    Indie Guys

I rode with London last weekend and he ain't batshit crazy, just crazy but not in a scary WTF way! I also think he deserves a look as he's been around now for 15 years.
  2. He is the current Preston City Wrestling champion over here. He's had some cracking matches against the likes of Joey Hayes, Dave Mastiff, ReDragon, Chris Hero, Uhaa Nation and Rampage Brown that have made tape.
  3. TNA's version of WrestleMania - Bound For Glory.

    Bobby Eaton

A lock for my list. Great for so many years.

    Doug Furnas

Agree with Alan on this one, he was so much fun, but 95+% of this was in a tag team with Kroffat. Not a top hundred singles candidate at all.
  6. I used to order from Strong Style Tapes in the early-2000s. Wasn't that Mark Petar? The guy who got busted selling bootleg ROH videos at the FWA/ROH Frontiers of Honor show. Yes, this is talked about in the following podcast I did earlier this week: http://wrestlingeye.libsyn.com/wrestling-eye-podcast-episode-7-talking-with-longtime-fan-and-podcaster-mark-ren
  7. No takers? Maybe I am the only one who'd find this useful as I have a sieve for a brain at times.
  8. Did Rob take payment by milk tokens or did he say that he doesn't take that form of payment? Either way either he liked milk a lot or someone tried to actually pay using those tokens, which make me chuckle.
  9. Rob did indeed do well for himself out of it all, however he did have to be around every 4hrs to change tapes so he couldn't really stray far from his house! Thanks for the comments MM, appreciate it!
  10. Glen and Rob were both super reliable. Rob did sell his business to GWI who were at one point if memory serves based out of the Arndale Centre in Manchester selling tapes and merch. I don't recall 5 star tapes, however in my latest episode myself and long time fan Mark Ren take a trip down memory lane and talk the tape trading and fanzine scene in the UK in the 90's which if you were around then is well worth a listen.
  11. Using that sample it looks like Big Daddy is fucked again. *sigh*.
  12. Welcome to episode 7 of Wrestling Eye Podcast! I am joined today by longtime wrestling fan and podcaster Mark Ren. Direct link: http://wrestlingeye.libsyn.com/ http://traffic.libsyn.com/wrestlingeye/Episode_7.mp3 Mark has been a fan of US Wrestling here in the UK since 1987! We talk about Marks memories of wrestling growing up, moving to being a hardcore fan, the UK trading and fanzine scene in the 90's, attending live shows, our thoughts on the current WWE main event scene and much much more! A fun show with Mark as we take a trip down memory lane. 13. He's someone who I've always liked, but for me to include him I'd like to see more of him in Stampede.
  14. Just came across this and I must say great work!
  15. That was really informative Mark, thank you.
  16. I've advocated for El Dandy.

    Stan Hansen

Really enjoyed the two matches that I have seen so far vs. Colon, as before hand I'd only really been exposed to his 90's AJPW run. Definitely someone I need to dedicate a lot more time too.
  18. Tier 3: The Ascension vs. Kalisto and Sin Cara NXT Takeover 2 9/11/14

    Indie Guys

I have the mindset as Parv to be fair. Could do with some primers myself here.

    Ricochet

Ricochet is so crisp in the ring, the Ibushi match is one of my favourite high flying style matches of the year - I am looking forward to seeing some more of his pre 2014 stuff.

    GWE Podcasts

I may plan an episode in the coming 12 months talking the UK candidates.

    Vader

A top 25 pick for me, he's shown he can work a variety of styles extremely well and get over in front of many different audiences. Arguably the greatest super-heavyweight ever, and in hindsight was a better pick than Hellwig for the Vader moniker/gimmick!

    Marty Jones

I am a big Marty Jones fan I am strongly considering him for a top 100 place. I will concede that there are better overall workers than Marty, however where Marty's strengths lie is in his ability to get a good match out of almost anybody. Also his dropkick is awesome.
