WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!
SirEdger replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Probably. But I remember that they had some sort of Lana/Rusev wedding anniversary celebration a while back (during Rusev vs Roman Reigns' feud) -
From what I heard, a handshake deal with ROH for a few dates.

That's all fine and well but if we can't as fans know for sure when, in Kairi's case, the concussion happened in the match, how can we be sure that those spotters will know themselves? Maybe it's more time for WWE management to change their mentality of "sucking it up" and making talents afraid to say when they're injured in fear of losing their push and their spot. It's stuff like this that often makes fans wonder if Vince truly cares about his roster.

I'll follow along on Twitter for shits and giggles but not watching.

I agree with @El-P...TV should be 2 hours and PPV should be 3 hours. When the pace flows really good, a 2-hr show works like a charm. I mean, just like at Dynamite. They haven't had legit any bad show since they started. I don't know why WWE was so hellbent on going 3 or 4 hours.

Did they give a reason as to why they switched Ohtani with Low Ki?

WWE TV 12/09 - 18/09 Cruzeiro got relegated! Fuck them!

Well, with that, I guess she has to be out of Takeover Blackpool II. I don't know how severe the attack was but if I go by when my grandmother had hers, it took her at least a month to get back to normal. -
In my quest to discover puro stuff, other than New Japan, Dragon Gate always had a soft spot in my heart. Both Dragon Kid and Masato Yoshino played a pivotal part in the promotion's history and I hope to have the opportunity to see more stuff from these two. For those more familiar with this rivalry, what stands out?

Yeah, and it's not like Punk's wife is latina or something. -
Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels (World Wrestling Entertainment)
SirEdger posted a topic in The Rivalries
2 of the all-time greats with similar paths to success; one from Calgary, breaking out from the Hart Foundation and becoming the go-to guy for Vince when he decided to trigger his youth movement. The other from San Antonio, TX, breaking out from the Rockers with one of the most infamous heel turns in modern history who became the man Vince relied on to lead the company at the door of the Attitude Era. Both men forever associated with the most controversial event in pro wrestling history with the Montreal Screwjob. They were long bitter rivals who couldn't be in the same room together but as time heals wounds, they now buried the hatchet. Still, they gave us some of the greatest matches and moments in WWF/WWE history. Discuss here. -

Primo's suspension is so weird, considering he's working exclusively for his dad lately. -
*sigh* Every time you think Big Cass got the message, he pulls that shit again.

If you're to induct the "original" original NWO, then, Ted Dibiase should be in along with Hogan, Hall, Nash & Waltman. He was a central part of the early days of the NWO right before Eric Bischoff was revealed as the mastermind. I'm at least expecting Bischoff to induct them.

Just give us the book of WWE. We'll make the Brit-Am Brawlers the most feared tag team in pro wrestling. -

For what it's worth, I believe that Marty Scurll owns the Villain Enterprises trademark. So this might not be strictly ROH-related. -
Gotta go with Okada as well. He literally has carried New Japan on his shoulders from the moment he got his big push and won his first IWGP title and every win against him is treated as a big deal. Roman Reigns has been the victim of WWE's booking and Vince's obsession to shove someone down fans' throats when they clearly don't want to. And now that Roman has returned after beating cancer, he could be that guy for WWE but Vince has now decided that it's more entertaining booking him against the likes of charisma vacuums like Baron Corbin and here we are. By his work, Roman never deserved all the hate he received due to his booking and because of WWE's philosophy, now that he is accepted by fans, he'll never get close to what Okada has accomplished.

In Lio Rush's case, I'll give him credit for owning up to his actions and he did what he had to do and as a result, he's killing it as the NXT Cruiserweight Champion. He's exactly where he should be and more power to him. I hope that Jeff Hardy can get his act together as well.

It's realistic to think that Oney's issues weren't as serious as many who want out (see Mike Kanellis & Luke Harper) and his demands were easily met. Still thrilled it is the case because Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch are one helluva tag team when they work together. -
Of course, this is our fault. We're the ones who completely blew a gasket over a shirt and accused WWE of racism, trying to recruit other African-American wrestlers to our cause.

I don't know why they honestly waited so long to have Lacey Evans as a babyface. With her Marine background, that was a ready-made gimmick to put her as a babyface rather than the hell Sassy Southern Belle that didn't draw that much heat other than her program with Becky Lynch. I tuned out 15 minutes before Smackdown ended. As soon as I saw Corbin arrive on his throne, I knew it was time for me to flip channels. I rarely have any wrestlers that turn me off as a fan but Corbin takes the cake. Every freaking time. -

Interesting. We're getting Funhouse Bray Wyatt vs The Miz at TLC. -
I'm not saying that they should sign PCO long-term. Rumor has it that AEW is looking to give shorter-term deals at the moment and perhaps this could be the right tactic to use with somebody like PCO. Like Stiva said, use him to put over the likes of Darby Allin, Luchasaurus while giving him some dominant wins here and there.

I guess I was wrong when I said that no significant promotion would want to attach its name to ACH following his WWE exit but given that he had ties to MLW prior to his WWE signing, I guess it made sense. As for Teddy Hart.....good riddance. Looks clear to me following the Opera Cup that MLW is planning to have Davey Boy Smith Jr as their next top babyface and possibly beating Jacob Fatu for their title. Really curious as to if they'll pull the trigger on that. I don't know when DBS Jr & Pillman Jr's contracts with MLW expire but I would assume that AEW *might* be interested in DBS Jr.
