Kane busted out an AWESOME chair-assisted guard-barrier powerslam on Bryan that nobody acknowledged.

Looks like somebody else lost their first name.

Oh come on. I know "big guys suck"and all that, but nobody gives a shit about him? No market for his style?
  4. Small world, I saw those too! In that side room with all the Godzilla stuff.
  5. I learned a lot about geography like others have said, but I learned some bad stuff too that I didn't realize was bad at the time. I wrote a WW2 paper in school and mentioned something about dropping a bomb on the "Japs"and had it returned to me with a red arrow pointing to it saying "not very PC!" All because Gorilla Monsoon called Yokozuna a Jap on TV. I just thought it was a harmless word.
  6. If you thought the forklift was too attitude, fair enough, but how did it not work? Was Bryan supposed to carry Kane on his back 200 yards to the ring?
  7. Mick Foley once jokingly said that a lot of wrestlers would steal all his cool shit, leaving him with just the really painful stuff that nobody else would go near. Anybody catch Barrett using of all things, the Cactus Elbow tonight? He even did the bang bang! Thought that was a very random addition to his moveset.
  8. I don't know if they're considered "dream"matches, but there's a ton of matches I wanna see from the current roster. All involving combinations of Bryan/Lesnar/Shield/Cesaro.
  9. I liked a lot on this show. I didn't think the forklift was stupid either, the match was no holds barred but Bryan had to pin Kane in the ring. Kane was knocked out, Bryan would have had to take forever to carry him back to pin him and risk Kane regaining consciousness. The forklift allowed him to speed up the process.
  10. Where was it announced that Tough Enough is returning?

Speaking of Waylon Mercy/Wyatt Family types, did anybody catch Bull Buchanan in OVW after he was demoted from the main roster but before B2? He was supposed to be doing a Waylon Mercy gimmick down there. I think he had an inherent creepiness just like Spivey that could have worked. Not sure how long it lasted, never heard much about it.
  12. Thoughts on any initial resentment from the WWE locker room?
  13. That entire stream of consciousness rambling killed me. So good.
  14. According to WWEdvdnews.com, Raven is interviewed for the upcoming Paul Heyman DVD. I believe this will be the first time Scott Levy has done anything for the company since leaving in 2003.
  15. Santino was today's guest and it was surprisingly good. Santino tells the entire history of his character without dropping kayfabe and it's much funnier than you would expect. It's kind of refreshing for somebody to stay in character all the time. I'm not a Santino fan, but if they let him act like this on TV I could get behind him.
  16. This is true and accurate. But I'd also like one opportunity to pop for Sting having a moment on WWE TV. Depending when Batista returns and how long the Evolution reboot lasts, it could be as simple as having Flair return as manager to help lay out a babyface heading into another big tag match. Bryan says they're not showing up empty handed, and if Evolution has Flair in the fold there's only one way to counter that. And then send him off to the network. I can't see that working as part of a serious angle. I think there's a reason why Flair hasn't been hooked up with the new Evolution. The dude is Piper-levels of crazy and out of touch and should not be used on live TV. I'm not entirely opposed to Sting used in a way where he's not the focus, but if they're going to bring up the Sting/Flair rivalry in 2014 then it's going to come off the same way as when they do Slaughter/Sheik at the Legends reunion shows.
  17. I fail to see how Sting could bring in lapsed fans. I feel the only fans who would be excited for Sting are small groups of the fans who already watch. This isn't Rock or Austin coming back.
  18. Has Todd Gordon ever made any media appearances after ECW? I don't think I've ever seen him on the convention scene, Indy scene, shoots, etc. He's definitely a guy I would be interested in hearing from.
  19. I think a big problem with Cody is that he often wrestles like a heavyweight but it just doesn't look credible at his size and with his body type. I'm not gonna say he's too small to be in the business, but Cody is very, very small and I don't think he's ever really wrestled like someone his sizeshould. He was definitely miscast as a heel. I think he could be good as a work from underneath type. Like Sean Waltman but not as ugly.
  20. The Warrior push was never meant to lead to anything in ring though, just the Hall of Fame with the Raw appearance as an extra. Nobody wanted to see fifty year old Warrior in the ring and I don't think there's anything they can do to get people interested in actually seeing Sting wrestle. His crow character doesn't really lend itself to an authority type role either.
  21. Started a Sting/Current WWE thread.
  22. I posted this in the Kane/Bryan thread and thought it deserved it's own topic: In all fairness, is Sting at the same level as a guy like Booker T? Meaning it's cool when he shows up, but it's not going to be treated as a major deal? Booker had a WWE run where he was pretty over in the public eye for close to a decade. The last time Sting was higher than that level with the general public was what, 1998? His last two years in WCW he was just another guy on the roster. And spending a decade in TNA pretty much means he's spent the last decade in obscurity. Would people be petitioning for a Booker T/Undertaker WrestleMania match at this stage? No, nobody would. And I am 100% confident that Booker would pull a better match out of Taker at this stage. I get it that once upon a time Sting was a big deal, but that ship sailed years ago. I fail to see how lapsed WCW fans would all of the sudden decide to watch WWE just for Sting. This seems to be quite the hot topic everytime Sting's TNA status is uncertain. Well, it looks like he's finally done with TNA, so Sting/WWE rumors have started up again. I don't think he has a place on-air. I do not want to see him wrestle anyone on the roster and he's not a strong enough talker to be placed in other roles. Showing up on documentaries and doing the eventual Hall Of Fame is exactly what I would do with Sting in 2014. What are your thoughts on Sting's place in current WWE?

Heel managers that hate each other is one of my favorite wrestling stories and we don't get it nearly enough. I have no doubt this would be awesome.

An RVD/Kofi team playing up Kofi's Jamaican connections and Rob being... Rob would have been my favorite ECW tag team at age 18.
