  2. MACW has sent Nick and Kelly Kiniski to SF Big Time Wrestling. To fill their spots in the Jobber Pack, I would like to pick up Steve Pardee and Vinnie Valentino.
  3. Magnum TA is having one heck of a UWF run. I'm picking him to win the tournament. Brody and Hansen vs. Dr. Death and Barbarian, ok I just bought a ticket. Now we get an opportunity of a lifetime as we get a shot at the National Tag Titles. Travis: Stud Stable, bad karma got the best of you and you lost the US titles. Now I haven't forgotten what you cowards did to me and my partner and I will get our own payback. Right now we have to focus on the Midnight Express and the National titles. We hear Jimmy Cornette was laughing and couldn't believe they actually had to travel to Greensboro and face a team like us. Cornette, don't underestimate Hot Property. David cost me a match against Robinson. Now before I deal with young David, Billy and I have unfinished business. This weekend in Greensboro, you and me, one more time around the bend old friend. Singh: You waste valuable time talking about the Road Warriors coming in to defend the NWA titles. Everybody talks about how big and tough the Road Warriors are. We have teamed up before and we have left men lying in their own blood! On May 25th, the Road Warriors will have to defend their titles against myself and Abdullah the Butcher! Mark my words, you will pay! Schiavone: My goodness, a very emotional and fired up Tui Selinga. I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of the Caspian Empire right now. Ok, fans we want to take you to some pre recorded comments from the United States Champion, The Million Dollar man, Ted Dibiase. Dibiase is relaxing by a swimming pool. Dibiase: (Laughs) I thought I would spend some of my hard earned money on a much needed vacation. You see while all the top names in wrestling are fighting for the Cup up in Canada, I'm just relaxing. After all, I don't have anything to prove. The Million Dollar Man is now calling the shots. I have the money and I have the United States Championship, so I can do whatever I want. Now, Hacksaw Duggan has been whining and crying since I beat him to win the US title. Now he goes out and gets a special mystery partner to face myself and Stan Hansen. (Laughs) Duggan, do you really think you and anybody on this planet can beat myself and Hansen? Don't worry Duggan, we'll be in Orlando on the 10th because I want to be done with you once and for all. On to the big news. 6. Awwwwww man, Hogan lays it all out there. I think the seeds have been planted for the biggest rematch in history. Love the TV tag team matches. I'm hoping Power and Glory get a huge push. Looks like the Rockers get some payback on Jimmy Hart. Savage and Windham keep tearing it up on the loop. Hogan gets a big comeback win over OMG in a Texas Death Match, solidifying that he's back brother! Cant wait for the next SNME.
  7. What a night of surprises! Kokina wins the National Title and Don Kernodle wins the Canadian International title! Looks like Don's frustration got him what he wanted. Death Sentence carry's their AWA fire over here with a steel cage victory over the Killer Bees. Good to see Gino Brito continue his winning ways. Adonis didn't make weight??? LOL. That's a big win for Benoit.
  8. Owen scores a win over the Light Heavyweight champ, perhaps earning himself a future shot. Always fun seeing Abby on tour as he always brings the chaos. Fatu with a big win over the Superfly. In Snuka's defense, I think Blackjack Mulligan has taken a lot out of him LOL. Looks like the Rougeaus had a tough time with Gilles and Simpson.
  9. Yea that opening segment really added more heat to Nikita. He's probably the most feared man in the NWA right now. Cant wait for the Martel/Nikita match. Love the Mighty Seminole Warrior angle. I don't know if anybody can take his mask off. The Rich/Gilbert feud is out of control! Houston with a big win over The Spoiler. I think big things are coming for the Ultimate Warrior. Ron Wright has a new monster in Grizzly Boone, I hope Bullet Bob and Ron Fuller are keeping their eyes on him.
  10. Really liked the Death Sentence/Guerreros match. Looks like the masked henchman helped Playboy After Dark get back on the winning track. Great finish to the Piper/Jake match, furthering their intense feud. Z-Man and Furnas are heading for a big showdown. Pillman is really making his mark, taking Tanaka to the limit. The tag main event was money.
  11. Cant wait for the tournaments. I like the fun Whatley/Austin pairing as well as the crazy Stomper/Lewin team. Like Edger, I'll go with the Kansas Jayhawks. As for the single's tournament, I'll pull for the Cow Palace icon Ray Stevens. I like his 'Last Stand' statement. I'll also be keeping an eye on Timothy Flowers.
  12. WOW! Baba wins it! I thought Inoki was going to win, after that attack by Nikita. Fun and surprising ending. Japan really looked strong during the 3 day event. Successful title defenses and representing the finals. Martel overcomes the odds and defeats Gordy. Once again Martel proves he's the real deal. Awesome event! All your hard work paid off. Outstanding job Edger!
  13. Yep, SpiveyMania runs wild over the Mad Dog. Tanaka just continues to impress me. I find the Zenk/Furnas feud so interesting. The Guerreros continue to be dominant in 6 man tags. Adams is really cleaning up his act. That's a big win for Scorpio over the former tag team champ, Sommers. Speaking of tag teams, great match between Razor Boys and British Steel.
  14. Does anybody in this world generate more heat than Chicky Starr? I love how he rides Santana for breaking the rules, coming from him just cracks me up. Invader 1 with a passionate promo about Colon. The tag team division is getting really interesting right now. Tamba is making his mark and could become a major player under the guidance of Chicky. The Owen Hart segment was very well done and looks like he pulled one over on his brother, Bruce. Castillo and Perez look to be happy and confident following their big win. I'm sure July 5th will settle a lot of scores. Watch out Abdullah because when Colon gets his sight back, he's going to be out for blood.
  15. Awesome follow up with Round 2. Oh man, Orndorff beats Race with the piledriver! This is going to add heat to their feud. I'm sure Pillman got people talking after holding his own against Piper. Strong showing from Terry Taylor, no shame in losing to a legend like Inoki. I agree, Japan's reps are looking strong. Abby and Studd would of been a great spectacle to watch. Fujinami will a great title defense over Backlund. Good to see Orndorff represent MACW well, but tough task ahead against Baba. I don't know if Martel will be ready for Gordy, doesn't look good for the champ. So far, this has more than lived up to the hype.
  16. TV was great! Zenk goes heel, wow this will be very interesting. Piper's Pit/Snakepit feud just keeps getting better as both teams continue to trade wins. Douglas/Hector was a fun match. Who is the new henchman for Playboy After Dark??? Action packed card at the Met. Orton punching the Ref shows the frustration. Rotundo and Larry Z is a great match up, good win for Rotundo. SpiveyMania has a strong defense against Saito. Death Sentence are becoming serious contenders. Black Irish and British Steel get my money every time. Top all this off with Bock and Steamboat. Man the AWA must be racking in the money right now.
  17. Wow, so much going on in WCCW! Embry and Garvin crack me up once again LOL! However, the Road Warriors got the last laugh. Ice Man wins the TV title. A heel title run will be so much fun to watch. What a card in Ft. Worth. Mask confusion everywhere! Grapplers lose theirs, Super Destroyers and Von Erichs in a wild melee and new Grapplers appear. The Funks/Von Erich feud is at an all time high. YES! Studd and Lawler one more time, I'm all for it! Midnights and Fabs looked like a classic. Looking forward to more Dream/JYD. All this and the Freebirds are riding high.
  18. Good Grief what an explosive start to the tournament! A night of twists and turns. Nikita in jail, Martel in serious jeopardy, Hansen, Magnum, Slaughter, Von Erich, Funk and Rhodes out of the tournament. The territory feuds had a major impact on the tournament. What a scaffold match! Kernodle has been losing it but man he went over the edge tonight. Man cant wait for round 2!

  20. Landell and Houston is a fun match to me. Ultimate Warrior scores the biggest win to date over the Barbarian. Wow, Dr. Death destroys the Superstar. Kendall Windham is sure holding his own against Slater. Love the feud going on with Midnights, Nightmares and RnR. The Rich/Gilbert feud heats up even more as Missy goes with Rich. Despite the loss, Roop and Moretti seem like they would make a good team. It's funny seeing Street get over in this environment. That's great writing on your part. Hmmmm, where was Baby Doll??? Looks like Reed found himself a powerhouse of a partner. Road Warriors continue to be dominant champions. The ending to the main event was a great visual as Nikita and Magnum are heading for an explosive showdown!
  21. The excitement is in the air as Big Time Wrestling makes its return! It's in good hands with Shire and Stevens. Looking forward to the tournaments with a lot of familiar faces coming in.
  22. I agree, your tag team division is on fire. Cant wait for Tully/Arn vs. Hart Foundation. I have a feeling this will be a much better version of Volkoff and Zhukov than IRL. Bull and One Man Gang is really heating up. Liked the Axe/Davey Boy match, fun TV main event. What a segment by the Horsemen! Love the additions of Angel and Sherri. I've said this before but I'm really liking Flair/Santana. And now Wahoo is in the mix! The WWF is experiencing a great shift right now.

  24. Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling News The arrival of Ted Dibiase has sent shockwaves throughout the NWA, as he won the United States championship in his MACW debut. The Crockett's had been in serious negotiations with Dibiase for weeks. Dealing with the huge loss of Flair, Tully and Arn, the Crockett's felt they had to bring in a top tier talent to help fill that void. They were more than willing to open up their pocket books in order to sign Dibiase. Dibiase is using this for his 'Million Dollar Man' character. Dibiase and Hacksaw Duggan will be the headlining feud as the Crockett's think this will keep the crowds coming in. After what went down at the Spring Spectacular, Stan Hansen will be incorporated in the feud, along with some special appearances as partners for Duggan. Ole Anderson has been released and this was a mutual agreement. Ole felt he needed a change of scenery and the Crockett's want JJ Dillon to go in a different direction as quick as possible. They feel getting away from Horsemen ties and starting up new and fresh angles is the best way to go. The Crockett's are high on the JJ Dillon, King Kong Bundy pairing and think these two can make quite an impact in Mid Atlantic. The Crockett's have also been very pleased with the Harley Race/Paul Orndorff feud. They feel these two in ring vets will get the job done on TV and bring in the crowds for their house show matches. To spruce up the mid card, Paul Jones Army has been revamped. Rip Oliver will be his singles guy, as the feud with Jimmy Valiant will continue. The fans seem to like this feud so the Crockett's are going to keep it going. Also, Johnny Rich and Randy Rose will team up as the Southern Ramblers. They will feud with Jones's former team of the Devil's Duo. Look for a new name for the Duo. Another angle that seems to have gotten over is Rock Riddle and his agency. Tom Prichard has received high marks during his current run as TV champ. Mid Atlantic favorite Mark Youngblood will be next in line for a program with Prichard. Other feuds like Snuka/Mulligan and St. Clair/Robinson have been drawing well. Tiger Jeet Singh is getting more buzz portraying the madman. Look for Abdullah the Butcher to come in and team with Singh to take on NWA World Tag Champs, the Road Warriors at the Memorial Day Event. The Crockett's are also very high on Terry Taylor and feel he has risen to the occasion as a top star. Speaking of rising to the occasion, the trigger was pulled and Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley are the new US Tag Team Champs. The Crockett's love this pairing and are excited about the many contenders waiting to match up with them, such as The Stud Stable, The Fabulous Blondes, Caspian Empire and Assassins. Another team rising with popularity is Hot Property. They will be rewarded a match with NWA National Champs, The Midnight Express. Add in new arrivals like Polynesian Power and the Steiner Brothers, MACW has tag team depth right now. An angle involving Austin Idol and Rob Fuller will start soon. The fans have taken a liking to the charismatic Idol and the Crockett's think him and Fuller could have some good chemistry. On that note, a program with Bob Backlund and Brad Rheingans has started. This is somewhat of an experiment as the goal is for this to be a unique heated scientific feud. We'll see how long that lasts. Another fun program that has started is between Sweet Brown Sugar and The Cobra. The Crockett's feel these two will put on some solid high flying and exciting matches. Tension has been rising between Corporal Kirchner and Don Kernodle. The Crockett's think American Made are great working hands to have and big plans are on the horizon for these two. Yes, the Crockett's suffered a huge loss by losing the Horsemen but feel they are rebounding well with the roster they have put together. Should be an exciting year as they head into the Great American Bash season.
  25. Flair and Santana is such an exciting match for me. Santana is a good first opponent for Flair around the horn. Tully and Arn going against the Rockers is sheer excitement. I also love Hercules and Roma going with Jimmy Hart. A nice little change up there. Can't wait to hear what Flair has to say.
