Really liking this Valentine/Graham storyline. Cant wait to watch this unfold. Davis snaps and becomes a "Maniac"! This new gimmick seems to be working because he took down another Maniac in the Missing Link. I always love the creative gimmicks you come up with to spice up wrestlers. The Contenders Crown should add a lot of intrigue to the title scene. Sweet Brown Sugar comes in and wins the Florida title! Always something happening in Florida!

Mutoh loses the match but spraying the mist gets him over. Hot Stuff is racking up some serious tournament points. Williams and Fernandez aren't playing around as they take it to the Sheiks and challenge all teams. Like the seeds planted for a Sugar/Ware-Ox/Sweetan feud. Those will be fun contrast of styles matches. Anvil and Sarge stand tall as they get the best of the Russians tonight. Wild 6 man tag as things go crazy. Bad News comes in and takes Hogan down! Bad News is one serious threat to Hogan. I cant wait for that collision.

Man you have put together one stacked roster! Magnum and Gordy open the show with a hot match as both the Freebirds and Von Erichs get involved. Magnum looks great but Gordy advances. You really have Precious Paul down. Classic promo as he hypes up the Road Warriors. Percy debuts Hercules and Herc looks like a force! JYD puts the thump on OMG and advances. JYD and Gordy will be a battle! Show doesn't end there as Superstar Graham debuts with his karate gimmick and vows to win the battle royal. That Battle Royal for the TV title is going to be a lot of fun.

The much anticipated Aloha Spectacular exceeds expectations. The Heart Punch is really getting Texas Red over. Even the Spoiler seems a bit concerned. Fantastic technical bout follows with Yamada and Cobra picking up the win. Good sportsmanship follows. Nord and Strong machine give the fans a hard hitting brawl that ends in a double C.O. to keep the feud going. LOL, poor Larry is taking a beating from everybody lately. The sight of Big Jim and Valiant dancing over an unconscious Larry was hilarious. Garvin knocks out Adonis in the sleeper match of the night. New TV champ as Flowers takes advantage of Burke's previous injuries and takes the title via the Piledriver! RnR Express end the California Cowboys great title run. Hoping for some more fun rematches. Big Piper/Rose main event that I'm sure sold a ton of tickets. Piper has things going his way until Bundy interferes and squashes him! That sneaky Rose once again walks away with the title and seems to have new ring allies in Foley and Bundy. This solidifies Bundy as a top heel. Looking forward to seeing how Piper deals with Bundy. Outstanding card!

LOL, all good. Tommy Rich has some funny stories about that match. Awesome stuff!

TNT Wrestling TV @ The Junction, San Antonio TX 4-26-84 Steve Stack: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of TNT Wrestling here on the USA Network. Big show tonight as we get ready for next week's big card at the Oman Arena in Jackson Tennessee. We'll be talking a lot about that throughout the show. Lot's of action for you tonight as we have a big 6 man main event in which Jerry Lawler and the Fabulous Ones will take on Jimmy Hart's stable of the Honkytonk Man and Nightmares. Cocoa Samoa clashes with Sheik Ali Hassan and Ivan Putski will go one on one with Mr. Electricity Steve Regal. TV champ Tully Blanchard will be in action as will the AWA TNT Champion Terry Funk! Right now I want to bring out the man who will be facing AWA World Champ Hulk Hogan for the title in Jackson, I'm talking about the Universal Heartthrob Austin Idol. The fans boo as Idol arrogantly walks out. Idol: Oh baby the Universal Heartthrob is in the building and brother don't I look great! You know something Steve? A couple weeks ago I gave that Heartthrob wannabe, that chump Hulk Hogan the beating of a lifetime and you know what he was saying? He said Austin Idol, please stop, you are the best and I cant take it anymore. Well Hogan, I'm not going to stop because next week I'm going to give the fans and the entire AWA what they want and that's me winning the world title baby. I am the true toast of the coast. I'm the one with the biggest arms in wrestling and I'm the one who has all the charisma in the world. Just look at me baby. So Hogan, whatcha gonna do when IdolMania runs wild on you brother! Idol winks at the camera and gives everybody a wink. Dream Machine vs. Kyle Waters Dream and George Wells had quite the fight a couple weeks back and Wells ended up choking Dream with a cord. Tonight Dream tunes up for his upcoming match with Wells. Dream swings Waters to the ropes and puts him down with a back elbow smash. Dream hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with an elbow drop to get the pin! The fans cheer as Dream raises his arm in victory. Dream cuts a promo on Wells and says it's going to feel oh so good dropping the elbow on his fat head! Commercial Break Jumbo Tsuruta w/Stan Stasiak vs. Carl Glader Stasiak looks on in approval as Jumbo tears his opponent down with chops. Jumbo hits a knee strike and follows with a bridging release German Suplex. Jumbo punishes Glader some more before finishing him off with the Sheerdrop Powerbomb! Stasiak leads Jumbo to the podium as the fans boo. Stasiak: These fans should show respect for an international superstar like Jumbo Tsuruta! Next week these fans are going to witness total destruction as Tsuruta will destroy that washed up has been Larry Hennig! Hennig is nothing but a tune up for more important things. That's right, Terry Funk we're looking at you and when Tsuruta beats you down for the TNT title, guess what? The AWA world title is next! Commercial Break Tito Santana vs. Vic Dutro The fans are on their feet cheering as Tito puts Dutro down with several dropkicks. Tito back drops Dutro. Dutro staggers up as Tito swings off the ropes and puts him down with the flying forearm blast to get the pin! Tito raises his arms and thanks the fans. Stack: Very impressive win for Tito Santana. I want to bring out the man who will be facing Santana next week in Jackson. Please welcome Nick Bockwinkel. Now Nick, I'm sure you're a little preoccupied considering your tough loss to Harley Race last week. Harley gets the TNT title shot but I'm sure your goal is getting back in contention. Bock: Mr. Stack there is no question about it that I will be back in the title hunt. I can accept a loss to a great competitor like Harley Race but one thing I cant accept is this upcoming match with Tito Santana. That is nothing but a downgrade. Santana represents the lowest form of an opponent. I think this match is a joke and he doesn't deserve to be in the ring with a former champion like myself. The Fans cheer as Santana walks up. Santana: I'm not out here to cause trouble but I couldn't help but hear your comments Nick. Bock: I would appreciate it if you referred to me as Mr. Bockwinkel. You're in the presence of class so a bit of respect is in order. Santana: Fine, Mr. Bockwinkel. This will be straight to the point. Do not underestimate myself and my in ring skills. I'm here in TNT to make some noise and defeating you will do just that. Ariba! Santana exits as Bock folds his arms, looks at the ground and shakes his head. Bock: That man is in for a wrestling awakening. Mark my words. Commercial Break Cocoa Samoa vs. Sheik Ali Hassan Sheik's partner Cuban Assassin is in Atlantic Championship Wrestling so Sheik is on his own. Cocoa has had serious issues with the trio of Sheik, Cuban and Ratamyus. Tonight is step one of his revenge. Steve O accompanies Cocoa and realizes Ratamyus is suspended and Cuban is out of town so he shakes Cocoa's hand and heads to the back. Sheik jumps Cocoa at the bell and proceeds to hit, stomp and choke away. Sheik grabs the ropes and chokes Cocoa with his boot then drops several knees. Sheik body slams Cocoa and hits a standing leg drop 1..2..Kick Out. Sheik berates the Ref then reaches down to grab Cocoa but Cocoa rakes the eyes and starts biting Sheik! Cocoa sends him through the ropes with a jumping headbutt. Sheik is out of it. Cocoa runs out and hurls Sheik back in the ring. Cocoa climbs to the top rope. Sheik staggers up and Cocoa hits him with a flying press 1..2..3!!! The fans roar as Cocoa pumps his fists. Commercial Break 'Master G' George Wells w/Jimmy Hart vs. Clint Stevens Wells puts Stevens down with a headbutt then stomps away. Jimmy Hart yells encouragement into his megaphone. Wells body slams Stevens then hops up on the middle ropes. Stevens staggers up and Wells nails him with a flying shoulder tackle for the pin! The fans boo as Jimmy and Wells go to the podium. Wells: Dream Machine! You bit off more than you can chew boy! Next week in Jackson, I'm going to give you a pounding you wont ever forget! Hart: Tell em Georgie Baby! The Hart Family is stronger and more unified than ever. Tonight we're going to prove that against that court jester Lawler and his clowns. Then in Jackson my Nightmares will once again be victorious over the Stupid Ones and then get back those tag team straps we never should of lost in the first place! Speaking of Jackson, the Honkytonk Man is going to shake rattle and roll all over that court jester Lawler! HAHAHAHAHA! Commercial Break The Guerreros vs. Ron James and Chris Curtis To keep the peace, Jerry Jarrett has banned the Sheepherders from tonight's TV show. Guerreros look crisp tonight as they display solid teamwork. Chavo and Mando double drop kick Curtis out of the ring. Chavo goes to the top rope. Mando swings James to the ropes and hits him in the mid section, then Chavo hits a sunset flip for the pin! Guerreros cut a promo on their upcoming tornado street fight with the Sheepherders. They say this has gone on long enough and promise to put the Sheepherders down! Commercial Break 'Polish Power' Ivan Putski w/ Rick McGraw vs. 'Mr. Electricity' Steve Regal w/Johnny Wilhoit and Johnny Valiant Putski is out with his Rolling Thunder partner and Regal is out with his Real Deal partner along with Valiant. The bell never rings as all 4 men start brawling! McGraw hammers Wilhoit into the corner while Putski goes to town on Regal in the opposite corner. They swing Real Deal into each other. Valiant gets on the apron and Rolling Thunder knock him off with a double fist! Real Deal staggers up and Putski sends Regal through the ropes with the Polish Hammer! McGraw drop kicks Wilhoit out of the ring as the fans go crazy! These 2 teams will meet in Jackson! Commercial Break TV Champ Tully Blanchard vs. Dave Riley When Tully isn't beating down on his opponent he's constantly calling out Bobby Jaggers. Tully body slams Riley then drops several elbows. "Come on Jaggers! Come on boy!" Tully picks up Riley and hits the slingshot suplex for the pin! "Come on out Jaggers! Come on you coward!" The fans roar as Bobby Jaggers hits the ring! Bobby unloads on Tully then swings him to the ropes but Tully grabs the ropes and slides out. The fans boo as Tully grabs his TV title and heads out while Bobby is pumping his fists and yelling at Tully to get back in the ring! Stack: Oh my tensions are at an all time high between Tully Blanchard and Bobby Jaggers, those two will meet for the TV title in Jackson. Fans, joining me right now is the TNT champion, Terry Funk. Terry we're going to be seeing you in action shortly as you prepare for Harley Race in Jackson. Funk: I want Harley Race to pay close attention tonight because that's what he's in store for next week in Jackson. I told you I don't care if it's Harley Race, Nick Bockwinkel, Jumbo Tsuruta, Tito Santana, Bobby Jaggers or Tully Blanchard. I'm going to do whatever it takes to keep this title. Harley, you egg sucking dog, you're first up! Commercial Break TNT Champ Terry Funk vs. Scott Ferris Funk follows through with his promise and works over Ferris with a variety of amateur wrestling moves. Funk turns it up with chops in the corner and a body slam. Funk spends a little to much time bantering with the Ref and Ferris catches him with a roll up 1..2..Kick Out. An angry Funk punches Ferris down then stomps away. Funk hits a Russian Legsweep and follows with a swinging neckbreaker to get the pin! Funk raises his TNT title high. Commercial Break TV Main Event Jerry 'The King' Lawler and the Fabulous Ones VS. The Honkytonk Man and Nightmares w/Jimmy Hart With these 6 men involved it doesn't take long for the chaos. The Ref is trying to get control as everybody is brawling. The Fabs fight the Nightmares through the ropes and fight on the outside. Lawler hops on the middle ropes and unleashes on the HTM with a series of punches. Hart runs over and grabs Lawler's leg. This distracts Lawler long enough for HTM to hit an inverted atomic drop. The Ref finally gets control as HTM works over Lawler. HTM holds Lawler while he tags in Davis. Davis comes off the top rope with a double axehandle then tags in Wayne. They swing Lawler to the ropes and double back drop him. Wayne stomps on Lawler then tags in HTM. HTM chokes Lawler with his boot, smiles then rakes the boot across his face. HTM swings Lawler to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Lawler stops and hits him with an uppercut then rolls over and tags in Lane. Lane drop kicks HTM to the corner. HTM tags in Davis. Davis charges but gets hip tossed then Lane follows with a drop kick. Lane tags in Keirn. They swing Davis to the ropes and hit a double drop kick. Keirn covers 1..2..HTM and Wayne run in. Another brawl ensues. Everybody is fighting! Jimmy Hart gets the attention of Davis and throws his megaphone to him but Lawler intercepts it! Lawler nails HTM with it! Lawler then hits Wayne with it! Keirn punches Davis, Davis swings around and Lawler whacks Davis with it! Keirn covers Davis as the Ref looks over and jumps down 1..2..3!!!! The fans erupt! The show ends with Lawler and The Fabulous Ones standing tall! Big card in Denver! Young Lions continue to show their stuff. Nikita and Slaughter are heading for an explosive showdown. Bad News gets a strong win over Crusher as he gets ready for Hogan. Williams and Fernandez should be next in line for a title shot as they put down Ox and Sweetan. What a cage match! Rude and Hennig go Memphis and hide under the cage until the time is right and attack Savage to help Bret retain. Road Warriors defeat the red hot sheiks to retain and look dominant. Hogan retains against Rude. Clearly Savage and Martel have unfinished business with the Heenan Family as they fight off Bret and Hennig. Things are really building well here.

I agree, these loops are a lot of fun. Nice touch naming those street fights after the city they're in. Reed, Hansen and the Long Riders are having some good runs as champions. Liked the wrestlers and managers tag bout. That's old school. Yoko and Hall continue to have some fun lower card encounters. Of course my favorite match on the loop was that Rich/Sawyer cage match.

What a card at the Farm Center! Starts off a busy night for Rogers as he simply walks out on his partner. Rogers is going to get a lot of heat tonight. Rogers helps Lethal Larry win the chain match. Add Armstrong to the list of people who want a crack at Rogers. Fun street fight as a 3rd Assassin is revealed and hits Golden with the classic loaded mask. LOL, who gets more chicken heel heat tonight, Garvin or Rogers? Great angle with the wheelchair. Battle of the heels as the Midnight Express go to a No Contest with Pogo and Kendo. This could be a wild set of matches in the coming weeks. Brody puts Jake down with the big boot to win the chaotic 6 man tag. The main event I was waiting for as we get the Hogan/Flair dream match! Flair gets DQed but we get some post match craziness as Loch Ness comes in and takes it to the champ. Then Brody comes in and helps Hogan! Loch Ness will be an outstanding monster heel for Hogan. Down the road I would love to see a Hogan/Brody match. Of course I'm sure the issues between Hogan and Flair wont end here.

You defiantly have everything clicking right now. I like that you have something interesting for everybody on the roster. For instance in the tag division the Von Erichs and Freebirds are rocking the main event scene while teams like Bart/Bass, Zenk/ Blair and Yoshi/ Duk are fighting their way up. Junkyard Dog is a huge main event guy but then you have Windham and Magnum right there. On the heel side you have Shultz, Murdoch, Kamala and OMG that can slip into the main events at any time. Awesome job!

The Hogan/Bad News segment just sold a ton of tickets to their upcoming title match. I'm loving this feud because Bad News is a serious threat. Speaking of threats, both the Sheiks and Williams/Fernandez pose just that to the Road Warriors. Good Young Lions showcase as Nikita continues to look unbeatable. Gilbert however could very well sneak his way to winning the cup. Hart vs. Savage in a cage!!!! YES!!!!! Man I cant wait for that Denver card.

Fun loop with a lot going down. Humongous sends Graham packing. Even though Graham is in the twilight of his career this still puts Humongous up there as an even more serious threat. Pogo and Kendo are the number one contenders. Their matches with the Midnights should be some wild ones. Even though Johnny Rich lost to Flair, their matches solidify Rich as a contender. Fullers and Golden get the best of Paul Jones Army in a Lights Out Match. Never a dull moment in SECW.

OH SNAP! Major upset as Cuban Assassin defeats Jack Brisco for the Atlantic Coast Title! Even with Valentine's help, this is still a huge win. Cuban Assassin will be coming back to TNT with one gigantic ego LOL. I wonder who was behind the Valentine fiasco??? Graham says it's not him and wont tolerate Valentine's actions. Dream and Sullivan gave the fans their money's worth as they go almost an hour in the Lumberjack match. White and Weaver pull it off and win the gauntlet! The Rhodes/Sullivan feud is on fire. Fun seeing Piper show up here. Wild and crazy times in Florida!

Man you have WTBS wrestling down! Reading your shows brings back memories. Rich vs. Sawyer is the feud of all feuds! Cant wait to watch this progress. TBS vets Chick and Rose pick up a win against young Michaels and Powers. Thornton isn't to happy. Sheik helps Koloff get the win over Daniels by busting him open. Looks like a Sheik/Koloff-Roop/Daniels feud is in gear. Gunslingers- Love the name. Looking forward to their match with the Fantastics next week Hansen takes Afi down as he retains the TV title. It's going to be hard to take the title from Hansen. Blockbuster main event as Reed and Duggan go at it. Chaos ensues as we get a 8 man brawl to end the show! Great show that set up a lot of good storylines.

Your shows have been stacked with action and the roll continues. Wild start as Kabuki holds his own against Kamala and the Mongols. Things take a turn for the worst as Kabuki does the stretcher job. Great match between Murdoch and Windham. Windham scores the big win to advance. Duk and Yatsu add to a stacked tag division. Oh man the Von Erichs/Freebirds feud just went up a level as Hayes helps Shultz advance over Kerry. Loving this tournament!

I agree, what a way to debut the Heart Punch! That was devastating. Liked that hard hitting CanCon/Zambuie match. Another big man Nord has an impressive showing. Solid promo from Piper as he hypes up his big No DQ title match with Rose. LOL, Larry Z just cant catch a break these days. Fun TV main event as Adams gets the big win over Oliver. Great job hyping the big show in Hawaii, cant wait for that one.

TNT Wrestling TV @ The Roane Fieldhouse, Memphis TN 4-19-84 The show starts out with footage from last week as Austin Idol hits AWA World Champ Hulk Hogan with a chair then applies the Las Vegas Leglock! Lance Russell: Hello wrestling fans, we have a great show for you tonight. Well, you saw at the top of the program what transpired last week. Right after the show Jerry Jarrett phoned Verne Gagne to tell him what happened but Hogan had already called Verne and told him not to punish Idol and he will put the title on the line against Idol at the Oman Arena in Jackson Tennessee on May 3rd. We have prerecorded comments from the champ Hulk Hogan. Hogan: Austin Idol! After what happened last week, the only thing you proved to me was that you're nothing but a universal coward brother! On May 3rd I'm coming back to Tennessee and I'm not only going to remain champion but I'm going to give you a beating you'll never going to forget! It's going to be so much fun messing up that so called pretty face of yours! HulkaMania is going to run wild on you brother! Lance: Ok, there you have it, straight from the champ. Brown body slams Gus then picks him up and hangs him upside down on the turnbuckles. Brown just stomps away on the shoulder then pulls him down. Brown hoists Gus up and hits a shoulder breaker for the pin! The fans boo as Valiant and Brown head to the podium. Lance: Well Johnny, your man here will certainly have his hands full on May 3rd as he faces quite the physical specimen in Dan Spivey. Brown: I'll take this Johnny. Fact of the matter is that punk got lucky last time. I had a 103 degree fever and on top of that he ambushed me from behind. That wont happen again! Come May 3rd that punk goes down! Brown exits. Valiant: You heard it straight from the man. Now, listen up Lance Russell. I have put together a new team. When I saw these two guys. well I saw money baby. Let me introduce to you The Real Deal, New Generation Johnny Wilhoit and Mr. Electricity Steve Regal! The fans boo as Wilhoit and Regal come out wearing shiny red glitter jackets. Valiant: The name Real Deal speaks for itself. They're not phonies like the Fabulous Ones or washed up losers like the Guerreros. They're two guys in the prime of their lives and the sky's the limit under my guidance. Lance: Oh come on, Johnny Wilhoit, I don't know why you would associate yourself with these men? Wilhoit: It's simple. Where did kissing up to all these idiot fans get me? Nowhere! They didn't believe in me but Johnny Valiant and Steve Regal do. The fans cheer as Rick McGraw comes out. McGraw: Oh now this all makes sense. (Looks at Wilhoit) Last week I thought we were going to have a match of respect but then (looks at Regal) this goon interferes. You guys call yourselves the Real Deal? Well you haven't come close to earning that name! Regal and Wilhoit jump McGraw and start pounding away! The fans go crazy as Ivan Putski runs out with fists flying! They brawl around for a moment until Valiant is able to get his men out of there. Putski: Rolling Thunder is back! Commercial Break Lance: How about that. Putski and McGraw are back together and I've been informed they will face the Real Deal on May 3rd. Lets go back to the ring. Larry 'The Axe' Hennig vs. Ty Baker Hennig works over Baker with ease then finishes him off with the Running Axe Smash to get the pin! Larry cuts a promo and says his partner Billy Robinson will be out of town for a couple weeks. In the meantime he gets to wrestle Jumbo Tsuruta on May 3rd. Larry says he's looking forward to putting down the man that turned on his partner a few months back. Commercial Break Footage is shown of last week's show as Tony Atlas and Hercules Ayala shocked the Nightmares and won the AWA Southern Tag Titles! AWA Southern Tag Champs Tony Atlas and Hercules Ayala vs. The Smith Brothers The champs have the fans cheering as they simply overpower their opponents. The end comes when Atlas Gorilla Presses his opponent and slams him down then tags in Ayala. Ayala clamps on the Bear Hug and the Ref signals for the bell. The fans cheer as Atlas and Ayala hold the titles high. Lance: Champs come on over. First off congratulations on winning the titles. The champs cut a promo and say they'll take on all comers. Lance: With that said, on May 3rd it's been announce that the Fabulous Ones will face the Nightmares and the winners will be the number one contenders. I also understand that you guys will be watching at ringside. Atlas: We sure are. We're going to scout our competition up close. Ayala: We're looking forward to facing either team. We just want competition and we're ready! Commercial Break Lance: Ok let's.... Boos hit as Stan Stasiak and Decimation storm the podium. Stasiak: I cant believe what I just heard! Everybody here is looking at the number one contenders to the tag team titles! How dare you Jerry Jarrett! How dare you exclude Decimation. Now we must take matters into our own hands. I guarantee we'll get your attention Jarrett. Decimation w/Stan Stasiak vs. Clint Carter and Steve Rooney Total squash match as Decimation just destroys their opponents. Colley hits a running powerslam on Rooney then tags in Shaw. Shaw swings off the ropes and hits a big splash for the pin! Both men trade holds as neither man can get the upper hand. Bock gets some momentum going as he body slams Race and follows with a backbreaker then applies the Boston Crab! Bock clamps it tight but Race is able to frantically reach the ropes. The Ref gets Bock off. Race staggers up and Bock clamps on a headlock but Race lifts him up and executes a back suplex. Race regroups and hits a delayed knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Race swings Bock into the turnbuckles and charges in but Bock moves as Race hits hard into the turnbuckles. Bock gets up. Race staggers up and Bock clamps on a sleeper! Bock swings Race around but Race runs forward and ducks down as Bock fly's headfirst into the top turnbuckle. Both men are reeling. They get up and have a furious exchange. Bock gives Race a knee to the mid section and follows with a gut wrench suplex. Bock picks Race up and hits a vertical suplex 1..2..Kick Out! Bock body slams Race then hops up on the middle ropes and comes down with a knee 1..2..Race gets his shoulder up. Bock picks up Race and goes for a piledriver but Race back drops him. Once again both men are regrouping. They both get up. Bock swings Race to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Race stops and comes down on Bock with a headbutt. Race picks up Bock and hits a swinging neckbreaker. Race picks up Bock and hits a piledriver 1..2..3!!! Harley Race gets his title shot on May 3rd against Terry Funk!

Always fun to see what's going to happen in Atlantic Coast Wrestling. You never disappoint. Liz seems to have Link under a spell but then again Liz could do that LOL. I'm all for a Link/Konga feud! Killer Brooks comes in and wins the TV title! WOW! LOL, Instead of saying I respect you, Boomer just sucker punches Rufus. Nice heel move. Poor Valentine. He was really rolling and missed his title chance due to a family emergency. Jack Brisco steps in and wins the title! Very credible. Then he retains against Dusty is a street fight to solidify his credibility. Good stuff Edger!

I agree, those almost hour long 10 man tag main events defiantly gives the fans their money's worth! Also like the Blair/Zenk-Bass/Bart tag matches.

Solid card in Oakland! The Bundy/McGhee match up intrigued me and went down well with McGhee fighting hard but Bundy prevailing. LOL, I bet Larry Z had a meltdown after that loss to Jimmy V. I could watch RnR go against The East West Connection for months. Slater's win over Borne is huge! Slater is heading for big things. Awesome Portland style main event. Oliver and Rose is such a classic heel team but they go down to Piper and Adams. Cant wait for the inevitable Rose/Piper title match.

Another good use of TV to get fans into the arena. Hamilton finally defeats Armstrong to regain the US Jr. title! I'm sure Armstrong will want another shot. This has been a great feud. Humongous once again looks strong as he puts the superstar to sleep. LOL, nice heel move by Garvin when he simply walks out of his match with Cooley. The Fuller/Golden-Assassins feud continues as they battle to a double DQ. Brody gets his shot after beating Jake but man he suffers a beating at the hands of a debuting Loch Ness and Humongous! Talk about some monsters! Throw Mongolian Stomper in this and this is going to be one wild and Red Hot feud! Road Warriors come to town and retain against the Midnight Express. This would have been a big drawing match up.

Like that Bulldogs/Sugar-Ware match up. Williams and Fernandez make a statement with that win. Savage gets some revenge on Heenan but suffers a post match beating from the Family. The Sheiks are looking as devastating as ever. Every since losing their titles they've been on a serious roll. Bret retains against Gagne with a little help from Heenan. Slaughter wins round 1 against the Russians with a win over Nikolai. Looks like Martel and Hennig will continue their feud. Hogan retains against Sweetan and then puts Ox down. Hogan is looking strong as AWA Champ.

Breaking TNT Wrestling News TNT commissioner Jerry Jarrett had a telephone meeting with Verne Gagne to discuss the assault Austin Idol did on AWA World Champ Hulk Hogan at a TNT televised show. Verne explained to Jarrett that Hulk Hogan already phoned him and said don't do a damn thing. Hogan told Verne to make the match happen. So on May 3rd at the Oman Arena in Jackson TN, Hulk Hogan will defend the AWA World title against Austin Idol. Jarrett also announced more matches. The show kicks off with a bang as footage is shown of the Andersons and Sawyer beating down the Armstrongs. I used to love it when they showed footage like this. Back live and Sawyer and Ole put a beating on Rich. Oh man it looks like the inevitable feud between Rich and Sawyer has begun. Man I cant wait for this one. Speaking of feuds, the one between Lanny and Dad has really developed into a heated one. Lanny better be on guard as his Dad looks to finish him off. I liked the Hall/Afi segment to keep the Hall/Yoko storyline moving. LOL, Afi was good here. Both Hacksaws look strong on TV. Who's going to claim the Hacksaw name??? Fun loop. Looks like Hart and Dibiase can be just as dirty as Superstar and Poffo. Rich and Sawyer go through round 1 on the loop. Reed and Duggan battle with no clear cut winner yet. One little gem I caught was the Heaven's Angels/Pez/Norvell match that ended in a draw. I'm a sucker for lower mid card matches. Even though he lost, Mean Mike put in a better effort against Hansen in the rematch.

Another fun loop. I have to say, I love that Hamilton/Rogers pairing. Jake racked up some good wins including a big DDT win over the Superstar. Jimmy Garvin retains his title this week but I have a feeling Cooley is getting ready for another shot. Cool seeing Mr. Wrestling 2 show up. That match with Flair would have been a good one. Speaking of Flair, he continues his streak with wins over Wrestling 2 and Ron Fuller. Him teaming with Jake is pretty damn cool. That 10 man rage in the cage I'm sure sold the Convention Center out.
