    Terry Rudge

A lock for my top 50. I gave Regal a 4 disc Rudge set I had last year after his spoken word show, he seemed pleased as punch with it.
  2. Quite a nice mix of people that you're enjoying. Being in the NW of England I normally get the same faces most shows. I really should get to more shows than PCW really. I have been to GPW a couple of times over the years, as well as reffing for them before. I think someone who gets some love, but someone I think some PWO posters (Bill Thompson) would love Jack Gallagher. I'm going to check out Tyler Bate, as what you've said has intrigued me. Martin Kirby and El Ligero are two of the most consistent workers in the world in my eyes and are always great value. Kirby doing the Zoidberg elbow is a good example of his silliness.
  3. Nice mix of promotions you've got there. I mainly stick to shows in my area/locale so I never really get as far south as the Midlands for shows. Who do you rate as the top tier UK workers at the moment out of interest?
  4. Last time that happened was the Slammy Awards episode in 2013, I think.

    LA Park

What is LA Park like before his run as La Parka. Any decent 80's footage of him?
  6. Misawa Kawada Kobashi Taue 1 and 2 are virtually neck and neck.
  7. I agree with Grimmas, something, anything different to freshen up the show as it's completely behind stale now in it's current format.
  8. Nice review of the show. What other indie promotions do you check out?
  9. Don't mistake boring with patterned, logical storytelling.
  10. There is a pre-show on the network already with Corey Graves and Otunga etc already.
  11. Did anyone check out the show with Lance and/or Dan?

    Ron Simmons

I totally lost interest in Ron Simmons when he worked ECW in 1994. This original Farooq Asad run in 1996 wasn't much either. No where near top 100 for me as a single.
  13. You could have some top heel (Hall for example) starting to use a chair as a foreign object to get wins. La Parka takes exception to this and start's a feud with Hall based on him being the Chair Man - leading to a chairs match at a PPV. La Parka wins and you've got a new main event type face.
  14. I'll probably go back to watching RAW full time if it goes back to 2hrs. I can't see that happening any time soon however.
  15. The Jerry Lawler WWE Documentary - woefully lacking in places, but still a really enjoyable trip down memory lane. Especially to see Vince admit he was jealous of the press coverage the Kaufman Lawler feud got.

    LA Park

I don't think absurd is the correct adjective to use really, but there we go.

    LA Park

The perception is due to a slew of mexican's all being brought on to TV around the same time all bar Parka being smaller workers - Remember Konnan was the other non Cruiserweight, but he was positioned straight away in the US Title picture.
  19. JR noted this week that's it's about 35% likely to happen at this point.
  20. A lock for my top 10. My favourite Joshi wrestler ever.
  21. I think that they did admirably once the ropes became loose early on in the match. I thought it was a really fun overall. I am glad that Akito finally took off Irie's kneepad when he was working over the knee as that was the obvious logical next step. **** from me.
  22. Please Parv, make it. I am all ears.
  23. Sure they would. I would agree with this, if it was recorded for podcast one at the BSR, but it was recorded for WWE initially, with Vince sat right there listening.
  24. It was the standard script they followed as part of the attraction match it was. This certainly seems to be the reasonable answer though I'm disappointed it's not something more exotic. Has any non-lucha promotion ever used the minis as a regular part of the show? Obviously they were in a bit of an angle with Bundy/Jim leading up to WM3 and I remember them popping up in for a few weeks in like 96-97 when the WWF was throwing a bunch at the wall, but other than that? The reason they were doing the minis in 1997 was the deal they had with AAA at the time.
