No show thread this week? I didn't even have any desire to tune in. Is the bloom finally off the rose?
Cody vs. Dustin deserved that MOTY though, and man, what a swank plaque.
Heyman seems to cool off on people though, or Vince cools off on them for him.
We've already seen it with Cedric Alexander, Mike Kanellis, and Vic Joseph. I'm astounded Buddy Murphy is still being featured. I wonder if Seth took a liking to him and lobbied for him.
Definitely true.
Did any kind of concussion or injury result from that though? No.
While I agree that a concussion can happen at any time for any reason, I do think he's safer in WWE, where they'll pull a guy out the minute something is amiss (like Wolfe).
WWE isn't perfect, but they're a lot safer than the alternatives. Wolfe being taken out of the match last night is proof that WWE bends over backward usually with stuff like this.
Man, Bryan getting multiple concussions and ending up a drooling vegetable in Brie's lap after working an unsafe Japanese/indie (AEW) style makes me hurt inside too.
Yes, tons of dream matches in that scenario, but this really is what's best for Bryan the man and his long-term health.
Great Rumble, awful winner.
The spoiled brat "Queen" has never been less over and has never been less interesting.
I'm glad Shayna didn't win though. That would've been another huge yawn.
They should've gone all the way with Belair, or even let Naomi's overlong near elimination spot lead to a win.
I was honestly expecting Rousey to make a surprise return and win. I'm actually still kinda shocked that she didn't.
Agreed. That and the final ten minutes with the Usos/Roode-Ziggler and the brawling spots were fun at least. Wish it was shorter overall and began with the high points. Not everything needs to be overlong and overdone.
