Bryan Alvarez on Observer Live: "Yesterday I was told something big is happening on the show. And it's going to be one of those things like everyone's going to be talking about it. So I asked around and nobody would tell me anything but it was confirmed to me that something is happening tonight. I don't know what's happening tonight but I've been told from now several people that something is happening tonight and there's going to be a lot of chit-chat on Twitter after the show apparently."

WWE TV 10/31 - 11/06 The biggest babyface comeback ever

Vague Bryan Alvarez on Observer Live: "All I will say, because I don't know all of the details, but there was stuff going on. I guess the easiest way to describe it is apparently Bodhi was a handful. So it wasn't just "well, let's get rid of this guy" or whatever. But I did hear from multiple people that it wasn't just "we're gonna cut some folks, we're gonna cut this person who was right in the middle of a storyline." There was more to Bodhi's story. That's really all I can say because I don't know what the more is. But you know, you got a bunch of guys and whatever and they're in Florida and there's a loop and God only knows what can happen." -
The whole Firm mess has done nothing but take away from Moxley vs MJF. Like why are those guys even involved in the title match/main event angle. I think babyface Madison Rayne works best as more of an underdog fighting from underneath than the veteran coach.

Late report from Fightful up says Jericho confronted Punk after the fight and told him that he's a cancer to the locker room and a detriment to the company.

Bizarre. I actually enjoyed what I had seen of the first couple XPW shows from this year but this show seemed to go a totally opposite direction. Really leaning in to it too with social media posts about how they're "really giving the fans what they want with Drake Younger in the main event!" When I think of Necro, I think of beloved indy icon, but lately I see him getting hate from a domestic incident from 10 years ago and now using him like this... in addition to Masada also getting "cancelled" recently and that being used in XPW storyline. Just totally all downhill.

New Japan will be stripping Karl Anderson of the NEVER title if he works Saudi over his scheduled title defense. "Attempts to negotiate with Anderson have not been met with a response"
-
Amen to that. It's like each incarnation of Bray gets even goofier as time goes on.

Gallows & Anderson back on RAW. The opening match, a backstage segment, and managing AJ! and you'll get even more Gallows & Anderson on NXT too! And they're back just in time for Karl to get back to Saudi Arabia. (Of course Crown Jewel being the same day as what was Karl's next NEVER title defense in NJPW) I liked the idea of a JBL/Corbin pairing, but nothing at all changed about Corbin's presentation so it kind of just falls flat.

Sounds like same old horribly goofy bray wyatt stuff to me. Split personality and "the fiend" must not be far behind. -

Give us The Bloodline vs DX tonight -
Terribly sad. Touching to see the outpouring of love and support especially considering her wrestling career was so short. They've raised over $50,000 in under 8 hours.

was looking forward to Andrade/10 with the interesting stakes stip, too bad.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
Alucard replied to Loss's topic in Megathread archive
I thought once Corgan got settled in, things got really good. 2016 being one of my favorite years of Impact when things were firing on all cylinders with the legendary Broken Hardys saga, Lashley having a career run as champ, Decay, and great work from Drew, EC3, Mike Bennett, Eddie Edwards, etc. I admit I did love the Dollhouse. Even though original super babyface Taryn was still my favorite version of her, she managed to pull off a great heel run too. Still an entertaining heel today in NWA but never matched that initial babyface run. Of course the music was one of my favorite things Corgan introduced (Hole for Dollhouse, Marilyn Manson for Decay, and briefly using his own music for Spud), which makes it all the more strange how completely opposite Billy is today with the NWA as far as not wanting to use theme music. -
She's on Elevation and Dark this week for the first time in a couple months. I agree that Su Yung is #1 and the best in that regard, but still thought Abadon came off kind of awesome. I loved her Halloween deathmatch with Britt last year and hope they bring her back up to TV for this year's.

Not familiar with this, what was the original finish?

Amen to this, glad to see others finally seeing it. Only ever got popular from trying so hard to be funny on twitter. the firm feels just like a knockoff Pinnacle.
-
I love it for the unique atmosphere. My favorite thing about the WCW Road Wild shows. Bash at the Beach 95 is another that comes to mind that brings amazing visuals.

Glad AEW heard the call!
