  1. Man, the fans got their money's worth on this show! Battens are looking strong and now have become serious contenders. Medico 1 gets a huge win over Chicky. I bet the crowd loved that. Awesome 6 man tag as Chicky's boys score the win. Ayala wins the taped fist series! I have to admit I'm sad that it's over as I really enjoyed this program. What a match between Colon and Tamba. Even with Chicky's help, that's still a big deal to get a win over Colon. Bittersweet night for the Starr corporation. Chicky and Ron get losses but the rest get big wins. Another great Light Heavyweight Main Event! Invader 3 retains but Owen has become a star here.
  2. Wow, this Kokina/OMG feud is really heating up big time! Loved Kokina using Singh's sword. OMG got some serious payback and cost Kokina the match with Rich. Savoldi really bounced back after having to leave Mid Atlantic. Brunzell continues his impressive win streak. Andre seems to be back in the good graces with the fans. Fun street fight as Sommers and Borne get a pretty big win over Garvin and Embry. Speaking of big wins, Adias gets one over B. Brian. The Pride of Kernodle retains over Goto. Pretty impressive since Saito was in Goto's corner.
  3. MACW @ WTBS Studios TV Aired 8-2-86 Footage is shown of Buzz Sawyer's brutal attack on Tommy Rich last week. Schiavone: Hello again everybody and welcome to another edition of Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling. With me as always, David Crockett. Well David, we both watched in shock as Buzz Sawyer showed up last week and assaulted the TV champion, Tommy Rich. I understand you have some things to say about that. Crockett: Yes I do Tony. First off, Tommy Rich is in pretty bad shape and against Doctor's orders he went up to actually wrestle in Lutte. I can only hope he returns home safely. Now, as for the actions of Buzz Sawyer. My brother Jim has stated that Buzz Sawyer has been suspended and will decide when he can return. The crowd boos as Buzz Sawyer storms out. Sawyer: Suspended! Suspended! This just proves what a coward Tommy Rich is! You're gutless Rich! You've always been gutless! I'm here standing tall and you left the country. Instead of suspending me, they should strip Rich of his title. But it looks like poor little Tommy Rich is a Crockett darling. (Points at David) If big brother is looking for an apology (diabolical laugh) forget it! I beat Tommy Rich up last week and it felt so good! Suspended or not, I don't care because I'm not going to rest until I put Tommy Rich out of commission for good! Sawyer storms off to boos. Schiavone: Oh my, that was very unsettling. Crockett: He's certainly a deranged individual and the suspension stands. Ok Tony, well we do have a great show lined up. Listen to this barn burner of a main event. Rip Oliver will clash with Blackjack Mulligan. We will show you footage from Ashville and why Rip Oliver demanded this match. Schiavone: In another featured bout, Stampede Rush will take on the Caspian Empire. Also in action will be Austin Idol, the Assassins, Brad Rheingans, Corporal Kirchner, the Renegade Warriors and the NWA National Champion, Arthur W. Crews. Crockett: Also in action, the number one contender to the United States title, Jimmy Snuka. Jimmy receives that shot, this weekend in Greensboro. We will also hear from the Champ himself, Ted Dibiase, pre recorded comments of course. We will also be hearing from Bad News Brown and the US tag team champs, Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley. We also have footage from Pittsburg and what went down between Paul Orndorff and Tiger Jeet Singh. Schiavone: All that and more. Fans, lets go to the ring. Renegade Warriors vs. Tim Straw and Lou Simms The Warriors double hip toss Simms and follow with a double chop. Simms is finally able to tag in Straw. Chris swings Straw into the turnbuckles and follows with a running boot to the head then tags in Mark. Mark hits the Sling Shot Splash for the pin! The fans cheer as Mark and Chris hug and raise their arms. Warriors cut a promo on the Fabulous Blondes and tell them their cheap tactics wont stop them from beating them and continuing their quest for the US tag team titles. Commercial Break Corporal Kirchner vs. Roger Murphy The fans cheer as Kirchner parades around the ring, waving the American Flag and slaps hands with them. Kirchner is all business in the ring as he body slams Murphy and follows with a standing leg drop. Kirchner hoists Murphy up and hits the Fallaway Slam for the pin! The fans cheer as Kirchner waves the flag and heads for the podium. Schiavone: Impressive win tonight Corporal. Well, I have to ask, I'm sure you saw Don Kernodle out here last week with his Pride of Kernodle flag. As a matter of fact he wants to be known as Don 'The pride of' Kernodle. What do you think of all this as I know the two of you have unfinished business. Kirchner: Unfinished business is right! Don can parade around with his stupid flag all he wants. For me, in this country, this is the only flag that matters (Kirchner waves the flag to cheers) Just remember this Kernodle, pride cometh before the fall and fall you will! Kirchner heads out waving the flag as the fans really get behind him. Commercial Break Crockett: Ok fans, I want to take you to some pre recorded comments from the US Champion, the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase. Dibiase is standing in front of a private jet. Dibiase: AHHH fresh air. This is so much better than being in that filthy germ invested studio amongst those minimum wage bottom of the barrel simpletons known as fans. Now, I know most of you simpletons cant fathom the idea of having a lot of money...well any kinds of money for that matter. Money buys the best and as you know I have the best lawyers working today. My lawyers have officially worked out the details and have gotten my clients, the Awesome Twosome a match for the United States Tag Team Titles in Greensboro this weekend. After they win the titles, wow their stock will rise and once again will prove what a shrewd business man I am. I've also arranged a rematch between Bad News Brown and my other client King Kong Bundy. Some advice for you Brown, watch your back (Laughs) Now as for my opponent Jimmy Snuka. (Shakes his head in disgust and looks down) I still cant believe I'm wrestling a... well I guess I'll call him a man but that's debatable. This so called man wrestles barefoot (pauses with another look of disgust) and I cant understand anything he says. This is the man that gets a US title shot? What's wrestling come to? Well I'm a fighting champion and I'll fulfill my duties. It's just a shame it's against in inferior opponent like Snuka. A so called man who's moniker is a fly. Well in Greensboro, I'm going to swat him like a fly and put him down, then move on to bigger and way better things. (Laughs as the segment ends) Back Live Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka vs. Larry O'Meara Snuka swings Larry to the ropes and puts him down with a lunging headbutt. Snuka swings off the ropes and hits a jumping knee drop then follows with a body slam. The fans cheer as Snuka gets on the top turnbuckles and crashes down with the Superfly Splash for the pin! Snuka flashes the 'I love you' sign and heads to the podium. Schiavone: Very impressive showing. Well Jimmy, you heard the comments by Ted Dibiase. Snuka: Dibiase likes to make fun of me and talk about how rich he is. Let me tell you something brotha, money doesn't make you a better man than me or any of these good people out here. You're looking past me. Big mistake brotha and you're going to find out why in Greensboro. I earned this title shot. You might have a lot of money but you cant buy your way out of losing that US title. Dibiase, the clock has struck and your time is up. Commercial Break 'Professor' Brad Rheingans vs. Todd Rooney Brad hits several takedowns on Rooney then slaps him across the face. Brad swings Rooney to the ropes and puts him down with a forearm smash. Brad hits a vertical suplex then starts stomping away on Rooney's arm. Brad twists the arm and slaps Rooney around. Finally Brad ends it with the Kimura! Brad jumps up and down celebrating then reapplies the kimura on Rooney. The fans cheer as Great Gama runs into the ring and hammers away on Brad! Gama swings Brad to the ropes and back drops him. Gama hits a backbreaker and clamps on the Boston Crab! Brad is screaming in pain as officials run out to break it up. Gama releases the hold and raises his fist to the cheering fans. Gama starts to walk away but turns around and stomps away on Brad's back and reapplies the Boston Crab! Officials are trying to get him off but Gama is a man possessed. Finally Gama releases and leaves the fallen Brad behind. Commercial Break Crockett: Wow, that was one intense Great Gama. Brad had to be helped out. This one is far from over. With me right now are the US tag team champions Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley. Gentlemen, you have successfully defended these titles month after month. You heard the announcement by Ted Dibiase. You will be defending against the Awesome Twosome this weekend in Greensboro. Johnson: David Crockett, does Ted Dibiase think we're thrown off by this? He got them the shot and that's fine by us. Cooley: Because we've been fighting champions and have taken on all comers... The fans boo as Rick Rude and Manny Fernandez head out. Crockett: Hold on Manny: Relax David, we don't need to cause any trouble because the fact of the matter is after this weekend you will be looking at the new US Champs Daddy! You're ducking days are over boys. Rude: It really is that simple. Look at those two clowns and look at us. You two jokes haven't wrestled anybody like us and this weekend the Awesome Twosome will expose the two of you for the frauds you are. Johnson and Cooley stare at the arrogant smiling faces of Rude and Fernandez. They nod to each other and punch away on the Awesome Twosome! Crockett runs out of there. Johnson and Cooley keep firing away and the Awesome Twosome end up backing off and go to the back. The champs hold their titles high as the fans cheer. Bull Gantner vs. Clyde Putnam Bull gets a lot of cheers as he swings Clyde to the ropes and back drops him. Bull follows with a suplex, swings off the ropes and drops a knee. Bull swings Clyde to the ropes and drops him with a massive clothesline to get the pin! The fans cheer as Bull gives them a flex. Bull cuts a promo and says he'll be teaming with Paul Orndorff this weekend in Wheeling WV to take on Tiger Jeet Singh and Mark Lewin. Bull says he's pumped up beyond belief and ready for the fight! Commercial Break Schiavone: Fans, before we get to a featured bout, I want to show you footage from Pittsburg and what happened after the Orndorff/Singh Mid Atlantic title match. Footage is shown of Orndorff's small package win over Singh. Then Singh attacks Orndorff with a foreign object, throws him out of the ring. Executes a Argentine Back Rack Drop and beats Orndorff with his sword. Schiavone: Just a brutal attack. However, Paul Orndorff will be in that big tag match with Bull Gantner this weekend in Wheeling. I hope Orndorff knows what he's doing. Singh and Lewin are very dangerous and ruthless men. But then again, Orndorff does have Bull Gantner in his corner. Should be a wild night in Wheeling. Fans, back to the ring. Stampede Rush vs. Caspian Empire The bell rings and these two teams start pounding away on each other. The Ref finally gets control. Smirnoff rakes Kerry's eyes and kicks him in the mid section and tags in Sheik. Sheik hits a gut wrench suplex and covers but Kerry kicks out. Sheik clamps on a headlock but Kerry rises and hits an atomic drop that sends Sheik bumping. Kerry tags in Duke. Duke hammers away on Sheik, body slams him, swings off the ropes and hits an elbow drop and covers 1..2..Smirnoff runs in with a kick to the head. Kerry runs in and blasts Smirnoff with a running forearm blast. Stampede Rush swings Sheik to the ropes and nails him with a double back elbow smash. Duke swings off the ropes with a forearm drop and covers. The Ref is guiding Kerry back to the corner. Smirnoff fly's off the top rope with a knee on Duke's back. The Ref turns around as Sheik rolls over for the cover 1..2..3! Smirnoff grabs Sheik and they exit the ring, then hold up their arms in victory as Kerry attends to Duke. Commercial Break NWA National Champ Arthur W. Crews w/Rock Riddle vs. Dave Penson Crews swings Penson to the ropes and hits a flying shoulder block. Crews gets on the 2nd turnbuckles. Penson staggers up and Crews puts him down with a flying drop kick. Crews picks Penson up and hits a neckbreaker slam for the pin! Riddle pushes the Ref's hand out of the way and raises Crew's arm to the booing fans. Riddle and Crews head to the podium. Crockett: (Not very enthusiastic) Please welcome Rock Riddle and NWA National Champ Arthur W. Crews. Riddle: (Smiles and pats Crockett on the back) Davey Davey Davey Baby, what's going on here? Talk to me baby? I thought we agreed you would show a little more enthusiasm when the Agency comes out here. (Rock grabs Crockett's shoulders and lightly rocks them back and forth) This is your old buddy Rock Riddle talking at you. Come on Davey baby, lighten up. We're all friends here. Crockett: (Annoyed) Ok Rock, the floor is yours. Riddle: Ok Davey, well you just saw the wrestling display the NWA National Champ Arthur W. Crews put on. Crews steps forward, shines up his belt, smiles and holds it up to the camera. Riddle: Now, every great champion needs a great nickname. So after a great deal of thought by the Agency, the nickname for Arthur W. Crews will be the Blonde Bomber! (Smiles bright) It's great isn't it? What do you think Davey baby? Crockett: The only true Blonde Bomber I know is Ray Stevens. Riddle pauses and gives David a long puzzling stare. Riddle: Ray who? Crockett: Unbelievable, Rock we've got to go to a commercial break, thank goodness. Commercial Break Before the next match, Dynamite DJ Peterson comes out and cuts a promo on The Flame and says the Assassin wanted a rematch because he thinks DJ's victory last weekend was nothing but a fluke. DJ says this weekend he will show the Flame and Assassin it was no fluke! The Assassins w/The Assassin vs. Ken Jenkins and Jim Davidson Total domination by the Assassins. They hurl Davidson out of the ring. Kazuo hits Jenkins with a roundhouse kick that sends him right into a German Suplex pin by Cobra! The Assassin leads his team and The Flame to the podium. Assassin: I hope everybody got a chance to say goodbye to Hot Property. Standing behind me is the most dominant tag team in Mid Atlantic! This is the team that sent Hot Property packing! If any team gets in their way, they're going to be put down. What they did to Hot Property is a message to every team in Mid Atlantic. As for that punk DJ Peterson, The Flame deals with you this weekend! The Masked stable exits to boos. Schiavone: Very ominous words from The Assassin. Fans, joining me right now is Bad News Brown. Bad News, you and Bundy meet this weekend in Greensboro. Brown: That's right, Fat Bundy, it's you and me one more time. This time, I put your Fat behind down for good. I heard Ted Dibiase telling me I better watch out. You threatening me, Dibiase? Very stupid thing to do. That could be bad news for you! Just watch what I do to your big time client this weekend. When I get done with Bundy, you wont be able to trade him for a pair of worn out shoes. Commercial Break 'The Universal Heartthrob' Austin Idol vs. Gary Williams Idol swings Williams to the ropes and hits a back elbow smash. Idol picks up Williams and hits a Shin Breaker then clamps on the Las Vegas Leglock for the victory. The fans cheer as Idol winks and gives them a right bicep pose. Idol heads to the podium. Footage is shown from last week as Rob Fuller hits Idol from behind with a loaded towel. Idol: I thought it was over between Fuller and I, but baby I thought wrong. That's ok with me because this weekend in Wheeling, it's me and Fuller in a lights out match. That's right! Now I can finally knock Fuller out for good! And trust me baby, he's not getting up! Commercial Break Crockett: Fans, before we get to our main event, I want to show you the disturbing footage from Ashville. Footage is shown of Blackjack Mulligan hitting Jimmy Valiant with a chair while the Southern Ramblers were holding him. Paul Jones even got in some slaps. Sweet Brown Sugar tried to help but the numbers were to much to handle. Mulligan has the claw on. Valiant is a bloody mess and ends up getting stretchered out of there. Crockett: As you know, Rip Oliver was out of town during that brutal attack. Oliver was so angry by this he demanded a match with Mulligan today. The fans boo hard as Paul Jones and Blackjack Mulligan come out. Jones: Finally! Finally! At long last! I'm finally rid of that low life dirt bag, Jimmy Valiant! Blackjack Mulligan has finally done what no other wrestler from my past factions could do. He put that Valiant out of Mid Atlantic for good. Mulligan: Paul, I told you, you pay me the big money and the job will get done! Jones: Thank you! Thank you! I'm giving you a raise and you know who's next. Mulligan: Oliver! You yellow mutt! You're next! Let's do this! Blackjack Mulligan w/Paul Jones vs. Rip Oliver Mulligan doesn't even make it to the ring. The fans go wild as Rip Oliver runs out, knocks Jones down and just starts pummeling Mulligan! Oliver pounds away then swings Mulligan into the steel post! Oliver puts his knee on Mulligan's chest, grabs him by the hair and punches away on his face, busting him open. Jones runs over and is ready to hit Oliver with the cane but Oliver quickly rises and grabs Jones by his collar. The fans boo as the Southern Ramblers run out and jump Oliver. They throw him in the ring and stomp away then double body slam him. The fans erupt as Steve Armstrong and Tracy Smothers (The Southern Boys) hit the ring! They start punching away on the Ramblers. They swing the Ramblers to the ropes and double back drop them! The Ramblers stagger up and the Southern Boys drop kick them out of the ring! The fans are going wild as the Southern Boys shake their fists. Jones is shocked as Mulligan and the Ramblers are all laid out on the ground. Commercial Break Schiavone: Unbelievable! The Southern Boys have arrived! Oliver is holding his head and patting the Southern Boys on the back. Armstrong: That's right Tony, the Southern Boys are here and we're going to show the Southern Ramblers what Southern Justice is all about! Smothers: You know, our buddy Sweet Brown Sugar gave us a call and told us the situation. We know The Ramblers well and Rip Oliver, we want you to know that we got your back brother! Oliver: (Shakes their hands) Boys, I'll be happy to accept your help. A few weeks ago I made a promise to Jimmy Valiant and told him I would fight side by side and earn his trust. I should of never gone out of town. I should of known what that coward Paul Jones and his stooges would do. Paul Jones! Blackjack Mulligan! I'm coming for blood! I'm going to fulfill my promise to Jimmy Valiant. I wont rest until both of you are exterminated from Mid Atlantic. Southern Ramblers, now I have some friends. Your days are numbered Jones! Schiavone: Wow! And there you have it. Fans, we'll see you next week.
  4. A lot riding on the Harts/Demolition Match. Loving these IC contender battle royals. They just got hotter with the addition of Randy Savage and Heenan's bounty money. Strong outing for Billy Jack. Rockers seem ready for their big tag title match. Fun TV main event. Atlas looks like a million bucks but it's hard to beat a horsemen and the numbers game. Once again, the Horsemen steal the show with an epic promo. Flair continuing to taunt Hogan is gold. I'm really looking forward to the Body Shop. I have a feeling something big is going to happen. SNME card looks stacked!
  5. Great segment with Lawler. I don't think the steel cage match will end well for HTM. I like the Magnum/US Express alliance. Magnum vs. Murdoch should be a good one. Dr. Death is fired up this week. Slater/RnR vs. Midnights/Big Bubba with Cornette handcuffed to Watts is Mid South wrestling at it's best. Royal hanging with Brickhouse bumps him up a notch. Fun ending as the numbers game is starting to even up with the Wright Army.
  6. Paul E makes a huge statement and poor Gino Brito felt the wrath. Tommy Rich gets a hard fought title defense over worthy contender, Ray Rougeau. Kernodle might be getting in over his head here but then again he somehow has managed to keep that title around his waist. Good comeback win for Martel. I really liked Bullet Bob setting Candido straight. Goto and Savoldi was a fun match. Jumping Jim has been racking up some wins in Lutte. Looking forward to seeing the Portland stars compete here.
  7. Another wild night! Nice win for Perez that causes the teams to brawl. Nice seeing Bart Batten get the fall in the 6 man tag. The taped fist series has become a favorite of mine and I look forward to their house show matches. Ayala pulls this one out. Another chaotic 6 man tag as the bat really comes into play here. Wild ending! Pleasantly surprised to see the Light heavyweight title match as the main event. I love the importance you've put on the Light Heavyweight division. Owen just couldn't hang with Invader 2 tonight.
  8. Fun Card! When the opening match ends with that brawl, you know you're in for a wild show. Mercenarios get a good win but your last sentence summed up what I was thinking. The Battens might not win every match but I think they're having a pretty good run and gaining support. When I saw the participants for that 6 man tag, it turned out exactly how I thought it would. That's followed by a taped fist lumberjack match! LOL, no chance of chaos there right? Ron gets the win amongst all the craziness. Nice main event with Bam Bam retaining and Chicky playing it cool.
  9. Poor Maximillian. For his sake I hope he gets cleared soon, then watch out Shaw! Morton and Eaton teaming up is tag team gold. Morton finally gets his hands on Mero and puts him in check...for now. Brad Armstrong showing some serious fire. I wouldn't want to be Brian X right now. Looks like Sid is heading for big things in ECW. Luger and Simmons continue to draw massive heat. Larry Z in ECW! Larry Z teaming with Sandman! How awesome is that. Well, Levy had a plan but it didn't work out so well. He better leave Azrael alone. I would defiantly but a ticket for Extreme Easter.
  10. LOL, all good with Kernodle, Kev. I will say, Kernodle's career has had a nice rejuvenation. Man, poor Tommy Rich. Attacked by Sawyer and Singh in the same week. Kokina has been laying low but man did he come back with a vengeance on OMG. Savoldi with a big win over Bullet Bob. Then Candido makes it worse with a post match attack. Parsons gets a massive win over Jacques. Jacques seems to have lost focus lately. BTW, I'm also looking forward to more interpromotional matches. The road to Starrcade will be a good one.
  11. I'm all for 90 minute shows! I like how you're incorporating house show footage into your TV shows. The tag team division is on fire and gets a great showcase tonight with Caribbean Express, Battens, Crusher/Boyd, Medicos and Starrs. The Santana/Owen feud has been a pure gem. "Try not to trip over anything" LOL, Chicky is gold! As always, fun main event. The Starrs taunting Medicos with the titles at the end is such a classic heel visual. Looking forward to the next loop.
  12. Good build for two intriguing match ups. Doom and The Fab Ones is a great contrast of styles. Next you have arguably the biggest Mid South star ever, JYD taking on Hot heel Lex Luger. Add Ernie Ladd to the equation and this could be one money making feud. I like the build up for Atlantis. I also like the Landell/Brisco storyline and excited to see where this leads. Devastation Inc/Road Warriors will be an epic collision! I don't think Russia is going to be a vacation for Nikita.
  13. Classic 80s match with the US Express and Assassins. The good ol days of wrestling, when wrestlers came out to mainstream songs. Boone might of loss the match but he did some serious damage to Wright. I like this Jarrett/Armstrong-Long Riders feud because it's showing that the champs can brawl when they need to. Honky Tonk Man might of bitten off more than he could chew with Lawler. Taylor and Murdoch is turning into a nice feud. Magnum gets some sweet revenge on Ole. Kerry wins the rematch with Nikita, solidifying him as a real deal champion. Kerry has some real momentum going now. Landell scores an impressive win over Bullet Bob. Feuding with Slater will only elevate Bossman. Chaotic 6 man title bout as the Freebirds found a way to win. Obviously Williams and Gordy have unfinished business. The numbers game was just to much for Parsons as Luger retains. You can never wrong with a RnR/Midnight Express main event. RnR sends the fans home happy and Slater nailing Cornette was a bonus.
  14. I cant tell you how much I'm loving your house shows. You're doing such a great job with them. Hot opening 6 man tag to really get the crowd going. I've always enjoyed when tag wrestlers go one on one like here with Medico 1 and Merc 1. If I heard Owen was teaming with Chicky, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a ticket. Santana gets the pin on Owen, just adds more fuel to this heated feud. Owen/Santana has been one of my favorite feuds in this game. Colon and Invader 2 needed that win. Even though coming up short, Victor and Tamba make a pretty good team. Awesome main event as Ron evens up the series with a dirty low blow. I liked seeing this match in the main event.
  15. Yea Good point Kev. I was just watching and reading about the Hot Summer Night Aloha Stadium shows they held in August during the 80s. They brought in a ton of talent for the shows. It was pretty cool. Anyways, just got me thinking.
  16. I'm not sure if this has been brought up before so I wanted to run this by you guys. Would there be any objections to running a special event in Hawaii?
  17. MACW drops Pat Rose from my jobber pack and would like to pick up Terry Gibbs.
  18. MACW @ The Civic Arena, Pittsburg PA 7-27-86 Vinnie Valentino vs. Pat Rose Pat takes control early with some body slams and headlock takeovers. Pat has Vinnie in a headlock, Vinnie rises up and back suplexes Pat. Vinnie swings off the ropes and hits a drop kick. Pat stops the momentum with an eye rake, swings Vinnie to the ropes and goes down for a back drop but Vinnie sunset flips over and gets the pin! 'Professor' Brad Rheingans vs. 'Cowboy' Scott Casey Brad works over Casey with some excellent amateur wrestling. He gets a quick waist lock on Casey then hits an overhead back suplex. Casey slowly gets up and Brad slaps him across the face, which infuriates Casey and wakes him up. Casey pounds away on Brad, swings him to the ropes and back drops him then follows with a drop kick, Brad staggers up and Casey puts him down with a drop kick. Casey swings Brad into the turnbuckles, clamps on a headlock and goes for the Running Bulldog but Brad carries the momentum and pushes Casey into the opposite turnbuckles. Casey staggers back and Brad executes a Bridging Back Suplex for the pin! Brad then stomps away on Casey's arm and applies the Kimura! The Ref is telling him to release the hold. Brad releases the hold then jumps up and down in celebration as the fans let him have it. Fabulous Blondes w/Rock Riddle vs. The Renegade Warriors Pretty even match as both teams struggle to get control for the first few minutes. Warriors get control as they swing Timbs to the ropes and hit a double chop. Mark swings off the ropes and hits a body splash 1..2..Wells breaks it with an elbow drop. Chris runs in and nails Wells with a chop. Mark picks up Timbs and swings him into the turnbuckles, Timbs staggers into a back drop. Mark tags in Chris. Chris gets up on the top rope. Chris stumbles forward and Timbs puts him down with a high knee and tags in Wells. Wells and Chris are hammering away on each other. The bell rings as Mark hits the Sling Shot Splash on Timbs. Time limit has expired. A Draw. The Ref breaks up Wells and Chris. The Warriors are disappointed. Riddle consoles his men. The Warriors are leaving when The Blondes jump them and pound away. They hurl Mark out of the ring. They grab Chris and execute their Double Facelock Drop. Riddle raises the Blondes arms up as the fans boo. 'Dynamite' DJ Peterson vs. The Flame w/The Assassin Flame tries to charge DJ before the bell rings but DJ turns around and back drops him. The Assassin is still in the ring yelling at DJ but hightails it when DJ goes after him. Flame gets up and charges again but DJ turns around and starts blasting him, swings him to the ropes and hits a drop kick. DJ gets up on the turnbuckles and goes for a knee drop but Flame moves. Flame stomps away on DJ, then drags him over the 2nd rope. DJ is hanging there, Flame swings off the ropes and hits a flying knee to the back. Flame chokes DJ on the 2nd rope. The Ref makes him break but Flame repeats this. Flame picks DJ up and body slams him then chokes him with his boot and follows with several knee drops. Flame backs up and distracts the Ref while The Assassin runs over and chokes DJ. Flame picks up DJ and swings him to the turnbuckles. DJ hops up on the 2nd turnbuckle, lunges back, turns around and catches Flame with a flying body press 1..2..3! DJ gets the pin out of nowhere! Assassin is up on the apron. DJ runs over and drop kicks him off! Flame is having a fit as DJ leaves the ring with the crowd cheering. Bull Gantner vs. 'Maniac' Mark Lewin Bull waits in the ring while Lewin circles on the outside, flipping chairs over and stomping around. Bull is ready for action but Lewin throws a chair in the ring towards him. Bull has enough and goes out after him. Lewin rakes his eyes and slams his head on a table. Lewin grabs another chair. The Ref tries to stop him but Lewin pushes him down. Lewin heads towards Bull but Bull kicks him, kicks him again and gets the chair. Bull WHACKS Lewin over the head with the chair! Officials run out to stop this from going further. The crowd cheers as Bull holds up the chair. This match was thrown out. If Hot Property loses they leave Mid Atlantic. If Assassins lose they unmask Hot Property vs. The Assassins w/The Assassin Assassin is still a little woozy so he doesn't even enter the ring. This match is back and forth as both teams have a lot at stake here. Hot Property has a good segment with quick tags and good double teaming as they hit double back drops, double hip tosses and double drop kicks. Assassins get their segments in with a double stomach breaker, double body slams and double vertical suplex. Kazuo hits Savoldi with a spin kick which sends him into a knee strike by Cobra. Cobra follows with a snap suplex and tags in Kazuo, who fly's off the 2nd turnbuckle with a knee drop 1..2..Travis breaks it. Cobra runs in but Travis drop kicks him to the corner. 19. Beefcake and Houston are gelling pretty well and get a big win over Hot Stuff Inc. Fun 6 man tag as Tojo's men get a big win over the masked faces. Wow, tough night for Link and it ends with a fireball in the face! Dirty White Boys send the Southern Boys packing. I think Terry Funk might of had a rougher night than Link. Dr. D showed no mercy and wins the North American Title. That's bad enough, then Adonis takes full advantage and takes his Texas Title. Funk now has scores to settle with Hart and Pringle. Freebirds stand tall in the end with a victory over the beloved Von Erichs. Freebirds have been pretty dominant as 6 man champs.
  20. That Omni card already looks like a big deal. Doom and Dr. Death will be a big challenge for the Freebirds. Road Warriors are really making their rounds in the NWA. I like this Demon gimmick for Adams. US Express/Iran Cuban Assassins program could be one of those mid card gem feuds. Classic Mid South face turn for Slater. Very well done. Cornette really made that work. Slater brawling with Bubba, yea I'm all for it. Taylor/Murdoch will be a good match but Taylor should keep his eyes on Wright. I wonder how long Dibiase can keep up this pace? He's going to have to deal with Terry Funk in WCCW and now he's dealing with JYD in the UWF. Ladd has some strong words and it looks like there's more to come. The UWF is on fire right now.

  22. Always love seeing Mantel and Jaggers go at it, didn't seem like Leduc was to interested in it LOL. Owen and Santana are out of control. Only a street fight can only resolve this. Ayala gets the first taped fist win. I liked the clean match between Invaders and Battens. Just two contending teams wrestling. Man, Chick and friends have been getting the best of Colon and friends on the loop.
  23. LOL the Brian X gimmick is classic 90s. I hope Maximilan can prove his innocence. Eaton continues to shine as TV champ. Only a matter of time when Morton squares off with Mero. Loved the Sid and Nord videos. These guys fit right in with ECW. Down the road that could be a big money feud. I'm sure Levy has something up his sleeve for Azrael. Man, Simmons and Luger are getting monster heat!
  24. Great follow up from the Bash. Creative way continuing the Adonis/Street feud. Muta and Kendo training in Tojo's dojo is an awesome visual. Terry Funk going ahead with the match against Dr. D might be a mistake but I wouldn't stand in his way LOL. Nice interview with Kerry. I think he has what it takes to be a good drawing traveling champion. Southern Boys and Dirty White Boys are ending things once and for all. Fun TV main event featuring the Road Warriors.

I don't mean any disrespect Tony Schiavone but I need to talk to my personal announcer, Davey Baby. Schiavone shakes his head as David Crockett comes out to save him from this. Crockett sighs. Crockett: Ok, Rock, what's on your mind? Riddle: Come on Davey Baby, the Agency deserves a little more enthusiasm. It's cool, I'll let it slide. Well then again, I guess that somberness is fitting for what's first up on my agenda. You know in Hollywood, sometimes when an actor's studio contract is up, he ends up signing with another studio. It's just part of the business. Well, Tom Prichard and the Agency have parted ways but Tom is going to be just fine. I dealt with another great business man, who reminds me a lot of Hollywood. I'm talking about Luscious Johnny V. Johnny and Tom are a match made in Hollywood Heaven. Good Luck Tom. Now, you just saw Arthur W. Crews, the NWA National Champ in action. Didn't he look great. Crews holds up his title and puts a shine on it as Timbs and Wells smile and pat him on the back. Riddle: Right here and now, we are issuing a challenge to anybody in the NWA who wants a shot at this belt. Arthur wants to travel around and beat wrestlers in other territories. In other words the Agency wants to showcase its prized gem. Next up, there's a team that's gotten under my skin, the Renegade Warriors. They put on a real touching show as the Youngblood brothers have reunited. There's a real B movie for you. My Fabulous Blondes were robbed of their chance at the US titles but we're shooting right back up the ladder and we're starting with you Renegade Warriors. That's a lot to take in, right Davey Baby? Now next time I want you to liven up a bit. I know you got it in you Davey Baby, I know you do. Riddle leads his men out. Crockett: (Long pause) Fans we'll be back for our Television Title Bout. Commercial Break TV Title Bout Tommy 'Wildfire' Rich (C) vs. Alexis Smirnoff w/Iron Sheik Sheik and Smirnoff attack Rich before the bell. The Ref gets Sheik out of the ring and signals for the bell. Smirnoff puts the boots to Rich. Smirnoff body slams Rich, grabs the ropes and drops several knees then starts choking Rich with his boot. Smirnoff hurls Rich out of the ring and distracts the Ref as Sheik stomps on Rich. The fans cheer as Stampede Rush runs out and hammers away on Sheik. They double team him. Smirnoff heads out but officials come out and break it up then escort Sheik and Stampede Rush to the back. Rich hits Smirnoff from behind and hurls him back into the ring. Rich punches away on Smirnoff, swings him to the ropes and hits the Thesz Press 1..2..3!!! The crowd goes crazy! Tommy holds up the TV title and heads to the podium. Schiavone: Big win and another successful TV title defense for Tommy 'Wildfire' Rich. How does it feel? Rich: Tony Schiavone, I'm on cloud nine baby! It's a privilege to be out here defending this here title. I'm ready to take on all comers ... Schiavone: Watch Out!!! Rich is leveled from behind by...Mad Dog Buzz Sawyer! Sawyer picks up Rich and runs him face first into the steel post, busting him open! Sawyer picks up Rich and rams him into the steel post again! Sawyer runs to the podium. Sawyer: Guess who's here Wildfire! (Laughs) Guess who's here! Officials run out to check on Rich. Sawyer runs over and pushes them out of the way. Sawyer picks up Rich and Power Slams him on the concrete! Sawyer picks up an unconscious Rich and Power Slams him on the concrete again! Schiavone: We need help out here! Wrestlers from the back run out. Sawyer is laughing hysterically as the show ends.
