  1. Tatanka also did a one off against Lethal the following month in TNA. Chyna's final match, her one in TNA with Kurt Angle vs. Jeff & Karen Jarrett at Sacrifice 2011. I feel like TNA is a probably home of these. Jon Moxley doing a dark match/tryout in 2008 that has since been made available online.
  2. Agreed on Seth doing nothing for me at all either. I feel like they've missed the boat 2-3 times on not trying to turn Corbin face, him getting buried so hard on the main roster that he's back in NXT just to further put over the new guy stinks.
  3. Agreed, I've been loving Garcia's work more than ever lately. He's been on fire since Supercard with Tanahashi at least. His dance kills me every time.
  4. Alicia was indeed the wedding planner that Edge cheated on Vickie with in her first main roster appearance in 2008. Her sister wrestled as Caylee Turner, appeared on the 2011 Tough Enough and was in developmental from 2010-2012 but never made the main roster and left wrestling afterwards. The actual final is Raw finalist vs SD finalist (which the title being on RAW seems to make that winner obvious) so the tournament is 2 triple threats and the 2 winners face off on each show, then the 2 winners for the title at Saudi. Rollins/Edge is my guess while Cody rematches Brock since Brock works Saudi shows.
  5. from the 1987 film "The Red Spectacles" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnjJTQYv5eo
  6. Next month's King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia has been changed now to Night of Champions.
  7. Agreed 100%. They literally replayed the exact finish from Clash at the Castle. It worked then because at least Solo's debut was a surprise. This sucked. Starrcade 97 was one of my first thoughts as well. Completely missing/killing the moment. And agreed as well. Took the one guy that was the freshest, he was unbeaten since the return, had all that momentum and chose to make him just another challenger. Can't just let a babyface be a badass that beats the bad guys and strike while the iron is hot. Very much feels to me like if Cena/Batista lost to JBL/HHH at 21, and of course 93 Luger as someone who was never able to reach that high again.
  8. "That's YOUTUBE PHENOMENON, KSI!"
  9. Cena coming back just to lose once again. That was weak. One finisher puts down Cena in under 15 mins.
  10. Here's impact backstage interviewer Gia Miller's take
  11. That's only if they leave the company, as seen this past week with Taya Valkyrie being dragged in to a casket.
  12. Sad ending to Josh Alexander's record reign, one month short of the full year, as he vacates due to torn triceps. Steve Maclin vs Kushida will determine the new champ next month. Mickie James has a broken rib, cancelling her planned title defenses, and may also vacate if not cleared by April 16. Awful timing ahead of the big Impact/NJPW crossover show Knockouts division still looks great with the recent signing of KiLynn King, now Jody Threat, and using Miyu Yamashita this week.
  13. nwa regulars Brady Pierce, Thrillbilly Silas Mason, & Danny Flamingo have been cast as the Freebirds (Hayes, Gordy, & Buddy respectively)
  14. Congratulations on the end of the ride! This was an awesome thread, I loved it all the way. Great final wrap up review there as well.
  15. With them not showing up in the Casino battle royal tonight, this is looking more and more likely. Especially after this past week with the Observer awards, where AEW's social media shared congratulations to all the winners - except for FTR - including congratulating only the Briscoes for winning Feud of the Year. Their contracts are up next month. Dax says now that they told AEW they would work until then but thinks they're not very happy with them.
  16. She had dislocated ribs and has been out since, while Tay has been dealing with a recurring protrusion in her back and is not medically cleared. Thinking back to last year's Revolution, Tay vs Jade there was still my favorite Jade match and now there's no challengers.
  17. Agreed. I loved everything Alexa did in 2016-2019. She had great matches with almost everybody she wrestled in that timeframe, or at least matches I really enjoyed (Sasha, Asuka, Charlotte, Becky, Ronda, Nia, Naomi, etc) all the Bray stuff is the worst and now the current stuff I'll never understand because as far as I recall - she was basically the one who killed the Fiend, so why go back to that. I did like her brief babyface tag with Asuka last year, they worked well together. Her most recent feud with Bianca didn't seem to click but I thought they were great as the final 2 in the Chamber last year.
  18. Sad, Toxic should've been forever. RIP Toxic Attraction 2021-2023
  19. I thought for sure they would do Rhea vs Bianca now instead of a Rhea vs Charlotte Mania rematch
  20. 17, 23, & 28 are the other April 1 Manias.
  21. I just don't get buying Sami as the guy to beat Roman after all these years, like he's never been presented that way and Roman's been the most unstoppable guy for so long that not even Brock could beat anymore on multiple attempts. Yeah it would get the big pop obviously but it just feels like such a stretch. that or it would be something heavily interference filled which would be a sucky way to end such a run. Cody feels like a star with an aura, has been built up being unbeaten since returning including 3 straight PPV wins over Seth (and Seth was pushed as the guy Roman "couldn't beat", with the DQ finish at last year's Rumble) to the point where it feels believable/right. Only other time I maybe felt that was with Drew last year in Wales and he had been built up with wins for months to that point.
  22. Charlotte was in last year's Rumble as the champion, but I think Rhea wins for sure. Rhea/Bianca was the plan for MITB last year before Rhea got concussed and they never went back to it, but did a little 'walk by each other and make eye contact' backstage scene a few months back to tease it. Otherwise, I would be cool with Raquel winning, being in her hometown. I loved her match with Ronda last month. Her vs Charlotte would be fresh, but I don't imagine they want to do anything to turn Charlotte again quite that quick.
  23. One of my favorite matches! Felt like a truly epic ending to a title reign even though looking back, Orton's reign wasn't really all that long.
  24. Fightful says it was indeed the opening went too long, so they called an audible.
  25. I wish a few legends actually got to wrestle like they used to do with RAW's 15th anniversary, just to give something different. "DX can't wrestle anymore, so you're just gonna get the guys you see every week instead" sucks. But Teddy saved that seg with the best way to announce a match at least.
