  1. It must be drawing some sort of audience but I just can't imagine who because it has such a dealthy lack of buzz
  2. Just saw the gif of Taker doing the tombstone on Goldberg. Jesus Christ, he almost killed him.
  3. I have no intention of watching MurderMania but Dave live tweeting the show is hugely entertaining
  4. Was the blood a blade job or hardway? I thought it was hardway. Either way, I had great fun with this match and it looked like the participants did too. A nice break from the usual New Japan big match style of elaborate reversal sequences etc. Agree that the crowd brawl was a littler perfunctory but things got going well after that. Moxley dished out a good beating on Robinson and I love how he kept going back to targeting the cut. That suplex through the table looks rough and I loved the release vertical thing Mox did as well. He wasn't exactly known for his strong offence in WWE so it was nice to see him have some rough looking moves as well as stiff lariats to go with the new finish as well. I'm not hugely familiar with Juice but I thought his performance as the resilient babyface was excellent. He sold like hell and bumped hard as well as getting colour. I loved the consistency of the selling too - being dazed and wobbly on his feet throughout after having his head busted. He wasn't just selling the moves in the moment and then getting onto his next spots. He had some nicely timed hope spots too with the spinebuster and later the chair throw. Good fire in the comeback too and some sweet punches to boot. You could tell he was enthusiastic about this match - so much so that he overshot the cannonball through the table towards the end. I think they maybe could've trimmed the fat a little in terms of the crowd brawling at the start and the submission trading towards the end which I don't think added much but as a first match and a mission statement for the new Moxley, this is exactly what it should have been. I'd love to see him bring move of this style to New Japan against a range of opponents but Juice was awesome enough here for me to want to see a rematch as well. Good fun. ****
  5. Apparently they had planned on Nia Vs Natalya before she got hurt, which would make sense purely from what their usual attire is
  6. Did anyone catch that Moxley vs Juice match? I'll watch it when I'm done with work but I've seen it getting strong feedback online. Hopefully it lives up to that rather than people just being overexcited for his first match out of WWE.
  7. I wish Goldberg was ten years younger so he could just be the top babyface. He comes off so natural on the mic and she's believable both as the family man and the ass kicker.
  8. Hope everything is good KawadaSmile
  9. That's an interesting theory. Even then, while scripting is not ideal, it doesn't have to be as awful as it is if not for Vince's weird obsession with bizarre verbiage. It feels like the current situation is just a culmination of Vince quirks and hang-ups coming together.
  10. Keller's advertising makes his show absolutely unlistenable. It seems like there's a break for every three minutes of content.
  11. In a way, it seems like the most obvious thing in the world because if you have any of that self-awareness but you also feel insecure about it then you'll over-compensate with the homophobia etc
  12. Funny, this is almost exactly what Ambrose/Moxley says in the interview with Jericho that just came out. How everyone can see it but them really is something. We know they're miopic but Jesus.
  13. I don't think he's the worst thing in the world but he's a midcard heel way way above his paygrade. Putting him all over TV so much last autumn completely overexposed him.
  14. This was a fun spotfest to me with some standout spots - Fenix springing from the ropes to frankensteiner Nick Jackson (I think) being the highlight. I think it went about 5 minutes and a few nearfalls too far though. My interest and that of the crowd peaked with the stomp-into-cradle piledriver spot and the heat went a little downhill from there as we waited for the inevitable Meltzer Driver. Fun but too much. ***1/2
  15. Boombox Brock is not something I ever thought I'd see
  16. It's bizarre and ridiculous that all of their best content is buried either on the network or on YouTube. If they clipped this documentary and showed it in ten minute segments over a few weeks on Raw, they'd make her into a way bigger star than she is.
  17. Jericho working Okada too. I wonder if there's a formal relationship there or if they're just letting the guys work Japan until the TV starts in autumn.
  18. Though fight forever chants are still intolerable dogshit unfortunately
  19. I mean, I don't believe that for a second but they're at least going to do it with a degree of subtlety
  20. Mark Henry was the one asking the question btw
  21. AOC being All In is really odd and remarkable. WWE should lean hard in the other direction simply for my own amusement and have Vince call Donald to do a tweet about the Saudi show.
  22. They'd be stupid to bury him anyway because a) it would piss off his pals and b) if he ever comes back he'll be a much bigger star for having been away.
  23. I'd love to know what the contract offers were
