  1. with NXT moving to CW tomorrow, NWA is now heading off the CW App. They announced they will be airing the next 5 weeks of episodes on their Twitter page now.
  2. The Vault uploads nwa live event from February 1, 1987: Dutch Mantel vs. Bill Dundee Bob Armstrong vs. Jimmy Garvin Arn Anderson vs. Brad Armstrong Tully Blanchard vs. Wahoo McDaniel Robert Gibson & Ronnie Garvin vs. The Midnight Express (Eaton/Condrey) (Elimination Tag) Dusty Rhodes & Nikita Koloff vs. Ivan Koloff & Vladimir Petrov The Road Warriors vs. Rick Rude & Manny Fernandez (does not include the main event, a Flair/Windham 60 min draw)
  3. Minoru Tanaka vs Christopher Daniels from July 1998.
  4. There were definitely some gems in there and learned a few new things at least. Steve Austin doesn't believe in CTE. Undertaker initially thinking "how can you take away the steel chair from our storytelling" after Benoit. Vince doesn't see where Undertaker was concussed at WM 30 and believes he was more in psychological trauma shock over the Streak being ended. Stephanie, in 2013, believing Mike Tyson hadn't been arrested for rape until after WM 14. Vince claiming no recollection of any lawsuit with Sable. Heyman's story of seeing a wild Vince/Shane disagreement over something Shane pitched, where Vince told Shane he'd have to kill him to do it and offers him the knife.
  5. A set of matches from 1986; Dump Matsumoto & Bull Nakano vs. Velvet McIntyre & Linda Gonzalez (clipped in half) The Crush Gals vs. Leilani Kai & Penny Mitchell Dump Matsumoto & Bull Nakano vs. Susan Starr & Candice Pardue (joined in progress) The Crush Gals vs. Donna Christianello & Judy Martin The Crush Gals vs. Leilani Kai & Black Venus Love the Crush Gals entrance/music
  6. Agreed, he beat Angel Garza when first called up and then never won another singles match again. RAW is going back to 2 hours from October through December
  7. The Nasty Boys vs. Drew McIntyre & Dave Taylor, dark match from November 2007.
  8. Shawn Michaels announced NXT is going on the road for the beginning of the CW era. October 1 in Chicago and October 8 in st. Louis. CM Punk will be in Chicago. Randy Orton said he'll be there for St. Louis. AEW will also be airing Dynamite on 10/8.
  9. Just the small clip of Triple H greeting him as he arrived in the parking lot and that was it
  10. the Leyla/Diamante Texas Deathmatch was a really amazing bloody hardcore brawl. They went all out, I loved it. Meltzer's take: "Probably one of the 2-3 best AEW Women's matches that I've ever seen. Certainly among the best American women's matches this year, maybe the best. It was just an awesome, awesome match."
  11. He says in that interview there was nothing outside that was supposed to happen. "The idea that I forgot to kick out, that's not a thing," he said. "That's not a thing. We don't forget to kick out. Twenty years in, I'm pretty sure there is some kind of muscle memory there. So me forgetting was not the case. There was nothing outside that was supposed to happen. It was a matter of there was a situation, but I'm OK. Everybody's fine, the story continues." "It doesn't affect anything," Priest said. "The show goes on and I think fans are very invested in everything that's going on. The ones that matter knew the situation and nobody thought twice about it. It was, 'move on'."
  12. Didn't expect that coming off the Forbidden door match and surprised to see it happen so suddenly with her vacating both the CMLL women's and women's tag titles, but good for her. A major win for WWE getting an absolutely excellent talent. I hope she excels there
  13. I think it was my favorite match of the night as well. Thought Vaquer looked amazing and have enjoyed Mercedes in all 4 of her AEW matches thus far. PWinsider said there was a ton of internal praise for it afterwards and that Mone' went in to the match with the intention of "making" Vaquer for the US audience
  14. I see the Hangman route as well. Mariah May for the Women's, challenging Toni at Wembley.
  15. And naturally he's dumped in under a minute! Good showing from Kazarian though. I was just waiting for the painfully obvious "Ethan Page was never eliminated" bit but I guess they're dragging it out.
  16. the original saga made the Hardyz the hottest thing in wrestling for a bit there, until they had a month back in WWE.
  17. Jordynne is doing an open challenge on Against all Odds tomorrow which will likely be answered by someone from WWE/NXT as basically the tradeoff. Based off TV, I assumed it'd be Tatum Paxley but she's also hinted at Natalya.
  18. There was 2013's Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies starring Shane Douglas, Roddy Piper, Kurt Angle, Matt Hardy, & Jim Duggan. and 2011's "Monster Brawl" with Kevin Nash, Kurrgan, & Rosemary in it. All else that comes to mind is wrestler-featured but not wrestling-related like Kane's horror series See No Evil (2006) and it's 2014 sequel. And 2011's River of Darkness with Kurt Angle & Glacier starring and Kevin Nash & Sid as killer zombies. But there should definitely be more!
  19. Essentially RAW just traded Andrade for Bron (2 months after making big deals about those two signing with their previous respective brands) And RAW traded Nia Jax to SD for an NXT call up in Kiana while everyone else stayed put thus far.
  20. Fantastic. "Putting his draft obligations in question". Hoping he shows up in a neck brace.
  21. I would've preferred Liv just for the sake of something somewhat fresher, plus the obvious history with Rhea. But they love to make Liv a choke artist. Rumble 23 goes over an hour and is the last one eliminated. Rumble 24 returns from injury at #30 and is the last one eliminated. Elim Chamber, pins Bianca then is immediately the last one eliminated. Tonight, here we go again.
  22. I was thinking the same uncertainty at first about Swerve/Ospreay at Wembley but then realized the face vs face history there so now I kinda want it to be that way. Bret/Bulldog, MJF/Cole, Swerve/Ospreay can all be face/face. I personally loved MJF/Cole last year with both faces and despite teases, neither guy turning on the other at the time.
  23. Indus Sher (Veer and Sanga) have been added to the releases as well.
