  1. Io has so much charisma it's not even funny. She doesn't needs to speak a word of english to connect to a crowd. It still amazes me that WWE still have the mindset that their foreign talent have to fit in with all the others when it comes to promo work.
  2. I'm really pulling for AEW to succeed bad. For the longest the narrative in the US has been that only WWE is the only wrestling promotion that can produce any kind of content and that's far from the case. I hope they stay the course and don't take any drastic measures if ratings doesn't catch on at first.
  3. This was a nothing match and found myself nodding off at some parts, but that opening video package was a thing if beauty. It screamed everything great about the territories back in the day.
  4. What a banger this was, not surprising based on who was in the match. Your standard tough man battle with hell of stiff strikes and lariats, great stuff.
  5. The wedding ceremony cheesy but had me chuckling at certian parts. If Johnny Swinger's gimmick is a guy who's stuck in the 90s then I'm all for it. The big angle with Callihan/Cage went over well. Using Santos to move things along was the logical choice to make things more heated between the two. Also everyone is talking about how fun FOX announcers promoting Smackdown, well you can have that cause I'm ready for seeing Steve Harvey promoting the hell out of Impact.
  6. Who's a wrestler that's both a blessing and a curse? I've gotta go with The Rock. Blessing: A once in a lifetime talent that could make anything work based on his charisma and delivery. Curse: Through no fault of his own his greatness set the template that WWE wants all of their babyfaces to go by.
  7. Cool topic for sure. I remember when my brother and I was younger our mom, aunts, and grandmother told us numerous stories about going to the Omni. Them going to sold out shows featuring Flair, Rhodes, Thunderbolt Patterson, and countless others.
  8. I wouldn't go that far but he's improving.
  9. Corbin should only work with smaller guys for the rest of his career.
  10. Cool, she should win the title from Crist then hold it for bit to cash in on Callihan.
  11. That was a fantastic send off for LAX. From the showing of past clips, the tag match with Mack/Swann, and everyone coming down to salute presented them as one of the greatest acts in company history. They had such a great run they've leapfrogged over Homicide/Hernandez as my favorite incarnation of LAX. Bound for Glory is looking to be another stellar show from Impact and I'm guessing they'll be adding Tessa/Crist for the X Division title soon. Would've been cool if it was Aeroster who revived Su Yung after Havok killied, god I miss Lucha Underground wackiness.
  12. A suberb battle of attrition with Yoshino working over the arm despite Mochizuki's best efforts. Then things escalate even more with both having a who's the toughest exchanges with chops and kicks. Top it off the nearfalls that the crowd bought in and a great finish this was a sure banger for 2014.
  13. It would've been better if Shane Douglas broke the news.
  14. With 205 Live being gone soon I just don't see where Gable goes from here, maybe a little stint on NXT?
  15. This was a damn good final, I will forever remember the 2019 KOTR for when Baron Corbin put on three of the best performances of his career.
  16. Their playing the underdog card so there's a chance Gable will win.
  17. Fun trios stuff from these six, wish it was longer.
  18. Enjoyable edition of Raw that flew by quick. I'm good with the heel turn but part of me wish they would've teased things in the vine of Luger/Sting in 95 with Bayley/Sasha.
  19. It is astounding how Vince forgot how to portray a monster.
  20. Good match with Corbon/Alexander, they kept the crowd engaged. Gotta give props this is the second week of Corbin having a good performance.
  21. An intense bloodbath that conveyed hatred at it's highest level. These two tried to murder eachother with various weapons, especially the hammer. When a plunder match is done right it can be a beautiful spectacle and this was a case of it.
  22. What a great debut for Elgin in Big Japan and he couldn't of had a better opponent that Daisuke Sekimoto. Big beefy guys doing big beefy guy things in this one, bomb throwing trying prove who's the best with a little sprinkle of an areial assault from both. Add this to the sneaky good year Elgin has been having so far.
  23. I'm getting tired of promotions backtracking after huge angles, with this and AEW with the Spears/Cody chairshot. If you're going to do it then own it don't apologize.
