I can buy the Falcon Arrow off a bad knee as a "Surge of Adrenaline" thing. Also, technically speaking, if your leg is bad, your better off kicking with that leg then the other, since your damaged leg as a base would be a terrible idea... I think at least? Just my logic on it.
That was significantly better then HHH/Rollins, and that was largely because Rollins didn't do outright stupid stuff with his leg selling.
That said, Joe really needed that win imo.
For allt eh complaining, and as much as I don't like Seth Rollins, this hasn't been a case of Seth being awful. This match has been pretty damned good to me. Mainly because I can buy Seth's offense off his leg so far, as it hasn't really gone into stupid territory to me.
I'm really digging Joe's leg work in this match. How well Seth will sell it over the course of the match is up in there air, but Joe's offense has kicked ass.
Samoa Joe is one of my 10 favorite wrestlers ever and just watching Seth Rollins fucking come out makes me want to turn my TV to youtube so god damned bad.
......... Bray Wyatt turning the house red has me utterly convinced this is comedy. Burn the Fucking House Down with him in it like Orton did to Abagail ya idiot! You are a terrible evil cult member!
Let's just say for a minute it is intentional. Who is it designed to benefit?
The Hardys. It's a test run for there stuff.
Also, better question: What makes you think WWE gives a shit about doing something that "benefits" someone? Or that this wasn't just created in Vince's mind thinking this would get over, and everyone else being "uh, okay, this aint gonna work, so let's play it up for laughs a bit.
It's got a god damned horror sound track for gods sake.
Not only that, he cut a pretty fucking legit heel promo afterwards. That's an effective way to make a mid to upper card heel in one match and aftermath.
Smackdown potentially having a core roster built around AJ, Owens, Zayn, Nakamura, Orton, Corbin, Harper, The New Day, AA, The Usos, and other assorted goodness looks pretty fucking swell to me guys. They even avoided the Enzo and Cass grenade.
No reason to go all in with Nak immediately. He's not going anywhere. You start with someone small like Dolph, then move up to potentially beating Orton.
It's kinda amazing how many bullets Smackdown missed in this. Losing Miz and Alexa sucks, but they kept AJ, didn't gain the anvil that is Rollins, dropped Ambrose & Wyatt (I still love you Bray, but WWE doesn't know you like I do), and gained Zayn and immediately treated him like he was a bigger deal then Raw ever did. Most of there additions haven't been major, but none of them save maaaaybe Jinder have actually been bad.
So, naturally, Enzo and Cass coming in the next 20 minutes.
I'm mixed. Primo and Epico aren't exactly setting the world on fire, but I don't doubt that they are pretty damn good workers that can more then hold there own if given an actual push.
I don't think they've officially set a kayfabe for it, but I would guess there was a negotiation process and/or something like a draft lottery were each brand could "protect" so many people. It's kinda logical that Bryan wouldn't protect Miz and Angle might not protect Zayn, for instance.
