  1. Where do you work? Is it horrible that I'd consider hanging that poster up? It's so hilarious! Between Ward from Agent of SHIELD's punchable face and HBK, not to mention TV veteran Neill Flynn (The Middle) and movie vet D.B. Sweeney, I'm actually curious about the movie now.
  2. The Bruno episode of Legends With JBL was great. My only disappointment is that it wasn't longer. It barely scratched the surface of his career - hardly any time was spent discussing each of his opponents, title reigns, and feuds. Zbyszko wasn't even mentioned at all. Still, it's awesome for what it is. I agree. The ONLY thing that gives this silly rumor any credibility with me, and it's flimsy at best, is that Shawn's movie - The Resurrection of Gavin Stone - is getting a January 2017 release, right around the time of the Royal Rumble. `
  3. What more do you want from neck surgery news? "Ok. And? And she started snorting coke with the doctor and nurses. Then they all had an orgy with Alberto. After she was put under the knife, they got some HLA Katie Vick-style action going. Paige's father tweeted his strongest disapproval at the way his daughter's medical care was handled." Edit: Never mind. You were responding to that weird Twitter gif. Not sure what to make of that myself.
  4. Probably better for Sasha and Charlotte, honestly. Having them main event didn't feel organic. Then again, forcing all of these matches into the Cell because of a stupid themed PPV is even worse.

  6. Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, and Paul Heyman I thought Orton was awesome and had a ton of potential in the early stages of his career as a cocky pretty boy. The Randy News Network reports were great. Then he morphed into the one-dimensional "tough guy" Viper character that he could never adequately pull off IMO. There's nothing "badass" about him. It's the same reason Raven never worked for me. The worst characters in wrestling scream "fake" and that's The Viper and Raven in a nutshell. Brock was never someone I loved, but his early stint as "The Next Big Thing" was great and exciting. Contrast that with his one-trick pony matches now. "Suplex City" is the biggest con of all time. Paul has taken his "hide the negatives and accentuate the positives" philosophy from ECW and applied it in the biggest way possible to Brock, and everyone's eating that shit up and thinking it tastes like cotton candy. Plus, the guy is an absolute albatross and liability at this point. He did nothing for Ambrose at WrestleMania, concussed Orton at SummerSlam, and has become a boring waste of time in general. Heyman has gone from an electrying screen presence to a one-note dullard. The Dangerous Alliance is quite possibly my favorite stable of all time, and I loved ECW. But he makes me yawn these days. Every single promo he cuts now goes something like this: "Ladies and gentleman, my name is Paul Heyman, and I am here as the Advocate for THE BEAST, THE CONQUERER, BAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOCCCK LES-NAR. At [insert PPV here], my client Brock Lesnar will face [insert opponent here], my client Brock Lesnar will [insert violent action here], my client Brock Lesnar will [blah blah blah]." Same shit every time.
  7. As ridiculous as I find this thread because it takes the absolute worst and most embarrassing aspects of internet fandom - dissecting minutia and coming up with skewed conclusions - I thought this was worth re-posting here: Foley's Facebook comment and picture confirming that Charlotte and Sasha will indeed be main eventing Hell in a Cell. https://www.facebook.com/RealMickFoley/photos/a.150133228350157.28288.126269440736536/1440544925975641/?type=3 (includes picture) His comment seems...fine. UPDATE: Foley edited his statement.

Looks like Charlotte and Sasha will indeed be main eventing Hell in a Cell. https://www.facebook.com/RealMickFoley/photos/a.150133228350157.28288.126269440736536/1440544925975641/?type=3 (includes picture)
  9. Oh boy... Alberto is still married. From Alberto's wife's lawyer: “Of course, Paige should watch carefully how Alberto is denying and treating his current wife and the mother of his children in this divorce. History repeats itself.” http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/del-rio-wife-lawyer-responds-engagement/
  10. Not to put a damper on the happy couple, but could Paige get in trouble for her presumably unauthorized appearance on another company's show? Is this something that has the potential to bite Paige, Alberto, and WWC in the ass legally?
  11. What "trauma" are you referring to? The neck injury or something else? (Something from her past?)
  12. Eh, I don't care about Joe. I don't care about their feud. A manufactured "heated" brawl doesn't interest me because Joe doesn't interest me. I think he's past his prime. With that said, I recognize there are at least a year of "epic dream matches" (yawn) for him on Smackdown that the dudebro "this is awesome!" fans will salivate over. I'm actually in favor of him being called up because there's nothing left for him in NXT IMO.
  13. Ironically, Gallows and Anderson would have benefited from a few months in NXT. They're currently over on the main roster like a wet fart in church - meaning not at all. Part of that isn't their fault - they never win the "big one" - but they're not very interesting characters either. They were fun when they were teasing the "will they or won't they?" stuff with AJ, and I suspect that would have continued with Finn, but his injury put a crimp in any such plans (if any existed to begin with). As for Itami, this whole situation sucks - and even worse, it was entirely unnecessary. I figured he would have been called up to Raw or Smackdown after his first injury. Why waste even more time in NXT? Especially when they dropped the whole "who attacked Itami?" angle, which could have been really interesting and fun (despite WWE's reputation for not handling "mysteries" well). Samoa Joe would have been fine for that spot, and it would have been a fresh, interesting match - far more appealing than Joe vs. Nakamura II, that's for sure. NXT feels like it's in such a holding pattern right now, and heatless rematches are the last thing anyone wants. It's beyond obvious that Nakamura will retain, so why bother? And if he doesn't, that's even worse. For Joe's sake, I hope he gets called up to Smackdown. He would be instantly lost in the shuffle on Raw. I'm sure some dudebro "This is Awesome!" type considers Joe vs. Lesnar a "dream match" but no one in Titan Towers feels that way and neither do I.

    NXT talk

Asuka vs. Mickie James is a very pleasant surprise, but it hides a few problems with the current NXT Women's Division: 1. The division has fallen far from the glory days of The Four Horsewoman. 2. There are obviously no women "worthy" of getting a title shot, so they had to bring back a "name." 3. Asuka isn't over at all. She's ice cold and hasn't connected with the audience in any way. As skilled as she is, I certainly don't give a shit about her. A Nakamura-Joe rematch also doesn't excite me in the least, but that's probably because I'm not a Joe fan.
  15. Can you summarize the news for those of us who don't want to go to that spyware-infested deathtrap of a site? (I assume it's about Billy Corgan suing Dixie.)

    WWE No Mercy

I personally love the shorter PPV times, but they need to be the norm. They're not. Raw's last PPV went long, which in WWE's world means "epic." Therefore, for the second PPV in a row, Smackdown looks like a second-class citizen.
  17. Damn. http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/hideo-itami-injured-neck-video/ Twitter video: https://twitter.com/pwunlimited/status/782698358116757504/video/1 This really sucks, and it's one of the drawbacks of the NXT program - world class wrestlers facing green-as-grass rookies. I realize they need to learn, but there has to be a better way.
  18. My guess is because she's still on Total Divas and probably can't be edited out. If it weren't for that, I assume she'd already be gone.
  19. WWE just fired back hard at Paige in the NY Post. “Saraya-Jade Bevis tested positive for an illegal substance, not a prescription drug,” WWE’s statement to The Post read. “In addition, WWE is providing world-class medical care for her in-ring injury.” http://nypost.com/2016/10/11/wwe-fires-back-at-banned-beauty-spreading-lies-about-drug-test/
  20. Ricky Knight, Paige's papa, posted this on Facebook: Ricky Knight 33 mins · ok here we go again yes i know about my daughters suspended once again she has not failed a drugs test. My daughter has had a long term neck injury which imo has not been dealt with. i have ask my daughter to return to UK For help with this injury as help and direction in the USA Has not been forthcoming imo. She has been in pain and out of in ring action for a fair while now and has been prescribed pain killers which apparently is against the wellness program. i feel my daughter has been let down big time in the USA and the proper care and advice needed in the position she has been in has not happened to say i am pissed off with the situation is an understatement, this is my statement i am not open to questions thankyou for your cooperation. https://www.facebook.com/wawno1fan/posts/10157530701130453

  22. Alberto's immature girlfriend Wellness'ed again: Paige suspended for 60 days STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE has suspended Saraya-Jade Bevis (Paige) for 60 days effective immediately, for her second violation of the company’s talent wellness policy. http://www.wwe.com/article/paige-suspended-60-days

Great match, lousy finish. Dolph's HBK cosplay is horrendous, especially since HBK himself buried Dolph for it on the Stone Cold Podcast.

    WWE No Mercy

So, Orton vs. Wyatt - the least interesting match on the show with the two least interesting wrestlers on the roster - is being positioned as the new "main event"?
