  1. Oh boy... Alberto is still married. From Alberto's wife's lawyer: “Of course, Paige should watch carefully how Alberto is denying and treating his current wife and the mother of his children in this divorce. History repeats itself.” http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/del-rio-wife-lawyer-responds-engagement/
  2. Not to put a damper on the happy couple, but could Paige get in trouble for her presumably unauthorized appearance on another company's show? Is this something that has the potential to bite Paige, Alberto, and WWC in the ass legally?
  3. What "trauma" are you referring to? The neck injury or something else? (Something from her past?)
  4. Eh, I don't care about Joe. I don't care about their feud. A manufactured "heated" brawl doesn't interest me because Joe doesn't interest me. I think he's past his prime. With that said, I recognize there are at least a year of "epic dream matches" (yawn) for him on Smackdown that the dudebro "this is awesome!" fans will salivate over. I'm actually in favor of him being called up because there's nothing left for him in NXT IMO.
  5. Ironically, Gallows and Anderson would have benefited from a few months in NXT. They're currently over on the main roster like a wet fart in church - meaning not at all. Part of that isn't their fault - they never win the "big one" - but they're not very interesting characters either. They were fun when they were teasing the "will they or won't they?" stuff with AJ, and I suspect that would have continued with Finn, but his injury put a crimp in any such plans (if any existed to begin with). As for Itami, this whole situation sucks - and even worse, it was entirely unnecessary. I figured he would have been called up to Raw or Smackdown after his first injury. Why waste even more time in NXT? Especially when they dropped the whole "who attacked Itami?" angle, which could have been really interesting and fun (despite WWE's reputation for not handling "mysteries" well). Samoa Joe would have been fine for that spot, and it would have been a fresh, interesting match - far more appealing than Joe vs. Nakamura II, that's for sure. NXT feels like it's in such a holding pattern right now, and heatless rematches are the last thing anyone wants. It's beyond obvious that Nakamura will retain, so why bother? And if he doesn't, that's even worse. For Joe's sake, I hope he gets called up to Smackdown. He would be instantly lost in the shuffle on Raw. I'm sure some dudebro "This is Awesome!" type considers Joe vs. Lesnar a "dream match" but no one in Titan Towers feels that way and neither do I.

    NXT talk

Asuka vs. Mickie James is a very pleasant surprise, but it hides a few problems with the current NXT Women's Division: 1. The division has fallen far from the glory days of The Four Horsewoman. 2. There are obviously no women "worthy" of getting a title shot, so they had to bring back a "name." 3. Asuka isn't over at all. She's ice cold and hasn't connected with the audience in any way. As skilled as she is, I certainly don't give a shit about her. A Nakamura-Joe rematch also doesn't excite me in the least, but that's probably because I'm not a Joe fan.
  7. Can you summarize the news for those of us who don't want to go to that spyware-infested deathtrap of a site? (I assume it's about Billy Corgan suing Dixie.)

    WWE No Mercy

I personally love the shorter PPV times, but they need to be the norm. They're not. Raw's last PPV went long, which in WWE's world means "epic." Therefore, for the second PPV in a row, Smackdown looks like a second-class citizen.
  9. Damn. http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/hideo-itami-injured-neck-video/ Twitter video: https://twitter.com/pwunlimited/status/782698358116757504/video/1 This really sucks, and it's one of the drawbacks of the NXT program - world class wrestlers facing green-as-grass rookies. I realize they need to learn, but there has to be a better way.
  10. My guess is because she's still on Total Divas and probably can't be edited out. If it weren't for that, I assume she'd already be gone.
  11. WWE just fired back hard at Paige in the NY Post. “Saraya-Jade Bevis tested positive for an illegal substance, not a prescription drug,” WWE’s statement to The Post read. “In addition, WWE is providing world-class medical care for her in-ring injury.” http://nypost.com/2016/10/11/wwe-fires-back-at-banned-beauty-spreading-lies-about-drug-test/
  12. Ricky Knight, Paige's papa, posted this on Facebook: Ricky Knight 33 mins · ok here we go again yes i know about my daughters suspended once again she has not failed a drugs test. My daughter has had a long term neck injury which imo has not been dealt with. i have ask my daughter to return to UK For help with this injury as help and direction in the USA Has not been forthcoming imo. She has been in pain and out of in ring action for a fair while now and has been prescribed pain killers which apparently is against the wellness program. i feel my daughter has been let down big time in the USA and the proper care and advice needed in the position she has been in has not happened to say i am pissed off with the situation is an understatement, this is my statement i am not open to questions thankyou for your cooperation. https://www.facebook.com/wawno1fan/posts/10157530701130453
  13. Saraya is throwing a tantrum on Twitter:
  14. Alberto's immature girlfriend Wellness'ed again: Paige suspended for 60 days STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE has suspended Saraya-Jade Bevis (Paige) for 60 days effective immediately, for her second violation of the company’s talent wellness policy. http://www.wwe.com/article/paige-suspended-60-days

    WWE No Mercy

Great match, lousy finish. Dolph's HBK cosplay is horrendous, especially since HBK himself buried Dolph for it on the Stone Cold Podcast.

    WWE No Mercy

So, Orton vs. Wyatt - the least interesting match on the show with the two least interesting wrestlers on the roster - is being positioned as the new "main event"?

    WWE No Mercy

Is it just me or do all the moves seem super low impact?

    WWE No Mercy

That's a relief, at least. Glad I didn't miss it.

    WWE No Mercy

It does make a difference though. I missed Thwagger-Corbin because it was on the pre-show. Kinda disappointed, because I was kinda looking forward to that and couldn't care less about the pointless tag match I did see.
  20. Apparently, Alberto was stabbed. Explanation: https://www.instagram.com/p/BLH2szPhUOE/ Image (warning: slightly graphic): https://www.instagram.com/p/BLH3IV3hMtT/
  21. I watched the new episodes of Ride Along and Table For 3 the other night. Ride Along: This is even more obviously fake than it was before. Charlotte acted like a spoiled brat and gave Ric the silent treatment for 25 minutes (I believe this was filmed right before she turned on him) while JBL and Cole were completely cruel cunts to Byron, who is always smiling, happy, positive, and ready to his job. While I realize there's no way some of what happened could be real, their animosity toward him didn't seem entirely faked to me. JBL and Cole came across as bullies. #BeAStar! Table For 3: Nothing special, but some fun road stories. Poor Mark Henry comes across as really dimwitted.

    WWE TV 9/26-10/2

No matter how shitty Raw is, all is right with the world on Smackdown because of posters like this.
  23. I think I'm the only one who liked the cluster KO/Rollins/Jericho booking. At least it injected some much-needed excitement in an otherwise dull card and actually provided some follow-up on Jericho's victory over Zayn. Zayn-Jericho and Perkins-Kendrick never shifted out of first gear. Rusev-Reigns wasn't much better. As much as I love Zayn, it pains me to agree with goc - he's brought none of the magic from NXT with him. Part of that is WWE booking him as "just another guy" randomly all over the card. There's no progress with him. One minute he's in I-C matches or grudge feuds with Owen, the next minute he's in a JTTS team with Neville. Cesaro-Sheamus was a beast of a match, but Mick Foley can kiss MY arse if he thinks that was a good finish.
  24. You really expected him to lose his first title defense?! Match was kind of meh, disappointing by CWC standards, but I'm glad the feud is continuing.
  25. New Day is stale, but Gallows and Anderson aren't over. May as well give New Day the record at this point. Heel turn with that Francesa finish? I doubt it, but it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
