"The Miz is LUNGING at an invisible man!" I assumed the Zoey/Trish split was forced/rush because of Trish being done, but I hope not. Also wish we got a Honky appearance.

Alba and Isla losing the tag unification to Ronda and Shayna, only for Ronda and Shayna to then break up the very next week was terrible. And Alba/Isla haven't been on TV now in over 2 months. KC2 came in looking awesome for a few weeks, then they just had them lose a bunch of times in quick matches and killed that.

WWE TV 08/21 - 08/27 OG Dragon Ball is peak action adventure stuff

next week RAW is in Memphis, please bring out Honky Tonk! -
agreed. this is the most I've enjoyed MJF. Thought both MJF & Cole were excellent in laying out their promos as far as why they feel they have to win without crossing any heel turn lies, so I'm hoping they play it face vs face all the way through and beyond. The story has it's heel in Roderick joining up with the Kingdom against them.
-
MJF calling Roderick Strong a "default CAW" was some hilarious shit. I love this Cole-MJF storyline

John Cena also has this where every tag title run he had was with someone he was actively feuding with at that time (Shawn, Batista, David Otunga, & The Miz), though only the Shawn team lasted more than a week.

Agreed 100%. Final should have been Skye/Athena, playing off their history with the excellent ROH women's title match a couple months ago and the fact that the last time (and only time this year) that Athena lost was a tag match against Skye on Elevation. Athena hasn't lost a singles match in AEW/roh other than vs Jade last year, so to have her only other loss be just thrown in the semi final is terrible.

the "wrestle kingdom by Russo" one posted above was hilarious

I'm sad nothing ever came of the aborted Bow Wow/Jade Cargill angle in AEW

Ricky turned heel in the Crockett Cup, using Kerry's junior title as a weapon to advance in the first round. Love Ricky finishing with the Canadian Destroyer here. I think Kerry's becoming a surprisingly great heel so far.

I do hope Punk goes back to the "figure out which Bret match these spots are from" matches that he was doing early on. The first match back with Darby was the one where they mirrored all the Bret/Waltman spots. As far as Punk/Starks, I want more Punk/Joe, throw em on the ROH PPV next week!

Something I thought for sure would be a no brainer and I also thought they said would be in early on, especially with all the comparisons to the n64 games. I mean even WCW REVENGE let you change all the colors.
-
Thought he and Brock Anderson would have potential as a heel Horsemen type team, but after the cool segment where Arn kind of put them together, nothing much ever came of it.
-
Jeff would return 14 years later for the Hardyz ROH Tag Title run in 2017 just before returning to WWE Mention of Michinoku Pro made me think of Undertaker's one off there against Hakushi in 1997.
-
He had two, against Amazing Red and against TJP in 2011. Takao Omori in TNA as well, came in to work Shamrock as a one off in 2002.
-
Tatanka also did a one off against Lethal the following month in TNA. Chyna's final match, her one in TNA with Kurt Angle vs. Jeff & Karen Jarrett at Sacrifice 2011. I feel like TNA is a probably home of these. Jon Moxley doing a dark match/tryout in 2008 that has since been made available online.

Agreed on Seth doing nothing for me at all either. I feel like they've missed the boat 2-3 times on not trying to turn Corbin face, him getting buried so hard on the main roster that he's back in NXT just to further put over the new guy stinks.
-
Agreed, I've been loving Garcia's work more than ever lately. He's been on fire since Supercard with Tanahashi at least. His dance kills me every time.

Alicia was indeed the wedding planner that Edge cheated on Vickie with in her first main roster appearance in 2008. Her sister wrestled as Caylee Turner, appeared on the 2011 Tough Enough and was in developmental from 2010-2012 but never made the main roster and left wrestling afterwards. The actual final is Raw finalist vs SD finalist (which the title being on RAW seems to make that winner obvious) so the tournament is 2 triple threats and the 2 winners face off on each show, then the 2 winners for the title at Saudi. Rollins/Edge is my guess while Cody rematches Brock since Brock works Saudi shows.

Next month's King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia has been changed now to Night of Champions.

Agreed 100%. They literally replayed the exact finish from Clash at the Castle. It worked then because at least Solo's debut was a surprise. This sucked. Starrcade 97 was one of my first thoughts as well. Completely missing/killing the moment. And agreed as well. Took the one guy that was the freshest, he was unbeaten since the return, had all that momentum and chose to make him just another challenger. Can't just let a babyface be a badass that beats the bad guys and strike while the iron is hot. Very much feels to me like if Cena/Batista lost to JBL/HHH at 21, and of course 93 Luger as someone who was never able to reach that high again.

"That's YOUTUBE PHENOMENON, KSI!"

Cena coming back just to lose once again. That was weak. One finisher puts down Cena in under 15 mins.
