Back at 9 Corpses. Where does you're sn name come from? Is it Poe? Thrones? Did you come up with yourself and if so should we notify authorities to prevent a 10th victim.
-
9 Corpses so don't deny that cuckolding is what you are into? Its ok if you are, people around here are pretty accepting. Also are you yourself a user of male enhancement? Your flacidity could explain much of your anger towards women.
-
Ok so I just went on urban dictionary to clear all of this up. "Soys" is short for Soy-Boy. Soy boy is just an insult for effeminate straight males. Got it. "Cuck" is short for cuckold, which is 9 Corpses Hang in the Mist's most used search term on pornhub and an activity he himself fantasies about yet cannot find other willing participants to join him in. It is also an insult for male democrats. Got it.

I think refunding tickets is holding yourself accountable, they could be taking a bath on that depending upon how many people request refunds. The show only drew 3,000. With the cost of the venue, international flights for talent from overseas, talent costs, etc. The show might be barely breaking even anyways but giving refunds could be a huge loss. And as for the two wrestlers in question, are they ever getting booked again after this sort of backlash? I would assume not. So there will be some sort of financial consequences but no boycotts, no main stream media coverage. Also I am now more confused. What is a cuck or a SJW? I thought i was pretty up to date with my insults and slurs. Obviously not.

So is it a slur against hipsters or Asians? I fail to understand.
-
Also what are the soys?

Here's an actual question for people here who are in the wrestling business, is it standard for workers to undergo background checks on prior to being booked? I've gone through a background check several times for different jobs, and it doesn't seem like a necessary expense for a one off independent wrestling show. I had never heard of either of these guys prior to Saturday, so I don't know if its common knowledge about their criminal issues as their existence isn't common knowledge. Omega issued a press release apologizing for booking them. He denied any knowing of their criminal record. He offered a refund and said they wouldn't appear on any shows he promotes in the future. I'm not exactly sure what more could be done to clean up the mess from a PR stand point.

Changing topics. CMLL is really fucking good right now. the Anniversary show is possibly going have LA Park vs Rush on top with Caristico vs Penta as the semi main. Holy shit, assuming things don't fall apart because you know its Mexico, that's the show of the year.
-
So who wants to handicap the outcomes of LA Park's matches this summer? I've got him showing up to Triplemania at 1 to 2. Losing his mask at Triplemania at 10 to 1. I've got the Mask vs Hair match with Rush happening at even money. And I've got him losing his mask to Rush at 5 to 3. Sound about right?

Gordi you want next week?

Wow differ closed. Where did NOAH move its offices to? Also has NOAH drawn over 2,000 paid at all in the past 3 years? There's really no way they come close to DDT's recent numbers in the 5,000- 6,000 range. I would expect it to be around BJW's big show last year that drew about 3,000. Its just the NOAH brand is doesn't have a following and neither KENTA nor Marufuji were ever draws.
-
Wow Marafuji has been around 20 years? I feel old. Marafuji vs KENTA couldn’t fill Sumo Hall with Misawa and Akiyama on the undercard in 06. Or in 08. Or in 09. This should really be at Differ or Korakuen Hall.

So I put together a google doc with about 15 to 20 matches from the Park vs Rush feud (so far). Shoot me a message and I'll send it to you.

Week 3 I thought I'd go with a very, very puroresu.tv type of match Leon Spinks vs Atsushi Onita 5/24/92 Martial Arts Cage Match I find this match to be a very polarizing match which makes for great discussion. Spinks is a former heavyweight world champion boxer, and thus he has a great looking right hand and some beautiful combinations. However his best days athletically are behind him and his complete lack of wrestling experience leave him a fish out of water. Onita though bumps and bleeds, and bumps and bleeds some more. Onita makes Spinks look like the animal who beat Ali back in 77, as opposed to the punchy, middle aged, has been coming off of losing 7 of his last 9 fights. The match is awkward and clunky the way any match with a non worker would be. But it also features some of the all time greatest selling and bumping by Onita to make that non worker look like a monster. The way Onita snaps his head back when the jab connects, staggers when a hook or body shot connects, and flops when the straight right connects is the best most realistic selling of punches I've ever seen. The match features the trade mark Onita comeback. Despite the clumsiness and and awkward moments in the match, the crowd stays hot and Onita has them in the palm of his hand. Onita firing up is reminds me in many ways of Lawler. Anyways, I've found in discussions about this match people either love it because of Onita's selling and how he fires up on the comeback or they hate it because they can't get over the awkward, clumsy moments caused by a non worker being in the ring. I'll go 83% or 4 and 1/4 stars for a match that doesn't neatly fit into any ratings criteria.

I was thinking about trying to get a playlist together with everything from the Park vs Rush feud.
-
Parks vs Munoz brothers from IWRG two days ago is on youtube. Wild brawling. Seems like the sort of thing that would be right up the Segunda Caida guys alley.
-
Id be down for bringing back puroresu.tv's match of the week. that was some of greatest wrestling discussion/debate I ever talk part in.

Hey Boricua good to see you back around here. When Worlds Collide was Art Barr's last match. Good call with that one. He died 2 weeks later. I'm going to throw out Tenryu's retirement match vs Okada. Loved the drama

I'm going with ECW. I've been to a lot of wrestling shows, I've never had as much fun at a wrestling show as I did at an ECW show. I've also watched a lot of wrestling and I don't I've ever had as much fun watching wrestling as I did watching it back then. Also if it weren't for ECW I never would have gone out of my way to buy and trade for tapes of IWA Japan, Michinoku Pro, FMW, AAA, Memphis, or Mid South as a teenager. Had I not done that I probably never would have fallen in love with wrestling to level I did where I still follow it.

How do you factor in agents/trainers when evaluating wrestlers?
joeg replied to fxnj's topic in Pro Wrestling
I think this is a very valid point. Don't know if it is true or not, but suposedly the reason why the WWE referees wear those ear pieces at TV now a days is so that the agent can call the match instead of the wrestlers. -

Explain to me why I'm watching this nonsense instead of Westworld or Billions or the NBA playoffs

I was just thinking Jericho belongs on this list. I look at my favorite feuds over the past decade and he's involved in half of them.
