with the NWA 73rd Anniversary on August 29 in St. Louis
  10. Fozzy is going on tour next month (July in to October), but there's only one Wednesday concert so he'll be available. Plus of course AEW will be on the Jericho Cruise again in late October.
  11. For what it's worth, Braun said on Lilian Garcia's podcast late last year that the day he leaves WWE is the day he's done and that he would never wrestle anywhere else.
  12. I don't know if it will be every year, but Tony K confirmed in the post-show media that the Stadium Stampede would be used again "at some point"
  13. NWA has picked up Kylie Rae and JTG for the upcoming PPV.
  14. Very cool for you, enjoy! Fightful has reported that Stadium Stampede will have a "significant live element" to it and are referring to it as a "unique live experience", so it sounds like it's more likely to be half big screen, half live in person.
  15. Really good Thunder Rosa/Kamille match this week. Silly stipulations aside, one of the best Powerrr matches to date as it was actually given some time.
  16. I don't think Callis had been involved much for awhile. D'Amore is the 'final say on everything' guy, Jimmy Jacobs is head of creative along with Robert "RD" Evans and some input from Tommy Dreamer
  17. Alex Shelley hasn't wrestled in about 6 months since deciding to step away during the pandemic due to his work as a physical therapist.
  18. Sucks they are doing this yet again this week, so soon after the last one.
  19. I would absolutely love Shida vs Deonna, since Deonna and Britt are both heels.
  20. Agreed 100% I've loved Shida's run so much and she has killed it in every match she has had. Britt winning the title coming off losses to Thunder Rosa and Nyla not long ago feels off to me, even though the Thunder Rosa one "doesn't count" since it was unsanctioned. I actually felt like it was leading to Sting & Archer teaming up, against I guess Scorpio & Ethan. Though it initially felt like a build to Archer vs Sting for sure and Archer had previously named Sting as the legend he wished he got to work.
  21. This is the same thing they did last year for Slammiversary which coincided with the same April 15 WWE releases. Last year's Slammiversary is when they got Gallows & Anderson, Heath, Eric Young, and EC3 back. Plus Brian Myers shortly after. While the video trailer showed clips of those guys in addition to some who did not show up like Mike Bennett & Maria, Rockstar Spud, and the Bulgarian Flag.
  22. Amazing that Cagematch is only missing 67 matches in that case! They have 3630 listed on his profile.
  23. Agreed , ready to see more Tim back in the ring
  24. Agreed on Bart Gunn. I always wish they kept that momentum and gave him a push as a total badass afterwards, at least something to the level of how his former partner at that time became "Hardcore" Holly.
