Probably highly unethical and potentially illegal to fire Colt for that - not that it'd ever happen, but still.
This.
But it might be enough of a deterrent to keep Punk from signing. It's an awkward situation, and who wants to put themselves through that?
Like Bryan, I'll believe it when I see it.
Wouldn't surprise me if both were leveraging AEW negotiations to ultimately get better deals with WWE - something we've seen time and time again with Randy Orton and others.
It would be cool if Jeff Hardy shows up in NXT tonight, squashes Kross and wins the title cheaply, and then does a heel run where he acts like he's above the developmental territory.
I'm not even a Jeff Hardy fan, but he's a golden god compared to Kross.
I'm more interested in the Raw Women's Title than I've been in well over a year, so I'd say you're both wrong on that count.
For once, WWE has elevated a popular, fun wrestler that's easy to root for.
Ditto for when Big E finally (we hope) wins the men's World Title.
Drew and Jinder have history. Drew wanted the feud while he was champ, but Jinder got injured again.
As for Nikki, she won Money in the Bank with the "dork ass superhero gimmick," so I'd say she's doing fine too. (Unless/until she gets Otis-ed.)
Edit: New Women's Champion. So much for sek's conspiracy theories.
I wonder if Jeff Hardy is going down to NXT to be Kross's next feud. If not, WOOOOOOOOWWWWW, Kross is officially DOA on the main roster. And no Scarlet really kills his act.
It's something he wanted though.
The latter, considering that his presence did absolutely nothing for Cesaro, Ryback, and Curtis Axel.
Granted, the latter two were beyond anyone's help, but still.
(Axel was "a good hand" but that was about it.)
Not sure how this is considered a competitive match when Roman pinned both Edge and Daniel Bryan at the same time at WrestleMania. After that, why would anyone think Edge has a prayer in Hell of unseating the Head of the Table?
If there was any unpredictability, any sense of danger, with Lashey/Kofi and Reigns/Edge, I would care a lot more - but there isn't, so I don't.
At the very least, the Kofi story and match is hopefully leading to Lashley vs. Big E.
I don't care about either of them, but even I have to admit this has been a good match.
Charlotte's weird red eye-shadow makes her look bloodshot though.
I kinda hope all the rumors are a misdirect and we actually get Lashley vs. Cena and Reigns vs. Goldberg. Both of those matches sound far more interesting to me if WWE is going to insist on using part-timers in big spots.
I didn't mind the Goldberg revival push at first, but they've gone to that particular well way too many times at this point.
Nothing but Lashley vs. Goldberg sounds at all compelling.
Now for a match I don't care about...
Rhea should not have been called up and nothing about her push has felt organic or earned.
But the alternative option - Charlotte regaining the title - is beyond stale.
Let's hope Nikki A.S.H. can save us with a successful cash-in.
The Raw Women's Title has been treading water since last year's MITB.
That's well over a year ago. Pretty pathetic track record.
Not Asuka's fault. Her reign could've been an all-timer.
